These people are crooks do not take an of your vehicles to this place. Lakin the receptionist is a straight up liar and will try to convince you to buy a bunch of stuff you don’t need. I took my truck in to have them replace my Actuator for my 4 wheel drive cause it was sticking. It was stuck in 4 wheel drive so I had it towed. By the time they test drove it she told me my truck was stuck in 4 wheel drive and that I had to have a brand new transmission, not a rebuilt one, but a brand new transmission. I called back the following day and talked to the manager. He told me my truck was not stuck in 4 wheel drive and that it never was. So I asked him why was I told that my truck was stuck and why did I need a new transmission. They advertise they rebuild transmission. The manager told me they don’t rebuild transmission. When it was time for me to pick my truck up I found them trying to put back in my old transmission as a rebuilt and pass it off as a new transmission. When I asked they tried to tell me it was new. They said it’s brand new on the inside. The audacity of these people is something else. Lakin the receptionist told me lie after lie after lie. My pick up was delayed because they had to order my brand new transmission since they got caught trying to screw me over. They installed my brand new transmission. It is worse than my old transmission. These people are very very spiteful. It feels like they got so mad they destroyed my brand new transmission already by driving the hell out of my truck. These people are being reported to the state for further actions. They think they’re slick and they’re not.

The team here is amazing!!! I was on a cross country trip by myself from CA to NC and I was passing through in my new car when I happened to run over large roadkill and it messed up the splash guard on the bottom of my car and so I pulled off the exit and was looking at it when someone who works at carfix saw I was in a bit of a pickle and that I was quiet stressed about it. He told me that he worked at Carfix right across the street and they opened in 5 minutes and could probably get me in right away. I drove over and Peter, Bobby, and Lakin were all waiting for me and my car was taken care of right away! I was able to get back on the road soon after with minimal delay to my trip. If I am ever passing through again I will definitely stop by and say hi to them. I am so grateful for their top quality service. Thank you! ♥️

I had this shop complete work on my vehicle from oil changes to replacing front end struts. They are honest, fast and reliable. Peter is great to work with, very friendly and helpful. They were able to allow me to use their vehicle to borrow at no charge while my car was in the shop for 5 days. I would highly recommend them.

Took the time to explain what repairs were necessary, and what my options were, without pressure. Appreciated the loaner car. Also, the whole store (garage included) was spotless. Overall, excellent service!

Great service and wonderful staff! Had a nice waiting area with free drinks but didn't have to wait long. Peter was very helpful and even offered a complimentary rental car while mine was being worked on. 10/10

Had to get my AC serviced, tires rotated. AC works now thankfully While rotating the tires they showed me my rear break pads were wore out so had them replaced.. Very personable and professional

I sincerely have zero complaints or recommendation for improvement. My experience with Carfix on several issues, including the purchase of new tires, was seamless. The expertise of all involved was sincerely appreciated, particularly Lakin. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with CarFix on Main Street in Crossville. Peter was knowledgeable, kind and able to get our car checked out and brakes repaired/replaced in a timely manner . We appreciate the detailed service reports and yes, even the videos, that were a part of the service. Good info from the videos. Well done, Peter and technicians /mechanics in service department.

Emergency repair Car Fix Crossville Thank you so much for your help! I was driving home to Pennsylvania with my son. We were transporting team luggage for Alvernia university basketball team. I hit a pothole and the vehicle started making a noise. After a couple visual inspections everything seemed ok. After driving for some time we heard and felt a loud bang. The tire and wheel came off our Denali. We were sitting in the passing lane and could not move. We were towed to Car Fix. It was Sunday December 22 everything was closed. The sign said they opened at 7:00 am. We went to hotel scared we wouldn't be home for Christmas. I walked back to Car Fix at 6:30 the next morning it was very cold. All I could think was a Monday morning 2 days before Christmas they would open late. To my surprise they were open before 6:45. I walked in and was greeted with a big smile and how can I help you. I explained my situation to Lakin. We went out to look at my Denali. It was sitting on a burned away rotter with a fender hanging off. The wheel was off and all chewed up with a broken coil spring. Lakin took me back in and said we would get to work on it immediately. She offered me a ride back to the hotel. Within a hour I had a call from Lakin. (My name is Jim but she called me Jimmy which was very comforting since only family calls me Jimmy). She told me what needed to be done pretty extensive damage and gave me prices and recommendations. She said they would get us on the road as soon as possible. She said they had most of the parts in stock and would get the others. Lakin called me back multiple times to give me updates on the progress. Lakin reassured me that they would get us on the road safely that same day. I was so surprised and relieved because we were still 12 hours from home. I told Lakin check out was 11 at hotel what should we do? She said we will come get you and your luggage you can wait in our waiting room. At 11:00 sharp the car fix suv picked us up. It was a very clean new suv and clearly identified so we felt safe. To my surprise the driver was the technician that worked on our repair. He explained everything they did and everything that would need to be done when I got home. Shockingly we pulled into Car Fix and our Denali was sitting outside. He said it's all done and I test drove it and your safe to go. Wow what a relief. Walked into the service desk and once again good morning Jimmy with a big smile. Everything was explained again by Lakin and the technician ( sorry forgot your name) they also explained the warranty and how it would work out of state. The price for the work they did was extremely reasonable. Would have been much more expensive back in Pennsylvania. We were offered drinks multiple times before we left. We were told to have a safe trip home Merry Christmas and visit us again if you come back this way. I can not recommend CarFix enough!! Everyone one was very pleasant helpful and professional especially Lakin! They took a very bad scary situation (breaking down out of state not knowing where you are)and helped us quickly and with quality work. The building is very clean and welcoming as well. Thank you to everyone involved again! I would hope that anyone who had an unfortunate accident like we did would be treated like family as we were at Car Fix Crossville and especially by Lakin. Having bought a truck at Carmax we used Carfix since they are affiliated. We had major engine issues that resulted in a new engine. They took care of us from the beginning and handled everything with the warranty company. They did their best to make sure the warranty company actually honored the warranty. We all know how insurance and warranty are. These guys replaced our engine plus other things that needed it and we paid $300 out of pocket. Absolutely lucky we bought the extra warranty and very lucky the Main Street Carfix team were on our side. Customer service is excellent and we will definitely be using them again.

When in for an oil change had a problem with the oil pan bolt told me they had to replace the oil pan. They bent over backwards to accommodate me in a friendly way to make the experience as easy as possible. Thanx.
