I have taken my car here a few times. Each time I had to call him to ask if my car was ready. He never called to let me know what the issue was or how much it would be to fix. I took my car in last week after someone broke into the car. Same issue. Car repairs are not cheap, you can’t just do the work without checking with me if I even want the work done then charge me. Worst part was this was what it looked like when I picked it up. The steering wheel cover was still cracked, just taped together with electrical tape. I called to complain and he said “that’s more money to fix”, which is fine if you actually had called to ask me if I want it fixed and how much it would be to fix. Let me make the decisions for my own car! I feel like I was overcharged and had my car held hostage because I never agreed to the work done and it wasn’t even fixed when I picked up the car. After spending almost $600 on a tape job, new switch and window replacement, I expect at least to come back to a car that is fixed. What a scam.

Amazing auto repair shop. Was on road trip and rear brakes started making some awful noises. Dropped the car off at 4pm and had it back the following late morning with 4 new rotors and brake pads at an amazing price. Very honest and friendly shop, visit with confidence!

Jesus was extremely helpful in solving my problems on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I was able to get my car in the shop just within two days of contacting the shop. Jesus was able to replace the rear differential fluid, clean the rear differential of any metals, engine coolant thermostat, and perform an overall check of the vehicle. In terms of pricing, or is very fair and you can't really beat it. The Jeep dealership wanted $600 just to replace rear differential fluid. With everything, I paid less than 300 for the services at Chavez Auto. I'm beyond satisfied for their services. Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and family.

Unbelievable auto repair shop. I needed my emissions fixed to update my license plates. Jesus quoted me a price and I accepted it and when they called me to say it was done, the charge was $200 less than the quote I agreed to.

Very honest and knowledgeable shop. I had had my brakes done some months ago by another shop. My car started making an intermittent metallic clicking noise when braking slowly. I took it 2 places who said the brakes looked fine and they didn’t hear anything. But the sound seemed unsafe. I finally stopped in here bc it’s near my house and it had good reviews. He fixed my car the next day for a very reasonable price. The rotor was warped, and once he fixed it the noise is gone, and braking feels smoother. Highly recommend!

Not a big fan of this place. They did work on my girls truck and seemed to really help her out, especially since it was kinda a rush job. They did some good work but didn't address the entire issue. They wanted more money to address the issue we brought the vehicle in for in the first place. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and we bring in a vehicle that we had a very good mechanic diagnose prior to bringing it here. Chavez refused to do anything to the vehicle unless we agreed to pay for the procedure without him actually double checking to make sure the problem would be remedied. He wanted to make sure we would spend at least double the money before knowing what the actual problem was! I thought they were trustworthy and maybe they are, maybe he acts this way because they are insanely busy, I don't know but it's not good for business. There's more issues but there's no need to go deeper now. Just be wary of this place. Get a second opinion always.
