I regret to inform you, gentle reader, that previous correspondence revealing the… unhygienic nature of the bathrooms is indeed correct. Emphatically so. Dirty floors, unfortunate smells, but most certainly the greatest transgression, would be the faulty, dare I say, broken hand drying appliances. I would be willing to raise the stars I give would this issue be resolved, but alas, I only foresee that day arriving when hell freezes over and the universe retreats back to its singular beginning. imdb.me/nathancoenen

Nice customer service people, but dirtiest bathroom EVERRRR. And no toilet paper in any of the 3 stalls. Husband said same was true of the men’s bathroom. How does management use this bathroom and then walk away? Terrible situation.

Terrible experience. Pulled in from a 300 mile drive and they didn't have working restrooms. I tried to ask questions about the drive to the Grand Canyon from there, and the staff couldn't speak enough English to have a conversation!

I drove from LA threw the i5 stopped here at chevron and seen a beautiful lady with blue hair wanted to know her name so i asked the manager soleadad but she didn’t tell me everyone was so nice great costumer service costumers need to appreciate restroom tho very messy and blame it on the workers subway there was good didn’t like i couldn’t see my food 😒😒

I recently visited the Chevron Gas Station on my way back from LA, and my overall experience was less than satisfactory. While it was easy to spot the gas station from the freeway, the surrounding area lacked much variety, with only signs for Subway and Jack In the Box catching our attention. Upon pulling into the station, we noticed that the Subway sandwich store was housed inside. Hoping to use the bathroom, we were met with disappointment as the facilities were far from clean. The dirty floor, non-functional hand dryer, and absence of paper towels left much to be desired in terms of hygiene. After reluctantly using the facilities, we decided to purchase four small bags of chips only to be surprised by the total which was around $13 to $14. The limited options in the area didn't provide much choice, but the overall cost was higher than expected. One positive aspect was the ample parking available at the station. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom and the elevated snack prices significantly dampened our experience. Considering the convenience of the location, it's unfortunate that the Chevron Gas Station failed to meet basic standards of cleanliness and offered overpriced snacks. I hope improvements are made to enhance the overall customer experience in the future.

8/19 at 3:56 pm - Terrible experience. Expected to pay $5 for chips and chocolate, but got charged $10. Cashier dismissed me without a receipt. Had to demand one and found I was paying for his Starbucks vanilla Frappuccino . Clearly intentional. Watch out and always ask for a receipt. Disappointed in how people can be so dishonest.

Came here get gas . Almost $7 a gallon right next to another gas station for $4.89. The bathroom was completely disgusting ! I almost threw up from the smell. It literally smelled like dead duck in there . Was dirty. Too bad. I almost got food from subway till I saw this !

The store seems ok but the bathrooms were a DUMP. 2 out of 3 stalls out of order and the 3rd on its last leg. No towels and the hand blower not working! It makes me wonder how clean they keep the Subway sandwich shop!

This gas station has a Subway inside, too, so you can get sandwiches and also hot coffee . They have bathrooms for customers in case you are traveling

good luck trying to use the women’s bathroom here… had a sign saying “closed for cleaning” i asked them how long, the teenager with dirty fingernails said ten min… ok i wait ten minutes to ask again how long she said “oh idk, until im finished with the customers” ummmmmmm okay ? theres three workers at subway for one customer and but no one cleaning the bathroom where the real line is forming. then she told me to just use the mens…. guess thats what happens when you let a trio of lazy teenagers run the place

Check your credit card charges. We stopped there to get Monkey's Tacos, best tacos. My grandaughter wanted a subway sandwich which I purchased with my credit card. Upon checking my account I noticed the original charge of $7.78 which was right. I also saw another charge $20.09 this amount is being disputed by my bank. I'll continue to stop for our tacos, but never go there again. Gas prices are totally outrageous there. BEWARE!!

I asked the clerk behind the counter Alma said about the Chevron app, and that it doesn't work at this Chevron, and she said "Well, that's something that's not important to me, so it really doesn't matter to me". Great job at finding the most worthless person in this city to work here.

Stayed the night in the parking spaces near the gas station to only wake up to a man screaming for his life, and everyone just watching as my girlfriend and i take charge and rush to try and save him, as everyone and even the employee watching and leaving to continue their job as a man was begging for help. Don't sleep, rest or even eat here as seeing people around doesnt mean your safe, you can and possibly will be the victim chosen and those people will just watch as you bleedout, wont even call the cops or assist by bringing napkins. Just no assistance at all, the only way they helped my girlfriend and I was to let us use the restrooms to wash the blood off

Taking advantage of its location by Stockdale Hwy and I-5, this Chevron is able to charge sky-high gas prices. Skip it as you'll save as much as a $1 per gallon not too far along I-5 either side. To add insult, after filling up with gas, the pumps won't give you a paper receipt and asks you to go in to the store to get it - a common tactic a lot of gas stations do, hoping that you'll buy some overpriced items in their store while you're in there.

If you enjoy paying 1.50 more for gas than you could be paying, stop here ! While you're at it donate $20 to the big oil companies so they can continue to expand and price gouge. Thank God the Sinclair gas station 4 miles north of here has the cheapest gas in the San Joaquin valley. I am so thankful for sinclaire they keep the gas prices in the Bakersfield region competitive. Anywhere there is no sinclair you will find high prices. Do them a favor and pick them , they are the only reason Arco and shell at the next exits have cheap gas. The Sinclair on the east side of the road is cheaper than the one on the west side. Check gas buddy.
