Too expensive, I went to get a quote, and the price was over 700 dollars... Went to another shop and the price was 168.00. Quite a big difference. They look for more things to give attention to, just to raise the price.

I received a $2500 “quote” from a dealership but the entire time when I came here it was a $400 problem! I love how they actually took time and looked into my problem and diagnosed it here. I am actually big on dealerships but Christian brothers just got a new customer! I love how there work is also warranted . This was my first time going here and I can’t express how happy I am to have came here! They are very professional and I know people say that all the time but what I mean by that is they actually gave me updates with pictures to go alone with it! Before moving on and fixing my actual problem they made sure it was ok with pricing as well. Dropped it off one day and was finished the next! Thank u so much for your service to the community it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I don't have enough words to express how pleased I am with the service that I and my daughter received from this establishment!!! My daughter needed a number of repairs done on her car and the work was done efficiently and expertly. But, the cherry on top was the top notch customer service I received from Mark. Every CSR I spoke with was courteous and professional, but Mark went above and beyond in the way that he kept me apprised of everything that was being done, as well as succeeding at keeping the costs low. Since I live out of state, I appreciated the care that he took to see that everything that needed to be done was done. I am one satisfied customer, indeed!

He helped me and my mother understand exactly what was needed to fix my car and worked with my warranty company extensively to ensure I got the most bang for my buck. I was driving to the golf course on Friday 7:15 when I hit a very bad pot hole. It blew out two tires on front and rear passenger side. I knew I was near a shop that I have taken my car for years. That shop was Christian Brothers of Germantown. After getting there met with Evan who knew exactly where this pot hole was as he had hit it a few days earlier. The tires were ordered. Evan gave me a courtesy ride to golf course a few miles away. After golf a friend I played with drove me to CBA. Evan informed me he found the tires but they wouldn’t be there till 3:30. He offered to drive me home and return to get me when car was ready. Instead of this I decided to wait it out as I live a 1/2 hour away. Four hours later the tires did arrive. While waiting all afternoon, three other drivers came in with blowouts with that same pothole! At 5:30 the car was ready. My car has AWD and all four had to be replaced. Evan, the staff, and the owner Kim are great people who truly care about people and the services they offer. I believe CBA is the most professional, kind, and high integrity company for auto repairs! I trust and highly recommend CBA of Germantown!

Terrible service with incompetent mechanics and uneducated staff members. I should have known better after multiple friends and family warned me about them. I also had property stolen from my car back in 2022 when i had work done then at this location. Im guessing a mechanic stole it. I tried to remain loyal, but they just aren’t deserving of loyal customers. Never will i spend another dime with them again. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE BEFORE SPENDING MONEY WITH THEM. Always consult with true professionals in the field before consulting with them!

Hands down, the best Automotive shop I've visited & I've visited over 50 in TN. The facilities stay clean & the staff are very accomodating. I had issues with my truck & other shops gave me the run around, another shop suggested I get the transmission rebuilt & charged me 5k. I took it to CB for a second opinion, they were able to pinpoint the major problems with great detail & updated me every step of the way through automated text messages & emails so i didnt have to answer my phone at work. These guys saved me 5k. The trans was not the issue. I highly recommend them! They care & they will get the job done right. I even got a 3 year warranty. I will be going back for future maintenance, they have earned my trust & my business. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

If you need really good service they are the ones to go to. I have a 08 Ford Mustang, they fixed it right up. This weekend I went to Nashville and back to Memphis car was running sweet. Thank you guys again.

After Lander's and Dobbs flat out turned me down to fix my "older than 10 years old" F150, Dobbs suggested Christian Brothers. Glad they did. Christian Brothers fixed what was wrong (stripped spark plug threads), another thing I just wanted done (strut shocks and springs), plus a thing needed fixing that I never told em about (fuel pressure sensor) even though it didn't fix the small issue I'd been having. All that for less than $2000. If you think that's expensive, you're just gonna have to learn to work on your OWN vehicle. A dealership would been more and kept my truck longer. Most decent, comparable prices you'll ever see.

Went for a quote for clutch replacement. They said $2,300 claiming bleeding the trans fluid and labor would make it that expensive. The job is not even a thousand dollars at multiple other auto shops. This is a huge scam.

7/2/24 UPDATE: I spoke with the General Manager, Jake, and he was genuine in providing relief for my experience. It was fair, exactly what I wanted to make the experience right and I didn’t have to ask for it. I wish I had received this at the time of service, but better late than never. I appreciate Jake’s call, ownership, and resolve for this issue. I visited this location a few times and recently had the worst experience. I went for a repair last week, specifically replacement of an o2 sensor, dropped my car off and had to call to see if it was ready. They provided the shuttle service which is awesome. However, as soon as I got my car back I noticed that my air conditioner was blowing hot air. I proceeded to call several times around 4pm and no one answered the phone or returned my call. I tried again the next morning and told them what was going on b/c this didn't happen until after I got my car back. I dropped the car back off for them to recheck their work and had to call again at the end of the day to see if it was ready. I was told it was nothing that they've done. I went elsewhere to get an inspection and was told that my a/c compressor pigtail was disconnected and it was underneath (close proximity) to the o2 sensor. That cost $280 for someone else to tell me that after CB "rechecked" their work. I went back to CB to tell them about the inconvenience, showed pictures, and an employee checked with the technician about the service performed on my car. The first time he checked back with me he said the technician unplugged the a/c compressor pigtail to get to the o2 sensor. The next time he came back and said "he might have, we don't know and can't determine". They took no ownership in what happened and did not try to provide any type of relief for my inconvenience or money spent on finding out what they did wrong. Do not waste your time here unless you want a group of people that won't take ownership and won't cater to the customer's concerns. I'm unfortunately out of more money for something they did not complete and failed to correct during the "recheck".

I was from out of town and needed my car fixed so I can get back home. My tire rod needed to be replaced. I received my quote before 10:00am, with no updates throughout the day unless I called for an update. When I went to pick up my car everything seemed to be fine. With in 30 minutes or less part of my under carriage detached and was rubbing on tires and ground. I do not recommend Christian Brothers Automotive for service at the Sonic Drive location for your automotive needs, but maybe at another location would give you better service. I only chose this location because I was the closest to me. The tow truck driver tried to suggest another location.

I took my 2013 Chevy Impala in on 12/27/2023 and the customer service was good. I made an appointment online which I highly recommend. My car had a Transmission Control Module (TCM) error and a check engine light. The associate took my information and the details related to my car. I received a text a few hours later that contain a full inspection report. I like that I was able to communicate with the technician via chat on my phone. They also sent a link that had detailed pictures and videos of the issues that they found which was really impressive. It would have been nice for the guy that took my order to explain that the process a bit more to let me know that I would receive pictures via text and that I could communicate via text messages. This is a really nice feature! You do not have to call unless you want to. I had several questions about the inspections and they responded via text within minutes which was great. If a repair is done, you also have the option to have them save the old parts for you which I didn't know was an option until I got my electronic receipt. I would also like to see Christian Brothers email the quotes and receipt to the customers for future reference. The quote that I received had 7 jobs. They had pictures of an oil leak, water pump issue and other issues. I approved 3 of 7 jobs via text message for a total of $947. The 4 jobs I declined totaled around $6,000. The labor is a premium but I like the fact that they did not pressure me into getting anything done. It was up to me to approve via my phone. Overall, it was top notch customer service from the beginning to the end. The issues that I paid for were addressed. I highly recommend this location.

We lost our mechanic of almost 30 years to cancer. About a year since my first experience with Christian Brothers Sonic. It has proven to be an exceptional Auto Repair Center. We have several Motor Vehicles constantly on the road. From regular maintenance through an engine replacement, Christian Brothers Sonic has approached our issues with thoroughness, capability and integrity. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive encountered. The great difference between Christian Brothers Sonic Drive and virtually everyone else that I've experienced in Memphis the last 25 years is the way they do actually stand behind the work.

$2300 to misdiagnose problem 2 times finally found the issue and wanted $3000 to replace a $400 module. They Lost parts from under the hood and created another issue with parking sensor. When asked about it David told me to drive it for a while and it would go away. When I called back about missing parts and sensor I was told that I would get a call back in a few minutes... HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE!!!

Don’t let the friendly disposition and God-fearing name fool you, these incompetent and dishonest people will screw you with a smile on their face. This shop misdiagnosed my electrical issue as a “parasitic draw”. This after changing my battery and allegedly testing my alternator, which they charged me an outrageous price of over $500. Keep in mind that the battery price is around $140 and that labor should not have taken more than 10-15 minutes. Fast forward a few months, and in spite of me following their guidance and disconnecting my battery after every use (I live out of town and don’t drive it often), I was once again stranded with a destroyed battery. I asked for them to make things right on the screw-job and provide me with a replacement battery, they refused. I replaced my own battery and drove the truck to Ron Archer’s auto, who correctly diagnosed my problem as a faulty alternator, where it was fixed for a reasonable price. Take your business there. The only thing “Christian” about these folks is their name.

I had a bad experience at Christian Brothers Automotive on Winchester. The staff was nice and helpful, but the prices were outrageous. They gave my truck back with a new error code, indicating a misfire on one of the cylinders, but this code did not occur previously. I will not be returning, and you have been warned.

I had an emergency while driving my car on the interstate. It started overheating, and tried to shut down. Thankfully, I was close to Christian brothers on Winchester. Brought my car there, and had a hard time finding a parking spot. This is probably because Christian Brothers is a great auto shop. I frequently use the Collierville location, and trust them. I received the same professional service at the Winchester location. Mark was the man who communicated with me daily, and kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle. He went above and beyond to try to help the repair resolve as quickly as possible. The staff was very friendly, and I'm thrilled to have my car back, running well :) I experienced a quick turnaround, as it was in the middle of a holiday weekend. Highly recommend the Winchester location

We were on a trip far from home when our vehicle started making a noise like the transmission was going to grind itself into oblivion. Even though Christian Brothers, like every other mechanic garage between Nashville and Memphis, were booked solid for three weeks to a month out, they made time to service our vehicle. Special thanks to Evan who works the front desk. Evan provided Ritz Carlton level customer service, from carefully listening to our description of the problem to helping us find a rental car and offering transportation if nescecary to keeping us updated on the vehicle's status, to continuing to research the problem as the vehicle continued to make the noise after the first fix and getting us in touch with a Christian Brothers near our home to complete the service under their warranty. (I worked in the food service industry for over a decade and Evan gave better customer service than many of the people I worked with over the years.) Christian Brothers' mechanics fixed a leak in the steering system that GM mechanics had overlooked as a minor issue that they did not think was the cause of the problem, and when we got back home they replaced the new steering pump they installed in Memphis with an updated steering pump (GM has since redesigned the pump because even just a tiny bit of air in the system that can be impossible to bleed out was the cause of the problem noise). For almost a month Evan was in contact until the problem was truly solved. When Christian Brothers says they are trying to re-invent the mechanic garage experience they aren't kidding and they, at least in my opinion, have done exactly that. From start to finish Christian Brothers impressed and their high standards of care, cleanliness, and customer service was the same no matter what state we were in, but Evan really went above and beyond and I hope the company recognizes his professionalism and rewards him for doing such a great job representing and delivering the company's ideal of customer service.
