TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. Destroyed my power steering and won't send proof of bumper to bumper inspection before taking my car in for an OIL CHANGE. These people are scumbags and are ran by ignorant, foolish people! Update you guys after my lawsuit has been finished!

if there was a way to put negative stars I would do that for this place. funny how they mess up my car when it was brought in for a simple oil change. they’re only response to that was to not answer my questions, but for them to tell me they will not be doing services with me anymore. not that i wanted them to anyway, they just didn’t want to take the time to answer my question as to why my power steering is now messed up when my car was only brought in for an oil change. The guy was very rude and just hung up on me and the lady doesn’t know what she’s talking about. not to mention the communication sucks, I didn’t hear anything about the car or what was wrong til after the fact when it was time to get my car. save yourself the money and time and do not bring your car to this place, you’re just asking to get screwed over.

I live two hours from Sioux Falls and my car would not start. Chris’s Auto Repair was the most helpful auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. I will be recommending them to anyone I know/or don’t know if they are looking for a to have repairs done. They not only helped me with my vehicle they helped me personally to get to where I need to be since I didn’t have a vehicle to get anywhere! (I dealt with an auto shop back home for at least 6 months for this not wanting to start problem and got no where because there were no codes that showed up, so they didn’t know what to fix) I am highly considering making the drive to have my repairs done at Chris’s! They have no idea how much I appreciate their service and knowledge!!

Sadly this place has gone down hill. They ran my car when there was no oil in it. After doing a diagnostic to find out why that was happening. Not sure why they wouldn't just put some oil in it or communicate at all. Also never found out why the car burns oil. I'll edit to add their response seems like I didn't already tell them everything that they tried to tell me was wrong. I also was there for 4 hours and they told me I needed tires!

The team here is SO helpful, and I've never felt like they're trying to "upsell" me or convince me to pay for something I don't need. They're very responsive, always have great coupons and, when my 4-year-old came along with me, they even gave her an adorable little teddy bear to take home. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I just wanted to say thanks to the team at Chris's Auto Repair....I live 8 hours away and my son goes to college in Sioux Falls and he needed some car repairs. I called Chris's and they took care of it quickly, it was a big relief for me knowing that he was taken care of and it was easy for me ever being over 500 miles away. Thanks again everyone. Mike

I started taking my truck and my wive’s SUV (both 100k+ cars) here for regular maintenance and small issues this past year and have been very pleased with the experiences. The staff is friendly and honest and have Not been pushy when I’ve declined some of the recommended services for another time in the future or for some small things I can do myself. Got new Falken tires on their recommendation for my truck and have been extremely pleased. I also really appreciate that the shop will arrange a Lyft to get you to and from the shop. Great local shop!

The folks at Chris's Auto Repair really helped me out . They had a full docket of cars to repair already, but fit my Michigan car in for a new alternator. I'm in Sioux Falls to help a friend recover from a transplant. Her release was Mon. Amber, Nick & Jr. got a new alternator installed in time for me to get her from the hospital to the post care facility. They exceeded my expectations,

They charged me 189 to open the hood. But is all they did. They ONLY buy parts from their vendor which charges 3X the amount for the part.I can buy a brand new motor from the manufacturer in Germany and ship it to their door for 7500 us dollars. But they ONLY get parts from their vendor. 19,000.00 makes no sense but to rip off the consumer. And then the motor isn't warranted. And if it fails in small print, I have to pay additional 19,000.00 to fix it. Their ratings are from friends and families they know. DONT TRUST THESE PPL. Do your research first.
