Friends recommended Calypso, and I highly recommend them also. Made appointment for long overdue oil change. In addition, Jim found cruddy black air cabin filter & old battery was iffy. He honestly told me it might go for a while, but with hot weather, I didn’t want to chance being stranded. They provided ride home & picked me up within 4 hours. Andy at the front desk & Jim in the shop are honest & friendly people, do great work, & treat you with respect!

I've never rated a auto shop before. This is worth the time. Jim knows what He's doing he SAT down with me and talked me thru everything. Also the work was done when I expected. "Thank you". The boys all were all frendly too. Must be family owned some of the family came in shared snacks for the company I thought it was very special. I give 5stars for sure👍

Jim is a liar and a thief! Calypso's takes appointment, just doesn't keep them. Tow truck customers take priority. You had my vehicle that I made an appointment for almost 2 months and failed to do what I hired you to do. Wanted to sell me something that I didn't need, rather than fix the problems You are a capable parts exchanger, just a lousy mechanic . Jim told me ways to bypass the problem and then in the same sentence claims to be working diligently on the problem. A real mechanic did what I hired you to do in a total of 30 minutes of time and for $46.00. I didn't have to replace anything. This is how you know that Jim is liar. When talking, he's looking at the ground! And he is selling his agenda and something that he wants and not necessarily what you need.

I love this shop. It’s professional, clean, welcoming, trustworthy, and everything you look for in a mechanic. Jim and his father own the shop so it automatically feels family oriented. Any time my car breaks down that sense of dread isn’t there anymore because I know they will get it up and running in a timely manner that won’t send me into a financial crisis.

After having a Great Mechanic for 10 years, 30 years ago, I had given up on finding another. A close friend suggested I try Calypso. My faith in in finding an honest, trustworthy and friendly Mechanic was rewarded! Ron, Jimmy, Andy et al; was rediscovered. They were so helpful! Everyone there went out of their way to help find out why our brake lights weren't working. Once it was discovered, they handed us two bulbs, free of charge, to get us safely to AutoZone.

The owners know their stuff and conduct business with integrity. I cannot even keep track of how many times they have saved me money when the dealership was trying to get me to pay thousands of dollars for unnecessary work to my vehicle. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.

I brought my non-running van here that had been to several other shops in town and no one could figure out the problem. Jim and Doug went through the entire electrical system and found the problems and had it running perfectly and charged me way less than I expected. I have since had my vehicles serviced here and just wish I had known how good these guys are years ago. They are super friendly, honest, fair and excellent mechanics that aren't afraid to tackle big problems. Excellent shop!

Excellent service from this family run shop. My car had many issues and I was questioning whether to repair it or get a head start on a new down payment. Even knowing this, I felt the staff here were fair and straightforward in trying to help me figure out the different options and determine which scenario was going to be to my benefit. They have been honest with me and truly accommodating to my needs. My brother in law has been using this shop and I am glad that he recommended that I try them out as well. A+
