I can't tell you how pleased I was with the expedience, professionalism and politeness of your mechanics. Albert Markos checked me in immediately and was done in 25 minutes. Very impressed with the price too. GREAT JOB! My dog Sir Lancelot even got great treatment. We both say thank you.

First time here. I got a Smog done. Sam was fast effient kind and clearly loves his job. I sat next to a guy David who had been coming here 20 years. He loves and trusts these guys as they tell the truth and do not upsell. Was there 15min. SMOG CERT in hand tipped them $5.

This has been the worst place to take a car that I have ever visited. I went to get a rear light bulb changed. He told me to leave it. Then he called me saying that I owed 180 for the evaluation. That if he changed the light because it was broken, he wouldn't charge me this. I ended up paying USD 1000 for a job that cost US 100 at the most. The manager is a very dishonest person. NEVER come here, they will rob you. Later I need it a Smog Check and went in front to 3B Smog Check Station, the service was great, so go better there.

I'm always very happy with the service from Clairemont Auto Care, Albert and the team. I don't trust anyone else with my vehicles. They do it all, smog, alignments, repairs, tires and gave some of the most knowledgeable employees around.

I’ve been buying reliable disposable vapes here for over a year and the staff are usually very helpful and friendly. Today, they sold me a defective vape that completely stopped working the first time I hit it. I returned about 20 minutes later to hopefully get a new one and was very disappointed by how I was treated. I feel scammed and sad that I’ll have to find a new smoke shop. Hopefully they can review their policy on refunding or replacing defective vapes when there isn’t a manager present.

Love these guys! They’re so helpful and awesome! I’ve gone like 3 times for the emissions inspections and then we ended up needing them for some fluid changes and a rear light change Super fair prices, super speedy, highly recommend!

My daughter's engine light went on. I roll up to the shop and ask how much it would be just to use the computer for a diagnostic code. Guy was slimy saying $150 minimum because it's a complicated process, And come back in 4 hours. Blah blah blah. I've worked on cars before and laughed and walked away. Went to the auto parts store down the street and they let you borrow the car diagnostic computer to plug into your car so you can diagnose the code. Gave the guy behind the counter$20 for being so helpful. It was the coils in the vehicle that needed to be replaced. That's all I needed to know. In short, I would avoid this auto shop. They were shady from the first interaction... it tells you a lot when mechanics act like this from the start.

Did my smog check here. I saw they have a deal of smog check and certification for about 40 dollars. Didn’t have to make an appointment but just walked in on a Saturday around noon. They finished the check within 45 minutes. Great service with unbeatable price.

I've been getting smog checks from this place for years. Ivan and the staff are great, helpful, courteous, and professional. They smog quickly and get you on your way promptly. I no longer live in clairemont but I still go by for gas, lottery and smog checks.

Fast, friendly and efficient. I called to ask about their SMOG service ($50) and I called when I arrived. During both calls, I was met with a friendly voice who welcomed me to come by. They accepted my car promptly and the wait for the test was short (only 30 minutes) especially during rush hour. I’ve always passed this place on Genesee and now I can recommend it. Thank you all for the help and for the great customer service (:

I came to ask how much it costs to replace brake pads on a Ram 3500 - they said 160, which is already more expensive than everyone else. I said, ok, but I need to leave the trailer somewhere, otherwise they don’t have space. I left the trailer, 30 minutes passed and now they say that the pickup is too big and the price will be 280. Unscrupulous people thought that since I spent time dropping the pickup, I wouldn’t go anywhere and would pay. I'll never stop by again.

I have used Clairemont auto care as my primary mechanic for decades. Over the years I have had many different cars, trucks and SUV’s and they have always come thru with solutions to my problems at an affordable cost. I recommend getting your vehicle serviced here if you want an honest mechanic at a price you can afford.

Service was prompt and quick, performing a SMOG TEST. A coupon made the price reasonable and they made a great recommendation that I visit the nearby AAA location to complete the annual registration renewal. That had no cost for AAA members and I was immediately provided with the documents and license plate sticker.

Avoid this place at all costs! They are scammers! They held my car for months to fix an issue that was covered under my extended warranty. Without authorization, they did way more work than was necessary to charge my warranty company (which didn't really affect me, but was still a bit dishonest). Then, once I got my car back it was clear that they had not repaired the car properly. The warranty company inspected the car and determined that this shop had not done the repair properly, and therefore was required to repair it once again. This shop contacted me and lied and told me that the warranty company would not be covering the second repair, and that I would have to pay out of pocket. When I contacted the warranty company to tell them what this shop had told me, the warranty company was shocked and repairpal was prepared to terminate their relationship with this shop. This shop also lied to me constantly about the status of the repair. When I confronted the owner of the shop about all of these events, he threatened not to repair my car even though he was obligated to under his agreement with the warranty company, and it was his shop's mistakes that had led to further failures in the car. Eventually the warranty company forced the shop to make the repairs. Now, a year later, I am still finding mistakes caused by this shop's shoddy workmanship. Worse than that was each of the lies and misrepresentations. I have also seen them rip off other customers as I was waiting, and it seemed like everyone in their office had some sort of issue caused by their lies. The biggest mistake I ever made was coming to this shop!
