Fabian has been my mechanic for quite some time, we're talking maybe over 8 years and I live far away, but when it's really worth it, I'm willing to drive from the suburb to Chicago, just to have Fabian fix my cars and/or give them the necessary maintenance. What I like about Fabian is that he always warns me of any other failures that my car may need in the future. Of course, that happens if he can notice it, and that also depends on the owner. Personally, as soon as I notice something strange, I don't wait and call Fabian. For me my car is my work tool, if I don't have my car I can't go to work.

Fabian was a GREAT help to us when we really needed it. I live in Wisconsin and my husband and I were visiting family in Chicago for the 4th of July holiday. My check engine light was on and my GMC Terrain turned off while we were on the road in the middle of traffic. We managed to get it started but it was shaky and felt like it was going to turn off again. Luckily we made it to Auto Zone where they plugged it in to check for a code. Looked like a timing issue but the guy there was not completely sure so he recommended taking it to CMS Auto Repair which was just a few minutes away. Fabian looked at it and right away diagnosed that it was most likely the Intake and Exhaust valve timing sensors. We left my vehicle there and he was able to replace the sensors and have my vehicle running a few hours later that same day. This was clutch timing for me as the next day was the 4th and they would be closed and we were headed back to WI on the 5th! Fabian was super nice, so helpful and fairly priced too. I’m really hoping not to have an emergency car issue again when I’m visiting in Chicago, but if it does happen, I would definitely go back to CMS!

Fabian went above and beyond to fit me into their already tight schedule and recharged my AC for a fair price. I’ll be using them again, though hopefully won’t need to anytime soon.

Flexible hours, amazing staff, value pricing. Fabian went well above and beyond and delivered an amazing experience when my catalytic converter was stolen. They worked with my insurance company to make sure it was done right, in a timely manner. They did such a great job, i returned 5 months later when it was stolen again.

I had to drive my spare vehicle, which was not passing the emissions test. Fabian went out of his way to fix the problem and took it to the emissions test. There is no other mechanic who would go out their way to do that. My car passed, and I'm still driving it. Just did the oil change. It's been a couple of months since fixing the problem to doing the oil change. So, I tell you Fabian is honest and has a reasonable price.

Be warned! This man does NOT know what he is doing. Maybe its becase I am a woman but when I got there he didnt quite believe that my key was getting stuck in the starter. He tried it and laughed saying it was all fine. He fiddled wth the gear shift asking questions. He did started it again and again saying it was fine. Smiling then admitted it got stuck but only "a little". I told him to stop messing with it and told him i was worried the keys would get stuck. Less than a couple minutes later thats what happened. Then he said he couldnt help me. He literally made it worse and than sent me packing. I called before told my problem. If he didnt have the capability he should have said so from the jump. I would rate 0 if I could.

I would recommend this Family Owned business. Great Service, Fairly Priced, and Job well done. The mechanic who serviced my vehicle was very helpful and educated. I gave him a hard time by buying an after market part (didn't know it was aftermarket) from the cheap "autozone" and the part did not fit my engine correctly so he requested to fix the issue and he made it happen free of charge. Thanks again boss!

Don't use this mechanic is very unethical and dishonest, you car will end up damage and he will have his young worker do his job ...he will.cahrgd for more than two.hours of labor excessive prices and he will damage your car on purpose so you will.rerurn with other problem..If you dare yo ask him a question of his excessive charge she will tell at you and tellto get out or don't comeback no more..he doesn't know what he is doing he is a bad mechanic

He has excessive prices, hecharges too much for labor,. He is.doshinest .He will damage your car on purpose so you will return to fix it with him., He doesn't know.what he is.doing he doesn't understand electric problems ..he always will tell is the timing belt or the transmission yo scare you so so will spend more money. He is a badmechanic

Owner has good customer service skills while being professional on top of doing good work. I definitely recommend this place! My car is one of those computers on wheels that I've personally had mechanics ((especially older)... Capitan obvious right? Lol" refuse to do certain jobs on my car because they were afraid to screw up my car by for example frying the computer. But at CMS they had no hesitation taking my car in to fix. Come check these guys out!
