I brought my Truck to Matthew for new brake pads, rotors, fluid and new Tires. I needed it to be done quickly for a trip I had planned and not only did the job get done fast, but Matthew gave me great advice on tires and had a cool way to show me updates via text. Great experience!

These guys tried to rob me with overpriced services. Had an axel break on my car and when I got it towed here I was quoted for $1200 for just the axel! I ended up doing my own research and found a place that only charged me $250 for the same repair. Be very careful with these guys; before you go with them for a repair I would seriously research to make sure you can’t get a better deal than what they’re offering.

I came to Central Automotive last year when my car had some issues shifting gears. I had an extended service contract that I'd never used before but Israel and Matt helped me through the process. They were amazing, really advocating for me with the service contract company to get me the best coverage, and my car came back running really well. I came back for a 60k service last week, and they identified the source of some issues I had noticed with the car. They once again advocated for me with the extended service contract company and did all the legwork to get me the best coverage. I appreciate that they go the extra mile to take care of customers, even giving me a ride to the BART Station when I drop my car off, and picking me up when my car is ready. Definitely planning to keep coming to Central Automotive from now on for any service and repairs.

My first time dealing with Central was pretty much perfect. Needed to get my brakes fixed as I knowingly waited a bit too long (I like to get every last little bit out of brakes and tires, which isn't super smart), but I was alerted by the newly squeaking brakes just last night that I couldn't wait anymore. I figure I lucked out today and was able to bring it in immediately and get the work done in one day. They pointed out some things I needed to know without any kind of up-selling. It seems a bit remarkable that without prior notice, they can inspect, fill out a report with pictures, get the parts, do the work to completion, and seemingly not cut any corners (that probably wouldn't work out well for reputable mechanics), and get me out the door so I wouldn't miss the next day of work. They stayed a bit later than closing to get it done, no complaints on their part, nor mine. I'll be back for some of that other needed work very soon.

We were very happy the the auto service we received at Central Automotive Service. Matthew and staff was very professional and the work done to our Sequoia was done to satisfaction. Toyota charged me double of what Central Auto did just for a diagnosis - and it wasn’t what what Toyota told me it was. We highly recommend Central Automotive.

As always, my experience with Central Automotive was exceptional. Matt and Isreal completed the diagnostic work and made the corrections to the sensors on my truck and my wife's car for a price that made my wallet smile.

I have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 127,000 miles on it. It goes in for service at Central Automotive every 6 months. They are the best!! Professional, friendly and they have never recommended service that was not needed. Thank you Matt and Israel.

I’ve been bringing my 2005 diesel pick up here since I bought it new. Matt and Israel are the greatest-they listen, they answer your questions, and they provide full service for all my vehicle needs. I also bought my truck batteries and tires from them. They will not disappoint you and they will fix your vehicle in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I’m a very satisfied customer!

Mathew and his crew kept me informed of their progress and issues I might have with my Tahoe. The shop is super clean and the mechanics are very knowledgeable. Not only did they fix the issue I had, when they saved time on the labor the total was adjusted. Who does that! Thanks again Matt.

Had a sudden loss of power in my 25 year old diesel truck while rolling down the 680. Towed it to Central overnight and at first glance it seemed like a lost cause. But they were able to pull a rabbit out of their hat for me and I'm back on the road and rolling like a champ again in less than 24 hrs. Really great service and especially as an out-of-towner to be treated so well really speaks to the superior character of the folks at Central Automotive. I hope I never break down in the Bay area again but, if I do, I know for sure I'll be calling on Central Automotive to save the day. Thanks guys for excellent service excellent communication and for finishing the job below the estimated cost! Wish I could give 10 stars!

Central Automotive Service Center should be everyone’s go to shop. I had my maintenance done and rear brakes. Israel, the manager, was honest, clear and communicative with pricing and timing. The detailed maintenance report they send you via text is an outstanding touch. Central Automotive knows how to treat their customers. Truly the most communicate and responsive shop in the Walnut Creek area. Easy booking, great deals, and amazing people. Don’t hesitate…just give them a call already!!

It's not often that you walk out of an auto shop feeling like it was actually a pleasant experience! But Matt at Central Automotive made it a great experience for me as a new customer. So glad I was referred to them. This is definitely my new go-to auto shop. They were very responsive with booking an appointment, and they provided a very thorough, written report of the work performed along with pictures. I really appreciated their no-nonsense approach.
