Lack of ownership and accountability. I came in for some minor repairs to the front of my car nothing major. Left with it properly repaired in the front but they caused damages to my engine coolant system which resulted in the leaking of my coolant and overheating of my car on my drive back home from Caliber. It was determined that the engine coolant line had been damaged and cut but caliber refused to acknowledge this or provide any form of ownership/ compensation even though these problems were not prevalent prior to my service here. A quick service repair to the front of my car then resulted in total damage of $6,000 that I had to pay all out of pocket. If you want to work with a shop that damages your vehicle, refuses to take ownership, and makes you pay for it all out of pocket then this is the perfect place for you to go.

We had an excellent experience with Caliber Collision Lakeway with my girlfriend's Mercedes SUV a couple of years ago, so when my Mercedes 550 SL got sideswiped off to Caliber it went. The front desk Manager Lisa made the insurance process effortless, David did a thorough inspection and we elected to have additional work done that was unrelated to the claim after noting his thoroughness and remembering the quality of their previous work for us. Caliber was able to get my car in on short notice, greatly appreciated as I had to be out of town for a week. They kept me informed of what stage my car was in by text, body, spray booth, and completion, even a brief note from the painter on a detail which I very much appreciated. They discovered a few additional items that were claim related (a common occurrence as damage hidden behind a body panel stays hidden until the repair process begins in earnest), filed the required supplemental paperwork with my insurer and completed the work without my having to do a thing. I hold an insurance license and know the extra time and effort required to process supplementary claims, just as with my girlfriend's car they made it effortless. Thanks guys. Picking the car up I was very pleased with the body work and paint, it looks brand new. When I collected the car Lisa went over both invoices (one for the insurance claim, the other for the work I requested outside my claim), reminded me of the warranty and assembled my paperwork along with my keys. Long story short I use Caliber Collision in Lakeway because I now have two excellent experiences with them, and recommend them without reservation.

My 10 year old 2015 Mercedes is a great car on the road but needed “facelift” and some dents and scrapes that made the car look old and unloved. Brittany and the wonderful team at Caliber Lakeway did an amazing job of fixing the dents and replaced the back bumper new paint. I am so happy to have a “new” car. I am so happy how it turned out! Thank you so very much!!
