Told me they could check out my van on Friday, they didn’t. So I had to wait until Monday. Then they told me my transmission could not be repaired and I needed a new unit. Their quote was $8000. I took it down the street to a real mechanic who said it could indeed be repaired. Quote was $3200. Never heard of Christ saying “go forth and rip your customers off”. Steer clear.

Excellent service and communication! After being quoted $11k by another company to repair the vehicle, Mr Stohner, at Christian Brothers, was able to identify the true problem (which only ended up costing under $500) and had me back on the road in less than a day!

Had a wheel lug stud replaced. Cost was more than expected but it was done within the morning hour. Christian Brothers Automotive is an excellent repair shop. They get your vehicle in&out pretty fast, repaired right and back on the road. The vehicle repaired was my granddaughter’s and now she knows a good and honest repair shop.

It took me a while to find the exact words to describe my experience with Brian and his team. The best words that come to mind are helpful and truthful. I’m not from San Antonio so trying to find an automotive mechanic without knowing the area and at the last minute was hard. There were so many choices but I got recommended to them by someone. I called and they were able to take me in the same day. They also were able to figured out what was wrong with my car. At the end of my trip, I ended up letting Brian and his team do all the repairs that they recommended and I couldn’t be more grateful. They could have overcharged me or turn me around, but they didn’t. They walked me through every step of the way. Called me with updates. They were transparent with me the whole time. I’m glad that I was able to go with them. If I had to say something bad about them or any improvements from them, it would be that I wish they were also open the weekend. That was the only downside. Truly thankful for Brian and his team.

05 Toyota Tundra. P/S leaking. I wiped down front end underneath to locate. Took the truck to Christian Bros. Tommy called me a few hours later w full diagnosis. Rack pinion needed rebuild. New bushings front n rear. New gas shocks rear. Checked engine light for codes. Tested catalytic converters. All fixed . It was quick 3 days. I'm impressed. Good clean work. I'm a former auto mechanic. I highly recommend this shop. Truck is smooth and solid. They re aligned front end as well.very happy . About a week after, Christian Bros had them check rough spot idle and on acceleration. I bought this truck very used. I don't know it's history. The mechanics here checked for codes. After 8 new. Coils and plugs. Flushed out injectors the rough at times idle disappeared. The acceleration smooth as silk. My mileage has increased from 20 to 25 mpg. Tommy over viewed the repair as it went along. In times where everything has a code from these computers. Just bring your vehicle in. These techs are on top.

Brought in my Ram 3500 to get the A/C fixed. The whole system ended up needing replaced. They were quick to diagnose my truck and get it back nice and cool the following day. Fair pricing. I used to work in the Automotive industry and I can say this shop has their stuff together!! Highly recommend.

I went to Chriistian Brothers for an oil change. It was quick and I waited in a comfortable waiting room. We had been hearing a strange sound, thinking it was something with a tire, but with their camera they discovered and showed me a more dangerous problem which they will repair next week. Hate to find those things but was glad they did. Pleased I went there instead of a drive-thru oil change.

Really appreciated the top-notch professional service at Christian Brothers Automotive. The office is tidy and really nice, the staff professional and friendly, and the service was great. I brought my vehicle in for new brakes. They quickly and thoroughly inspected my vehicle, sending me a clear digital report of everything they recommend fixing. The software made it really easy to select the services that I wanted performed and decline what I did not want them to do at this time. Would highly recommend!
