Very good quality service, and fair prices, they don't try to overcharge or gouge you. They do tend to be very busy and don't take appointments. I suggest getting there early probably before they open so you can get in line as they are first come first serve.

To the owner DONT SCREW THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY THAT HELPED YOU PROSPER AND SURVIVE BEWARE of this auto repair shop. SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE I AND MY SPOUSE AND MY SONS WILL BE ENDING A 2 DECADE LONG relationship due to new management and the lack of professionalism..These people scratched my beautiful car On Purpose .Manager is arrogant, pompous and insulting ...I had a $800.00 repair done here never haggled with the price of parts or labor. Apparently I angered these non professionals with my question of appointments. I was #3 to be serviced but was bumped by 2 later arrivals....when I mentioned this I was told I shouldn't argue with the mechanic that's fixing my car. 7 hours later I paid my bill and retrieved my car ...They didn't even test drive it. I knew I would not be returning...but then I noticed the 2 feet long scratch and knew this was deliberate and from CABRALES.....my car is never on city streets ...it's parked on a secured and monitored parking lot..I'd just washed it prior to my repair visit and had gone no where in between. I want the manager to know that Carlos Cabrales was servicing my vehicles before he was ever born. It's hard working people like me who helped to establish your place in the community and Mistreatment of customer does not make a business. If you want Honest and integral work done quick and fair priced auto repairs with Men who aren't immature,wounded,and insecure enough TO SCREW THE PAYING CUSTOMER OVER WITH ADDED REPAIRS GO TO DIAMOND AUTO REPAIR 75 E 71st.... Replaced my starter with an very old starter that lasted less than a year. Very disappointing. I have to replace my starter again. Reply to Owner : I took my car to a reputable shop and they inspected the starter. They went as far as advising me to report the shop that replaced my starter because it was an old part. I no longer feel safe doing business with you. I know little about cars and should have gotten a second look when you first replaced it. You live and you learn.

Best mechanic on the East Side does great work very professional reasonable with prices warranting with every part if I was able to I would give them a 1000 plus stars then come in for you over 10 years never had the issue will keep coming and so I'm not able to come anymore.

Do not come to this shop This man literally only care for people if they been there for years ! ..it says first come first serve but even if your the first in line standing in the cold he gone let other people who been sitting in there cars go before you if he knew them longer and he is rude and disrespectful yells and says “I have the right to refuse service” if you don’t agree with how he runs his shop and the favoritism is unfair towards other customers who also wait in line if I could get this shop closed down I would’ve .

This place USUALLY offers excellent service. This week has not been USUALLY. Took my truck in to getting it looked at because I believe my starter was gone. Towed it in and in a couple of days my truck was running. The day after that I'm getting off the expressway at and I lose steering. Once I was able to finally stop up the road I see my belt had fell off. I get it towed in yet again. I'm told my fan pulley snapped off and that they will charge me 120 to put a new one on. The next day I turn my truck on and it immediately turns off and I haven't been able to drive my vehicle since.

I absolutely love Cabrales I've been a faithful customer for over 20 years. I was sad to find out the owner Carlos had passed away. He had a hilarious sense of humor and was an all around good person. They have a high client base who have been doing business with them for 40 plus years always reasonable with their prices and the work is top notch. I've never had an issue. They do work on a first come first serve basis. People begin lining up around 7 a.m. to be served. If you want quality reasonable repairs for your vehicles? This is where you need to go.
