Joe and team made my experience seamless - highly recommend! I needed two new front tires and an alignment. They were ordered the next day, ready for my appt and the process was easy as a customer. Will definitely return for oil changes/other maintenance.

This is my second time coming to correct car X in Chicago, Illinois on Ashland and I will only get my oil changes from Car X from now on they do great work service is great management is great they’re welcoming and I do not feel judged when I use a coupon. This is a big step for me because I’ve been a lifetime Jiffy Lube customer. But I was recommended from a friend and car did not disappoint. I just want to remind you. It pays to be honest to your customers because the word will spread whatever you’re doing. You guys need to keep it up.

My company fleet car was brought here 2x with a slow leak on the tire. They couldn’t find the issue both times and sent me off - now I’m stuck 4 hrs in to the drive for a work trip and my tire is going flat. First time they couldn’t find a puncture so they just filled it up and said come back if it leaks again, and then they could work with the fleet company to get the tire replaced. Second time, they sent me off after replacing just the valve stem, claiming it was leaking. I’ll be late to my destination and am stranded getting my tires replaced. I know it can be tough negotiating a tire swap with car fleet companies, but this is EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid by bringing it in twice.

Car Ashland was very excellent. I’ve been to other mechanics and I’ve always had one headache after another but here I’ve had the headaches they took really good care of me even though they couldn’t find my appointment they still seen me which I was happy about and the Personnel of Joel and Rob was very polite and very helpful. The mechanic was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend the store and their services for I’ve given five stars to excellent customer service and excellent care to mycar thank you.

Not all good deals are worth it. I saw a groupon for an oil change that was too good to pass up. Well...I should have. I purchased my groupon and called to book an appt. ( so I thought). I spoke to someone who was able to get me a 9:30 am slot the next day. Here is where things get interesting. I arrived around 10 min early and came across a silver haired monster of a manager. He stated he didn't have me in the system and someone else was scheduled at the time. He was said you don't have an appt. So I show him the email. He said that's an appointment request and I should "read my emails". Granted I missed that. However it unwanted energy and attitude. I said your energy is bad. Then he went off saying get out and never come back. Lol like I ever had plans too. I was leaving when he was approaching me like he wanted to hit me. Of course that wasn't going to happen and I was not going to stand there and agure. Basically don't let good online deals fool you. Customer service is everything despite how you look.

The WORST experience I have ever had at a car shop. If I could give 0 stars I would. As a woman, I shouldn't ever be scared to get something simple done for my car. I simply went in for a wheel alignment, I was told that my brakes needed to be serviced and I told the manager Joseph Stanek "No, I am okay thanks." He walked away and I noticed it was taking longer than an hour for my wheel alignment so I asked how much longer just for him to tell me that I said yes to the brake flush???? I repeated again that I did not want the brake flush only the wheel alignment. He immediately showed me hostility and attitude when I clearly stated that I did not want the service on my brakes as my dad had plans to service that at home. Joseph Stanek then stated rudely that he wasn't going to argue with me and had the audacity to say that I was playing games with him?!? Then he said to never bring my car there again because they won't service me! I WAS NOT PLANNING TO EVER COME BACK WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED!! Not to mention, the only thing that I came in for was a wheel alignment AND MY WHEEL IS STILL NOT ALIGNED. The whole time I was polite and clear with what I wanted and not wanted but instead I was put in a position where I felt I was going to get scammed as I was a woman alone at a car shop. I should not have to feel scared that something was done to my car with malicious intent! I will be reporting this scenario anywhere I can to inform people as this was an APPALLING experience that NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO EXPERIENCE.

Expensive, I went to have my car brakes checked because I had a problem braking but they only checked and changed the rear brakes that I knew were worn, but they didn’t check the behavior of the brakes, they didn’t purge the brakes, I went days later because the same problem I went to started was still happening and they didn’t take care of me, terrible and expensive service they charged me $650 just to change the rear brakes!!

Joe continuously takes care of me and my never ending car issues. When I first went to Joe at Car- X, I joked that I would become his best customer with how many car issues I encounter... and I have kept that promise. Especially as a woman going into a auto body shop, I am always skeptical of being scammed or treated unfairly, but this has never been the case with Joe. He finds the best price while explaining every repair my car needs to keep me safe on the road. So thankful I can rely on Joe and his team!

They made me reschedule twice with no explanation and then when I show up, I waited 20 minutes to be greeted by anyone. When I went to pay, they said they wouldn't accept my Groupon and then threw my keys at me and said don't come back. Horrible staff!!!!
