I recently purchased a Groupon for an oil change at Car-X Tire & Auto, expecting to save some money. To my surprise, the deal was full of hidden fees, making the final cost nearly the same as their regular price. It’s a classic bait and switch situation advertise a discount, then tack on unexpected charges once you’re there. If a business is going to offer a deal, they should be upfront about all costs, not lure customers in with misleading promotions. I’ll never bring my vehicle to Car-X again or purchase anything from them. If you’re considering using a Groupon here, be prepared to pay full price anyway.

I was very pleased with Rob and the service I received for my oil change service. I was welcome and the waiting area was warm and comfortable on a cold day. These guys were the greatest. Ralph the new guy was so so so helpful in getting the work done on my car expediently. This is the only car shop that I ever have been to that didn't try to sell me additional items that I don't need for my car. I feel like this place is safer for women and it's an honest and open spot for car repairs.

Spoke over the phone and made an appointment for wheel alignment. I wanted to get an email confirmation but the guy said that is not necessary. Drove 50 mins to the store on the day of the appointment. Now, manager tells me I don’t have an appointment and he can’t help me. I insisted I made an appointment over the phone. He said he never spoke to me. I showed him my call record. He finally admitted that he had called in sick on that day and I had spoken to someone else. But he refused to take any responsibility and just wanted to shoo me away. Very unprofessional behavior. Really disappointed.

They did fantastic work on some of the parts to my engine. Very knowledgeable mechanics/technicians. Very professional and very conscientious about what they do. Great work. I am very satisfied with the work that was done to my car.

Tried to tell me I had a problem with my car and they couldn't do a oil change and said it would be $770 to fix it they lied I got my car checked nothing was wrong with it and a I got a oil change don't go here they are trying to rip people off on top of it they said they don't do tire rotation according to the manager there

Muy inconforme, la atención no fue la mejor, compre llantas para cambiar en mi carro y no podían hacerlo entoces me enviaron a otro lugar teniendo que cargar las llantas nuevas dentro de mi carro lo cual no fue agradable y manejar 30 min para llegar al nuevo lugar, creo que hice parte del trabajo de ellos

The Groupon tells you you have to pay extra for things and then when you decline those things was told “the computer won’t let me remove it it’s a package”. Could have paid the regular price at take 5 and it woulda been faster. Groupon is not saving you any money. Then when the car was done he just stood there. Never said a word to me. So I just got up and stood at the register. Stared at him until he was finished working up the final tally and then he finally spoke after a few minutes. Customers are not psychic can you talk to them and actually say THANK YOU when you take their money? These businesses think they’re entitled to your money and don’t have to open their mouths. Gave 3 stars because at least nothing has fallen off the car. Have no idea if I got what I paid for just didn’t appreciate the service.

Came here to have a tire swapped that had a screw in the sidewall, waited for over 3 hours to have the service complete when I was the only one there for a service. Once they brought the car around, the entire perimeter of my rim was completely butchered. It looks like they took a chainsaw to it to put the rim on my spare. I brought my car back and showed the manager, Miguel, what happened and he said not to worry, that he’d get in contact with the district manager and get it taken care of. I’ve had to follow up three times now and have yet to hear back from anyone and it’s been three weeks.

I must say I had a terrible experience Kareem worked on a oil pan on my vehicle damaged my new pan and gasket and stripped my screws, he did a oil change 15 days before which caused my oil to leak drastically and now my car is sending a code to my computer because of his mess up it's messing up my engine code. I have been taking my vehicle here for 17 years worst experience ever I do not recommend him as a mechanic

This is a fair and honest shop. They checked my AC and when they couldn’t fix it bc it involved a computer reprogramming that only the dealer could do. They didn’t charge me anything. That’s how things use to be and I’m glad this is still an auto shop, a sector in the maintenance service industry that is still old school like that.

Took our 4runner here to get a tire swapped. They ruined our $300 rim (stripped it all the way around, see exposed metal around the perimeter in photo). Went back, manager Miguel acknowledged that it happened there and explained how it happened. Said he would be contacting the district manager and get it taken care of.. has not replied or called us back after following up 3+ times, over three weeks. Now have to get a third party involved. Don't come here for anything. A tire swap shouldn't cause this many issues. Lots of other places to choose from.
