Short Review: Prompt Service, Professional, Kind/Friendly Staff, Knowledgeable, Clean, Safe Detailed Story: I received a repair order for my break lights from a police officer. I got the work done and just needed to find an Authorized Maryland Inspection Station. I called a local place which I will not name and they said they no longer have and inspector there. I called another local shop which I will also not name but they said they are booked until Monday (today is Friday). I just need someone to check that my break lights are working, and a signature. I called Clark Auto. The lady on the phone was very kind and said I could certainly come in today anytime during their working hours. Afterwards, my boy had an unexpected dental emergency which had to take priority for the morning. I got to Clark Auto around 2pm on a Friday and I am impressed to have still been seen promptly and treated kindly and professionally on a Friday. I can understand the other two places and their limitations on helping me. I am just glad that thanks to Clark Auto, I was able to walk in and have my vehicle inspected same day since it was weighing heavy on me, until it got done. I was recommended this place but I’m not really sure why, they did the job; but I was way overcharged. Not to mention the typical “we found all these extra things you should get fixed”, type of phone call. It’s unfortunate I was expecting a different experience from a nice small local business I was hoping to support.

Went in for just an oil change and got charged for a safety inspection that I never asked for. They changed me a lot of money for the up charges. If I recommended them to you over the last 5 years I'm so so sorry. I thought they were honest. Far from it.

Always friendly and very accommodating. They've always seemed to be trustworthy and I've never had the feeling they were trying to tack on extra charges.

I came here for a state inspection. Paul was simply amazing, and very professional. He explained to me in detail, on what needed to be done to my car, and fixed the issues right away. I recommend Clark Auto to any and everyone. Their prices are very reasonable .Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

Always a great experience with Clark’s Auto. I’ve taken 3 cars here for state inspections and they have quick and easy to get done and feel they give me the most honest feedback on my car. Often time tough to find an appointment it cancellations happen occasionally so good to be on the standby if close by.

Paul is the real deal. I had gone here for my state inspection which was quick and easy. I had brought my car in the following week to see if he could fix the plastic falling off from under my car and he took it back and fixed it for FREE. I couldn't believe it. I will certainly be coming back for all my car needs. Excellent experiences so far

Purchased my assembly and motor from 1A auto and took the part there to be installed. Very helpful and charged just for labor. Definitely will use the service again

Went there for a oil pan gasket leak or so I was told from another shop which quoted me almost $1000! I went there with my Maxima and I got the real problem fixed for a little over $100! Thanks for being an honest repair shop and you have gain a customer for life!

I've had my vehicle serviced at Clark's for the last 4 years. The bottom is is, they excellent mechanics that are honest and perform quality work. I only take my car to Clark's because good , honest mechanics are hard to come by. Plus their prices are reasonable.
