I've known Chris Smith for a number of years and he's always the person I can trust to take my vehicles to! The last job I needed I called a couple other mechanic shops that weren't even comfortable fixing it..it was around 15 hours of labor. Chris was able to fix it and made it as affordable for me as he could. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Took my 2007 Santa Fe in due to the back hatch would not open. Was greeted by Chris and his wife, explained my Dilemma gave them the keys and in a few days picked the car up with a working back hatch. Moses (The mechanic) showed me the part that was defective and explained how it worked.Don’t think you could find a more honest, reliable or knowledgeable mechanic shop.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience. My wife and I have a 2021 Kia K5, purchased from Fredy Kia in 2020, our lives have been nothing but hell since. But that’s another review for another day. That being said, when our dealership refused to honor our warranty, not only did Chris make sure our warranty was honored, he went above and beyond in assuring our car left much better than we left it. We brought our car in with an A/C issue (looking only to get that issue fixed, assuming we couldn’t afford to get the other plethora of issues we had fixed) and left with working A/C, new door handles, and he was able to resolve our check engine light that our dealership “didn’t see and couldn’t fix”… Our steering no longer pulls or shakes, amongst a few other things he managed to resolve. All things our dealership absolutely would not even attempt to repair for us without charging entirely too much, regardless of our warranty. I cannot say enough positive things. From beginning to end, our experience was nothing but stress free and easy. To make it simple, Chris made a customer for life and because of this shop alone, my children now ride in a much safer, air conditioned vehicle. Honest, thorough shops like this are hard to come by and I couldn’t be more grateful that we found them! 10/10 will recommend any chance we get!

Chris and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. I recommend the body shop services. However, make sure you inspect your vehicle inside and out with a representative. Be sure to write down the mileage on the vehicle also. Take photos if necessary. I did not do this, and have noticed some damage to the interior, both front seat belts not operating as they did before service. Caveat emptor.

Many thanks to Chris at Clearlake Collision & Auto for replacing my passenger side mirror (whole housing assembly) on my Acura. Chris is very professional at what he does and I was able to get my car back in a reasonable amount of time. When I picked her up, she was ALL nice and clean. He also allowed me to still be able to feed my family afterwards. I'm sure we all can attest to what would've happen if we had gone to a DEALERSHIP, so BIG ups to Clearlake Collision and Auto on a job well done.

Clear Lake Collision and Auto replaced the faulty evaporator core along with necessary AC parts in our 2014 Toyota 4runner using all OEM parts. This is a huge job involving removing the entire dash, support beam, front seats, and center console. The job was done efficiently and professionally. It was not a cheap repair, but considering the amount of work involved was more than reasonably priced. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them and will most likely use them in the future if needed.

DO NOT come here. They took a very long time to fix my vehicle . I was estimated 8 days but it took a month and a half to fix my vehicle. When I did come to pick up my car I was told the wait would be 10 minutes, but we were in the waiting for over an hour. When we finally went to pay and the payment went though the employee helping me told me he tested positive for covid. We were in the waiting room for an hour and in close contact with that employee. We were supposed to visit a family member afterwards with pneumonia, but because of that interaction we weren’t able to visit that family member. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I called the owner and he did not seem to care about what I was telling him and he was protecting his employee who had told me he has covid. Overall this was a horrible experience and they wasted my time and my money. Edit: The owner did call me and apologize for everything. The car did turn out great and they did a good job fixing the body and alignment of the vehicle. I do appreciate the apology.

I drive a Lexus LX which has several features that make it different from most cars to work on. Most mechanics struggle with this vehicle. I took it to Chris and immediately was confident that everything would be done right. He went over the entire car and found a few things that needed attention which weren't obvious.
