These people are scamming customers - keeping $10,000 and not returning the vehicles when asked. They are out to pocket money and run with it. DO NOT COME HERE DOR BUSINESS! The owners are also rude whenever you try to hold the. Accountable for their fraudulent behavior.

Knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Doesn’t want to just sell or slap something on and send it down the road. Lots of “diesel” shops sell the same plug in devices without knowing or understanding of what they do and most importantly convey what a vehicle will do after to the customer. Royal is a great shop that I’ll return to

Can't say enough about this shop. I bought a truck off a former customer of them and come to find out the engine was bad. The owner pulled up the paperwork showing that the guy who sold me the truck knew the engine was bad. They did rebuild the engine for me and I have had zero issues so far. The owner Tom (he owned a shop up here in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico before moving to El Paso) still checks up on my truck even drove all the way from El Paso to give it a 3 month follow up inspection (I would have not had any issue going down to El Paso to him). Very happy and I plan on using this company even if it means I have to take my truck 2 hours to El Paso. Its hard to find a good mechanic that knows what he's doing.

Can’t say enough how glad I was to find a diesel mechanic to work on my Cummins. My truck was constantly stalling out and running rough occasionally. I took my truck to other diesel mechanics in town and it turned into them just throwing parts at it. Tom actually diagnosed the issue and come to find out my fan clutch was the issue. It’s been a week since and haven’t had a single issue. He also recommended other upgrades to get more out of my truck in the future. Will definitely be back!

I brought my F350 in with a small coolant leak. Tom diagnosed the problem on the spot, ordered the parts, gave me a quote and we scheduled an appointment for the job. No muss, no fuss, no drama. Just solid diesel mechanic professionalism. I couldn’t be happier with the work. Highly recommended.

Im giving them 5 stars because they never once gave me a run around. There were some issues but the owner had no issue with doing whatever to make it right without hesitation. Really wasnt even their fault. A lot of shops would just give you the finger and send you down the road. Great customer service.

The best. If not one of the best diesel mechanics I've been to. We drive a school bus and they were super accommodating. Communication was good, they are super busy though so have patience. The work was excellent. Prices are fair for how expensive diesel mechanics usually are. and they fixed a separate issue free of charge without me mentioning anything. Great guys. Shop is small but I would recommend them over anyone in elephant butte And T or C for diesel work. Got work done twice from them. Been across most of the country and these definitely are the best. Very friendly as well.

Waste of time. Almost 7 weeks and still didn't fix the problem. Tom Alexander is a complete liar. Diesel work go elsewhere. Do not even bother coming here. You will lose time and money. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Dishonest, no integrity, unrighteous just a over all server of inequity..

Brought my 2010 Subaru Forester into Royal Auto and Diesel Services for a check up after a 5,000 mile road trip. Tom looked it over and discovered my car needed a new timing belt. I am so thankful that he found the cracked, worn belt before it broke on it's own. The service was excellent and the price was fair. And Cynthia did my oil change plus gave me a ride home and picked me up. My car and I received the royal treatment! I highly recommend Royal Auto and Diesel Services!

Friendly & honest. Knowledgeable about Diesel engines. Replaced my fuel filter and did an oil change; although they overfilled my oil by a quart, and didn’t test drive the vehicle before returning it to me, they were responsive and drained a quart upon the engine warning I found, and checked in with me to be sure everything was ok.

I have two vehicles, both with major issues. I took them to Royal Auto and Tom discussed the options with me and provided reasonable estimates. He clearly knows his stuff, and Cynthia gave me a ride home when I needed it! Unfortunately, one vehicle needed so much work I gave it to my brother-in-law and the parts I ordered for the other vehicle still haven't arrived due to the tornadoes and bad weather (according to UPS tracking) But I will definitely contact Royal Auto in the future when I need work done on my car -- and I highly recommend Tom as a knowledgable mechanic who is able to explain concept problems in plain English. I really appreciate that.

My 1988 Chev. G20 Van needed lots of TLC. Tom and his help provided very professional and caring help. Too many things to list, but all were performed well and the Van works great at 75+ mph on the Interstate now. No smoke, no backfires, no groaning up hill.

Tom is Amazing! I’m SO happy to have found Royal Automotive. I dropped my Jeep off, and Cynthia gave me a ride back home.
