Highly recommend giving Emily and the team a call. They worked with us on a deadline and made sure my family was safe to travel over 2500 miles. Thanks to them we made it to my grandmother's funeral. The mechanic was transparent about our vehicle's needs and communicated the why along with the price. Everything was exactly as quoted. We will be loyal customers.

Gone just for inspection they compel me to change brake or said they'll put sticker. Bad service. overcharging. don't recommend. Stay away from them.

They were able to squeeze me in when I was in a pinch. Everywhere else I called said at least 3 days out. Did a great job getting me back on the road. By far the best customer service I've received at an auto place. Emily was fantastic!

Extremely reliable and incredible service when you need it most! Forget the big chain auto repairs shops Chris’s auto actually cares! Ive had two extremely positive experiences here. First time was for something more routine an oil change and clearing a check engine light. Phillip was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and went through exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and how to take preventative measures to stop it from happening again. They were able to get me in same day and were very quick. Prices were very fair as well! Second time was what really solidified me only going with Chris’s auto moving forward. I had a bad charcoal canister which had been misdiagnosed/not properly fixed by a different repair shop. Again Phillip and the team at Chris’s got me in, same day to have it fixed properly. He went through exactly what was wrong with the vehicle, what he would be doing to fix it and locked in the cost BEFORE the work was done. This is a auto repair shop that you can trust and they really go the extra mile to make sure you feel like family. If you’re new to the Sioux Falls area, don’t waste your time at the big chain retailers, head over to Chris’s Auto and ask for Dr. Phillip Pounds!

My primary service vehicle sprang a serious power steering leak and my schedule didn't permit a lot of time to have the issue resolved. They did find the problem with the car, right away, which wasn't what I thought. Was a pretty obvious call. But the quote I got was $1400, there was no you could go this part vs this part. Just 1 est. & we need to order part asap. Took it somewhere else & did get those choices which made my total bill less then half their quote at 680. But I do think the mechanics here are solid, I wouldn't be worried about a fix they made & it is SO Great they have a payment option for the cost of sudden repairs. That's a great service for sure cuz Try as we may we can't always be prepared for something like a new transmission or tie rods.

This place has an awesome atmosphere. I was getting a Pre-Purchase inspection on a vehicle I was interested in and I was given the opportunity to look under my car with the mechanics. I was actually shown what was wrong with the vehicle so I could use it for bargaining. Everyone there was awesome to work with and it had a very “homey” feel overall. I will be getting future repairs done at this shop!

Took my vehicle in to get my alignment adjusted yesterday and I left very happy with the service provided there. I'm a DIY'er who wrenches on my own vehicles for the most part even if I have to drive to Omaha to find a place that will rent a bay with a lift so I can do my own work. That said, I'm not an auto mechanic, far from it, what I don't know easily outweighs what I do know, but I do know enough to have a reasonable discussion with the professional mechanics at a shop about cars, troubleshooting, and doing work on them. With that all in mind I'd like to say that I had a great time chatting with all 3 of the mechanics that were in the shop yesterday, they all left me feeling like I'd be in great hands taking my vehicle to them for anything that I don't want to do or that I am not equipped to do myself. I'm sure I'll be back to let them work on my vehicles if / when the need arises.

We have been to Chris's West many times with a couple vehicles and they are excellent. Everybody I have spoke with from office to shop is very friendly. They take the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. When I call on the phone I can hear the smile in their voices. Emily has handled financing with us and it's a quick easy process.. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone.

You will not find a more knowledgeable shop in the planet. And I know this because I have worked personally with Phil who you would likely be dealing with. He has worked on everything from exotics (Ferrari) to Pinto's. His ability to diagnose and identify the real problem is unbelievable. He won't waste your money on guesses. And he values honesty more than anything else. It is also great to know that you have a good Christian owner who cares more about people than the almighty dollar. To me this is a winning combination and I would recommend these guys too my own family and friends for sure!!!

Best service we were traveling across country when we noticed an oil leak we drove to the nearest dealership and they said it would be 180 to look at it and it would take a few hours we called around and phil got us in within minutes he and the crew had found out the problem right away and had the issue fixed before we would have even got the car in the dealership thank you guys so much your life savers

I had been having several problems with my minivan and replaced several parts but the issues continued. I had taken it to several places but no one could fix the issues. The technician at Chris’s automotive found the issue and fixed it. He took the time to explain the problem in terms that I could understand. They were great, fast and the problems are gone. I like walking away after getting my car fixed and not feeling that I was taken advantage of. It’s also a great feeling knowing that I won’t have to deal with the minivan issues I was having!
