Took my car here and had emissions test done. fast and efficient! mandeep was very friendly as are all the others who work here. And their gas prices r always the best! i highly recommend Coastal Gas!

Blond Mechanic didn't catch his name very dishonest. Went for state inspection on a newer truck wanted fail it for Legal window tint. This was second time I've witnessed such acts of not telling the truth. Went to a business on minniville passed inspection inquired what I was told by coastal mechanic he printed out the state guidelines this confirmed coastal is not honest. I will be filing a complaint with state. Avoid this business go elsewhere. In response to owner... I appreciate you taking time to speak on this. My vehicle was purchased from a dealer and vehicle is registered as such. This was not my first poor experience with your mechanic. I believe in second chances but the last experience was what confirmed his dishonesty in addition I had two friends that encountered the similar poor experience and dishonesty by the same mechanic. It's ashame because I totally support small business but guys with this behavior give your establishment a bad reputation. Sorry to be so harsh and do wish you well.

Super rude about whether they do state car inspections and where to line up, totally unnecessary. Sorry if the guy was having a bad day, he doesn’t need to take it out on customers just inquiring about an inspection and where to go on the premises.

Thanks for responding to my comment. My previous comment was Long waiting and very expensive. The inspection price is surely set by the state, but what I mean expensive here is something else. My car got a small crack on the fog light len for five years but the light is working fine. During the past years it got passed the state inspection all the time. It’s my first time coming to this place. they got so picky and asked me to change the len. I think it’s okay to change but asked how much? They told me it costs $160 ish. Wait. I did a quick look in the Amazon the len is about $60 and I watched YouTube it takes about 5 minutes to change so I decided to do it myself and never go to that place again.

Those guys installed cheap squicking rotors and breaks. I had to go back twice to change rotors and breaks again. Nice people and they were willing to help. But please don't underestimate customers. USE better quality parts at all times.

Went in for emission and state inspection. Very quick service, I was in and out in 15min. Paid $50 for both.

I just noticed that my state inspection was due. My usual service station no longer performs the inspection service and they highly recommend Coastal Auto Repair. I am so happy that I went with the suggestion. It was quick and the staff was very professional and friendly. I will return!

We wish give this shop -6 star ⭐️ because ! Send over my husband to repair my car 🚘 Indian mechanic charge for a little part more than $160.00 for a part that part is only $36.00 form auto zone or even from dealership price is about $58.00 Am not recommended at all to my local neighborhood area ! So dishonest ! Greedy for overcharge ! Will never ever come for any auto work !!!!! Be aware Woodbridge my local people !!!!

I have been going to this shop for about 7 years now and I am always happy with their service. They have always helped me promptly, never had any issues, they are priced fairly and strive to provide good customer service. My state inspection was $20, took about 20 min today and I didn't need an appointment. I was in and out and they were very courteous. Thank you for your service!
