unhappy with the service provided. The oil change was great. The attempt at fixing the door lock failed, but they didn't fail to charge $600 for the attempt.

I brought my car in for a small job, and I received a call from Cass st auto for $1500 oil oan hasket replacement. They said that the oil pan gasket needs to be changed and there is no oil in the engine. My usual mechanic that i use for big jobs is on Miramar road, so I didn't want to risk driving all the waybthere and damageing the engine so I had Cass st auto go ahead and do it. A few weeks later, I was at my mechanic on Miramar road, and I asked them how much his job would run. He quoted me $500 less now. I understand this guy is a couple blocks away from me and in the besch aread, but 50% more than my regular mechanic? That's not ok. I'm ok if it costs a couple hundred more but $500. His shop time is like $165 an hour. I guarantee you that the mechanic doesn't even make $65 a hour in this guy's charging $165. I will never come back to this place. I recommend that no one ever come back to this place. It is an outrageous price. I was ripped off. I will never, ever take one more car or recommend anyone to go to this place. Places like this should deserve to go out of business.

I left my vehicle in the AM with a request to replace the oil pan gasket. When I went to retrieve it later they had changed the oil but hadn’t addressed the oil leak. They had discovered a laundry list of needed preventative maintenance. I said nothing about an oil change. There was no apology for the unwanted service. Just a solicitation for several thousands of dollars of unwanted work. Had I known how they operate I would have demanded a written proposal before leaving my vehicle with them

Took an old vehicle to these men on Friday before a holiday weekend. As a senior woman, I am concerned when I go for auto repairs that I will be taken advantage of . Not at Cass auto .They stayed beyond closing to get the vehicle up and running their prices were reasonable. They went above and beyond and were very pleasant on top of it all. What a welcome find. I give them the highest recommendation And will take them all of my repairs in the future.

Took my Fiat Abarth into Cass Street Auto to have the leaking heater core replaced. They had never done one, learned how to do it, and did the replacement. Though a real chore, the work was completed with their usual competency and excellence - thank you!

I took my Lexus to Cass Auto for a repair to it’s power steering after looking at the cost from a Lexus dealer. Cass was quick and efficient, used Lexus parts and cost less than if I had taken it to Lexus.

My bronco was having issues passing the California smog test. The first go it came out as a gross polluter. I took it to Randy at Cass Street auto and in 1 1/2 days they’re able to fix the problem replace bad parts and I passed smog with ease. I trust Randy and his team with my 1993 Ford bronco. They’ve kept it running in top-notch condition for years. Two thumbs up for Randy Cass Street auto and Mission Hills Auto.

I went in thinking I’d need a new key fab for a friend’s car and was prepared for it to be expensive, turns out the battery was just dead. They replaced it for free! Extremely honest! Alfredo was great to work with!

I’ve gotten helped here before and the service this time did not disappoint! The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They talked me through every step of the repair and made great recommendations for future proofing. I’m sure if I took the time I could have found a cheaper rate somewhere else but the rates they gave me felt reasonable and were well worth the peace of mind. I’ve heard it’s important to trust your mechanic and they made me feel like I was in good hands immediately. I will be back here again next time something goes wrong with my car! Thanks!

Agreed to have an inspection before a trip, called in first, said couple hours. Upon showing him couple issues outside bluntly said couldn't work n my vehicle, accused me of sleeping in it. He saw my dog's bed, which he was in. Became an argument. After clearing that up left vehicle, 3.5 hours later no word. They didn't get it up on rack still and was trying to leave town so just a waste of time plus being insulted a bit.
