Got our car done in October of last year whilst we had the money. Went to use it when it started to get warm and of course it did not work even in the slightest bit. We informed the owner and were basically met with negativity and denied any further service. You would think that after paying nearly 200$ they would have reevaluated their shorty job...would recommend going to somewhere more professional.

I went to Chuck's on the recommendation of another mechanic who didn't have the schedule or equipment to do the repairs I needed. I cannot say enough praise for this shop. I read all the recent 1 star reviews and I just can't see how they're real. I was taken seriously, the shop listened to me, and the labor was half that of any other shop in town. Secondly, I brought them a 22-year-old vehicle that I had bought just a month earlier asking to get it tuned up, aligned, put a new timing belt in so I could have it in my maintenance records, and a few minor repairs. They looked it over and recommended a clutch and front control arms, normal things for an older car. A week later they said they found a bent tie-rod that they hadn't caught in their first inspect and it would need to be replaced. I asked how much it would cost for the fix, and they didn't charge a dime. "We didn't catch it in our inspection, so that's on us." Are you kidding me?! I've had horrible experiences with predatory shops in the past ranging from flippant attitudes to outright fraud. Chuck's Auto did nothing wrong and missing something on a first pass is understandable, but to take ownership of that and just fix it for me had me dumbfounded. The turn-around was quick, communication solid, and more importantly I felt like they cared about my new-to-me car almost more than I did. Edit: I just read more of their negative reviews. I want you to look at these accounts. Most have fewer than 20 reviews ever, many less than 10. They're absolutely not accurate. Look at the 4 and 5 star reviews. We're real people with hundreds of reviews and decades of comments. Support this local business with peace of mind.

Hopefully this will be our LAST mechanic. We've been going for 2 years and the prices are better. The actual attention to what's going on with our vehicles... absolutely the best we've have in years and years.

I have had many cars aligned here and couldn't be happier. Last week I dropped off my 97 4runner to have suspension work and an alignment done. This thing was real scary to drive. Mike gave me a call a day later and already had everything figured out. His quote was even less than expected. Him and John quoted me exactly what it needed and didn't try to sell me a bunch of parts it didn't need. I just picked it up today and it drives like a dream! I've never felt it drive this well. Mike and John were very honest and quick to get the job done at a reasonable price. It's hard to find good shops in town, especially with honest guys working there, and this is one of them. I will be using Chuck's for all of my suspension and alignment needs going forward. If anyone is in need of quality affordable work done by great honest guys, bring your vehicle here and talk to Mike. They will take care of you for sure!

Easy to find good pricing but I was there last week asked how much an alignment would cost it was super reasonable then asked how long the vehicle would be needed he said approx an hour and I would be done I’m thinking ok this will work then show up this morning for my 8 am appointment only to be told it would be done around noon like really why u have me come in at 8am if u just going to let it sit half the day so they are not truthful or informative to their clients

Had car towed to chucks as they had installed starter not even a year ago and they said it was again, the starter. But this time they had my car for a week and kept telling me they couldn't find the right starter and every day I was told it would be tomorrow. I finally had it towed to another shop. I bought a starter at auto zone and the mechanic installed it and had it running within 4 hours. I had to rent a car which cost me 600.00 and the extra tow was 100.00. so, chucks auto cost me 700.00 due to their negligence. Also, they kept my starter without telling me. I had to find out from the new mechanic. I would not recommend this shop to anyone as I feel they just kept lieing to me because either they didn't know what they were doing or just didn't want to mess with it. I feel they should reimburse me for the rental and the extra tow. But we know that won't happen. Bad business. They need to give me my starter they kept so I can at least get $40 for the core charge!!!

I couldn’t get help here with car repairs - they just kept rescheduling the visit and they couldn’t figure out the price for the diagnostics... a sad experience.

It's pretty rare for me to post reviews, but I felt obligated this time, because I know people are always skeptical of auto repair shops. I scheduled an appointment today to take care of a brake light issue. It wasn't working, but the bulb appeared fine and the fuses were fine, so I thought it was a wiring thing. It turns out it was a bulb connection issue after all. They called me about 10 minutes later and said to come pick it up with the new bulb, no charge. Instead, I asked if they could take care of a few other things instead, and they were able to squeeze me in for a new battery, new air filter, cabin filter, brake fluid exchange, and coolant exchange. Altogether, it was right around $400. They didn't even charge labor to install the new stuff. Seriously?? This was far better than the dealership I visited last week that totally screwed up the appointment. Chuck's, I'll be back.

They tried to charge me $1300 to get my AC fixed when I asked how he told me it was 8 hours in labor and $800 dollars in parts.

I recently took my Prius to the shop. They saved me a ton of money on repairs. A friend of mine was taking me to pick up my car when hers broke down on the way there. Took 2 hours to repair and we were both happily out the door. I have NO problem trusting them at all. They do great work and their customer service is outstanding. They also care about the customer. My husband went here last year to get his A/C converted in our old jeep. It took 3 multi-day drop offs before it was "fixed", so we paid, and the moment we went to leave something popped and all the freon spewed out. They said they'd call once they had time to figure out the issue. They thought we needed another new piece but couldn't find it in any of the stores and asked us to look as well. After a few days we couldnt find it in stock anywhere and because we paid we weren't getting the follow ups we would have if we were still a customer that needed to pay. We were out $900 and no working A/C.

I called to get a price quote for changing bushings on a 1993 f150, and was told that they won’t work on anything older than 1996. If they don’t understand that a ‘93 is exactly the same as a ‘96 (same exact parts, same exact layout, same exact truck) then I wouldn’t trust them to touch my vehicle with even a scrubby brush.

Our son's car died the night before graduation from the Air Force Academy. We coordinated over the phone the morning of graduation, had the car towed immediately after and back on the road in 2 days! What a life saver! Kept us on our schedule to return home from Illinois. Very professional, called with updates and delivered on time.

They really helped us out and they where really good, they didn't do anything other than what we asked, and where very respectful and kind! Would definitely recommend this place! Well untill.they supposedly fix the problem to only have the same problem continue to happen, and then say we can't get to your vehicle again for a bother week,and you can't leave it here,. We have now been without our vehicle for almost 3weeks. Their fix is broken and they won't fixit.

WORST DIAGNOSTICIANS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Chucks Auto used to be a reputable local mechanic shop... After my recent experiences, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately I did, (my mistake) and it was a horrible experience for her, who is 72 years old. She went in for a cooling system diagnostic (over heating issues) and an oil change. They "checked it over" and told her the cooling system was fine, no problems. 10 minutes down the road she overheated on the side of the road. After a 30 second inspection (by me) I found a crack in the radiator. Apparently they didn't do a pressure check or they would have found the problem right away. Before that happened, I took my Mini Cooper in for a coolant diagnostic (I was leaking coolant from somewhere). I was told they "fixed" the leak but once I got home, I had a puddle of coolant under my car. I took it back and asked if they pressure checked the cooling system. The answer was no. "They didn't have the correct connection to test my vehicle." I went back (my mistake) with my new car (rear suspension issues). After they "fixed" it, they told me the part they changed wasn't the actual problem and that I would have to pay an additional 400$ to fix the correct part. I gave this shop way too many chances, but never again. WORST DIAGNOSTICIANS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Went here for a short notice pre-purchase inspection. Was quick, courteous, thorough, and a great deal, when all other shops were quite overpriced and booked into the following week. Pointed out some things worth knowing, allowed me to buy the car with confidence
