It’s 2024 and mechanics are still overcharging women for car repairs. Heather was a pleasure to speak with and incredibly helpful. I also appreciated the detailed car inspection list and fast service. HOWEVER - I am not knowledgeable about cars and I feel completely taken advantage of. They charged me $494.41 to replace the battery in my car. My father and fiancée were appalled when they saw my itemized receipt. I looked up cost estimations for battery replacement plus labor in Raleigh for my specific car make/model: Repair Pal = Between $331 - $345 Kelly Blue Book = Between $334 - $393

Extremely straightforward about issues with Dodge Ram 1500, prioritized work to be done to get me back on the road and back to work. Prices for services few bucks less than estimate given by dealership which is always good plus I didn't have to wait 8 days for the repair. Parts in stock amd had truck back a day earlier than promised. Appreciate the technician/mechanics advice about what's next to maintain truck and the awesome front desk staff who called and texted me with updates and numbers. Could've had it done cheaper but glad we came here for their expertise and especially the warrant I couldn't get from my buddy. Thanks Carfix.

As always, the team at Carfix was there when we needed help. They got us on the schedule quickly, the car was ready when they said it would be and we got a full diagnostic report that helps us plan future scheduled maintenance to keep us on the road.

Heather was very helpful and went out of her way to help me with a recall. The tech had my vehicle in and out quick. He even caught that my wipers were torn and my tires were low. I will definitely recommend bringing your vehicles to this store.

We had a pleasure with working with the great team at Carfix. They broke down what was needed to be done for our Vehicle based on severity, routine maintenance and add pictures depending on what was wrong. They also break the bill down very clearly and you get to choose what service you would like done and not. Very reasonable price's no bullshit charges. They had to get many parts for our Vehicle and they were very quick and responsive on what they needed to get and how long it will take (which was fairly quickly). We will be taking all of our vehicle's to this location for any issues and routine maintenance.

I showed up without an appointment to get a patch on my tire and, even though they had a day full of appointments, they were able to squeeze me in. Tire is repaired and had great service.

I’ve used this shop for my 12 year old Acura twice now. Both times the service has been excellent and I got a clear breakdown of estimated costs. I believe they are not the cheapest option, but their quality is high and the repairs are guaranteed for 5 years. It’s less expensive than the dealership, I get a much faster turnaround, and they are very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

She was very helpful with this situation since there was a third party involved. Richard provided excellent service as always. I had a wonderful experience at CarFix on Hillsborough Street. I went in for new brake pads and a state inspection. They were able to fit me in the same day - they dropped me off at my house while my car was being worked on, and picked me up when the car was ready! Christine and Heather provided outstanding customer service! Fair prices, honest staff, and a friendly vibe. I will definitely be returning for future auto repair needs. It’s great to have a place you can trust!

In my experience Carfix on Hillsborough in Raleigh is doing a great job. I was able to get an appointment for an oil change on short notice. The staff were friendly and efficient. The job was done expeditiously. They informed me of additional work that I might want to have done, but there was no pressure. In short, they treated me as I would like to be treated.
