From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Both times! The second time around, I met Joe who is super kind, helpful, with everyone. He is committed to service and helping people when it matters. They made me reschedule twice with no explanation and then when I show up, I waited 20 minutes to be greeted by anyone. When I went to pay, they said they wouldn't accept my Groupon and then threw my keys at me and said don't come back. Horrible staff!!!!

Joe continuously takes care of me and my never ending car issues. When I first went to Joe at Car- X, I joked that I would become his best customer with how many car issues I encounter... and I have kept that promise. Especially as a woman going into a auto body shop, I am always skeptical of being scammed or treated unfairly, but this has never been the case with Joe. He finds the best price while explaining every repair my car needs to keep me safe on the road. So thankful I can rely on Joe and his team!

Excellent customer service. Costco tried to force me to buy 4 new tires when one was flat because “that’s their policy with all wheel drive cars”. Cost would have been over $1200. Car X took me in immediately, fixed the flat and let me know all tires were perfectly fine. Cost -$40 and was done in 30 minutes.

I'm always hesitant to try a new mechanic shop, but I was referred to Car X by a neighbor. My car had been making a loud rattling noise that needed immediate attention. I called them in the morning and had no trouble making a same-day appointment. I dropped off my car and spoke directly to the manager. He reassured me that they would do a full inspection and contact me before the repair was done. He called me within a couple of hours with an update. Needless to say, they fixed my car and I am extremely happy with the service. I have undoubtedly found my new mechanic shop!

The worst customer service you can ever think of!!! Please ladies do not come here!!! Maybe they treat the men the same but as a woman please and I repeat please don’t come here! My jeep was 100 percent besides a little squeaking coming from the rear. I also just wanted a simple multi point system check. When I picked up my jeep it was like a rainbow on my dashboard. Every service light you can think of was on. I couldn’t even drive it. They messed my jeep wrangler electrical system up! To make a long story short, I had to go to another car x with more experience. They couldn’t fix it either. End of Story Car x had to take my jeep to an actual Jeep Dealership. Joe the district manager of this car x location is a complete donkey and I don’t recommend any woman to come here. Once my bf called and spoke with him he had a differ tone in his voice and then knew how to communicate. All I wanted to know was the status of my car. Wonder why he became a different man once a real man called…

Expensive, I went to have my car brakes checked because I had a problem braking but they only checked and changed the rear brakes that I knew were worn, but they didn’t check the behavior of the brakes, they didn’t purge the brakes, I went days later because the same problem I went to started was still happening and they didn’t take care of me, terrible and expensive service they charged me $650 just to change the rear brakes!!

I recently had my tire patched by Jesse, and the experience was excellent. Jesse was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. He quickly assessed the issue, provided clear explanations, and completed the repair to a high standard. I highly recommend Jesse for any tire repair needs.

The repair was quick and effective, the service was friendly and informative; I couldn't ask for more. Jessie was the guy who helped me out, and he showed me what happened to my tire, and taught me about what is repairable and what isn't. He had it repaired quick! Ideally? I'm never coming back! But realistically? I'll be back here, for sure.

Very good service I had a slow leak on my Tesla and they checked my tire to see if they could patch it and found that the rim was cracked. Unfortunately, I needed to take it to the dealer to get that resolved however, they did not charge me anything for the work that they did and I will definitely come back here in the future.

These guys are awesome!! Was in a pinch, with a flat tire. Was driving around for quite a while, couldn’t find any tire shops that would set aside a quick 15-20 minutes to repair, until I called car-x tire &auto!! They were busy and still told me to come in which I appreciate and they understood how important it was to get back on the road as soon as possible. They were friendly, courteous and fast!! If you are in the neighborhood I highly highly recommend them!!

When I arrived, Jessie greeted me. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, the service was very quick and professional. Customer service matched the service!! I was impressed. I will return.

Came in on a last min in the morning since I had a screw in my tire. Had to get on the road for a work trip and Joe got me hooked up quickly. I’m happy that he was honest and gave me a great deal since my tire wasn’t that damaged. Rare you get a honest mechanic, go see them if you need anything!

It is an incredibly organized and clean garage. My appointment was at 10 . That is exactly when servicing began. No"We are running late" as is the case in many garages. Everyone was professional and kind. I was even given cold water. I highly recommend the Carx on 2509 N.Ashland especially if you are a woman. They honored the online coupon. Also your steering wheel and car seat are covered in plastic to insure health. I have not been to such a professional service station. There's no other place with such high standards that I encountered. Thank you to Mr.Joseph Stanek and to E.Campa who serviced my car. Out of ten stars they get 11!!@

Great service center and extremely well run location! Professional, thorough and HONEST! It’s so unusual to feel as if you are getting the straight truth from these types of businesses. Auto shops have so many tactics that could be misleading to increase your bill. This group ran diagnostic checks and provided very clear opinions and recommendations. I feel like some of their recommendations saved me a lot of money, and other service centers would have taken advantage of the situation to make more money. I now bring all of my cars to this location for all service. I recommend it highly!!! Thanks to Joe and Jessie!!!

Made an appointment with the service manager for 2 small jobs and agreed on a price. When I brought the car in, the desk guy waited until they put my car up before telling me the price had changed. Then he refused to bring the car down and give it back to me. Ultimately had to have the police come and make them give the car back. Strongly urge not going here.
