- UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT -  James, Ivan & Illy running the place better than ever.  I've been using this shop for over 3 years now.. always been a fine, honest establishment with total CHAMPS working on my old 1996 Tahoe.  Let me add that I drive professionally for Slope Transportation here in Denver.. owner of the company has chosen to leave his prior mechanic and have our whole fleet of SUVs & Transit vans serviced here.  If you live dwntwn.. there is no other shop in the heart of Denver with more straightforward, trustworthy, reliable, good-hearted & hard working humans.

Had a terrible experience here. I will say, the front office people are incredibly kind and hard working, they are good people. I needed my car done in 3 weeks, they said it would be done in 2 weeks. In the end I didn’t get my car back for 10.5 weeks!!! There were multiple delays (not the insurance guy) 1 was not their fault, 1 that was their fault, and others I didn’t get explanations for. To make matters worse, I got it back and the AC wasn’t working, had to bring it back in and sit in there office until it was fixed again. Very very frustrating. Won’t be coming back or recommending to friends.

Ivan came highly recommended by a family member who frequently goes to him, and I can see why. He was quick to help me with my car issues, honest, and the repair was fairly priced. I highly recommend him for any car maintenance or repairs.

The office staff is 10/10. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to car but here I feel like I have an ally. I dropped of my car for yearly maintenance and got it back same evening. It was fast easy and an enjoyable process.Thanks Champa, you have a new customer for life.

I don't often write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this place. James went above and beyond to help me. I've worked on my car before so I know what things cost to fix and their prices were very fair. James went above and beyond to shop around a cheaper part when he didn't need to, just because I asked him to, even when I told him he didn't need to anymore, he still was trying to get me the best deal. And he gave me a very thorough diagnostic. Thank you James. I found my new mechanic shop.

Do not recommend this had our vehicle for 3 months damaged out fuel pump catalytic converter dented the car could not figure out what was wrong with after we 3,100 to fix the timing chain and it did not fix the problem they gave it back to us worse then when we took it in now we have to pay another mechanic to fix and pay a lawyer to sue this shop avoid at all costs

Nice people , unfortunately they almost destroyed my engine after I scraped up every penny to my name to be able to fix my car, they left my drain plug loose and I lost 5 quarts of oil on the highway. Probably if I stopped 30 seconds later my engine would have been toast. I know people make mistakes, but tightening the oil plug should be on your checklist. If I don’t have a car I don’t have a job..

My experience with Champa Auto couldn’t have been better. Being a small woman with little auto knowledge it’s always nerve wracking going into a new car shop. I called to make an appointment to fix my flat tire, and they got me into the shop a few hours later. I spent only one hour in the waiting room while they fixed my tire. Everyone I spoke to was kind and friendly. At the end when I was about to pay they said nope that’s it no need to pay, and they sent me home with a brand new tire and a positive experience. I will definitely be going back for all my car needs, and I highly recommend you do too!

Unfortunately unexpected car stuff happens, and it's usually a gamble with mechanics and auto shops. I won the gamble with these folks. 100% recommend, they will be my go to from here on out.

I was trying to leave a second five star review these guys are the best shop in town if u want a shop to be honest and do good work go here Highly recommend!!!! I left a previous review tried to leave a second one but it got deleted somehow but trust me when I say I’m very Leary of shops and the guys are the best honest hardworking staff and mechanics are the best!! If u need a job done right and honest people you can trust this is the only shop I will recommend and go to my second time there they are the absolute best!

Thank you so much Champa Auto Repair! Pulled into Denver for the Red Sox game and when I parked I realized I had a nail in my tire and it was leaking air. In panic mode I called Champa Auto Repair and they told me to bring it in! Literally took less than 30 minutes to fix and off to the game we were! Fast and friendly service! The staff are professional, they send you a list of what is needed for your car and what you should do now and what is ok to postpone, they make sure your car is done right, and prices are reasonable. I have maintained my car with them for a few years now and always the same great results. Definitely recommend champa Auto repair.

These guys were very professional and did excellent work. They got me in last minute when a wheel bearing failed on my car and had me out the same day and even helped me fix a dent I had. You can tell the level of comradery and passion on the team as well, being there felt like I was a guess in thier family home. Everyone was very personable and informative. I will definetly be coming back here for future repairs

these crooks should be in jail for auto theft. we were told our 2012 Ford Escape was a total loss, could not be driven or repaired. they told us they sold the truck to a scrap dealer for $500, and then sent us $250. a couple weeks later we received a Toll Fee Violation notice that showed their mechanic driving our truck with our license plates and our registration. we called immediately and they have completely ghosted us. we received two more Toll Lane Violation notices, all showing pictures of their mechanic driving our truck. so, we've reported their theft of service and are filing a small claims court case against them. avoid this crooked business at ALL costs.

I called them same day to see if they could install my A/C Line and charged it up same day! They also fixed a plug to my A/C that was frayed! They did a really great job! Definitely recommend even if you need cosmetic repair or deep engine repairs.

I had a great experience in Champa Auto Repair. I went there to replace the front wheel bearings on a Nissan Altima. James told me what it would cost in advance which I appreciated. And they did a great job, the car drives very quietly now. I will recommend this place to my friends.
