Honestly probably the best service at a mechanic I've ever had. Came in with a 2003 Cadillac DeVille misfiring and another shop quoted $1500+ to fix it (without really telling us what the problem was) and Chas fixed it and even stayed extra late to make sure it was done.

Very happy customer of Chas's Desert View Automotive here. I had the timing belt replaced and a tune up done to my four cylinder vehicle. Chas provided very timely service and kept me in the loop throughout the day. And the price -- which was quoted before work even began, and which was much less than was quoted by a nearby Firestone) -- was more than fair. And to top it off, Chas is a friendly guy who's willing to explain the service in detail. A great experience.

Chas is absolutely fantastic at what he does. I don't trust anyone else with my vehicles. Not only does he explain everything in full detail but his prices are more than fair. I have never had to return my car to him because of faulty work. He gets everything right the first time. I recommend Chas to everyone I know.

Honest, helpful and knowledgeable mechanics/ owner. came here because I was in a pinch got burned by another mechanic and Chas came through. Fixed the errors that other have made was more than reasonable with me and definitely went above and beyond. So if you want great rates, service, and knowledgeable mechanics working on your vehicle Chas is the place to go. Will come back and recommend to other.

I was referred to Chas's from a friend to get a quote to turn off my check engine light on my car for emissions testing. The mechanic did what he said and did a diagnostic test to see why the light was on. After a week of me calling him everyday for an update, finally he told me what was wrong with the car. He gave me a quote to what "might" be the problem and he would fix it for $600. This was out of the budget for a "maybe" it will work fix. So I said thank you and said I would make other arrangements. So he said I would just have to pay the $100 labor fee for the diagnostic test that took all week which was fine. So I confirm that my car would be ready to be picked up a 9am in the morning. Not only was the car not put together, he added an extra $60 to the bill and had me wait the parking lot with my 2 week old infant.... After finally getting my car back I took it to another mechanic and had the car fixed for $200.

Awesome! These guys do it right. I have been there a few times and not once have they tried to sell me something i dont need. They have saved me a lot of money and always done a good job and fast. I highly recommend them...
