The team at this Honda establishment demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism. Calls go unanswered, and attempts to meet in person are consistently avoided. Despite leaving numerous voice messages, no one ever bothers to return the call. Three months ago, after getting a car wash, my vehicle’s trims were damaged on both sides. Plus there were soap marks on both driver and passenger doors. Spray marks were present on the dashboard and on gear box (pictures attached). Mike Hernandez acknowledged the damage, promised replacements within two weeks, and assured me I’d be contacted. It’s now been over two months, and I’ve heard nothing. Repeated attempts to reach him and others via phone or in person have been futile. This kind of unresponsiveness and disregard for customers is completely unacceptable. I don't know when my voice will be heard.

Had a vehicle dropped off right before Thanksgiving holiday with service department. Was referred to speak with Cody in service. From scheduling drop off to repair completion he was on top of everything. Excellent communication throughout process and had vehicle back in no time. Legendary service

I had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience with the service department here. I made an appointment to get an oil change on my Honda civic. The appointment time was 10:30 am, and I was told that the wait would be 1.5 - 2 hours. After two hours had passed, I asked about the status of my vehicle and was told that the mechanics had not even started on my oil change. Obviously, this was disappointing, but what made me even more upset was the Honda employee Jeremy seemed delighted to inform me that the oil change had not even been started and that "it's hard to know how long things will take." Unless you would like to have your time wasted and be treated in a rude and disrespectful manner, I would avoid having your vehicle serviced at his location. If I could give zero stars I would.

Everytime I leave after my car gets serviced I always have to come back because they missed something or for example my glove box is completely removed it's horrible service trash

COGGIN HONDA IS NOT PROFESIONAL REPAIR FACILITY Well just realized after repairs my rear bumper was attached with screws both sides I just couldn't believe how cheap it was fixed. Bumper supposed to be attached with plastic clips that holds bumper. Insurance paid my repairs. Very poor job. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND HONDA COGGIN REPAIR FACILITY.

Absolutely terrible service. Left the car on Monday morning, I was told I would get an estimate by the evening. It was not even through with diagnostics by Friday. In addition, no one answers the phone and they never return your calls. Would not recommend in the slightest.

Review part 1/2 I cannot vouch for the rest of the staff members I worked with as I do not remember their names. However it left a sour taste in my mouth and makes me never want to come back to this location. Some of the service advisors need their attitudes checked to say the least. You simply cannot talk to someone like they’re dumb or stupid when we asked very basic questions about something our previous service advisor already confirmed. Also dear god the service call center get a -1/10 as nobody answers the phone and if you’re not on hold for 20+ mins at a time they’ll just hang up on you for force you to leave a voicemail. Review part 2/2 Jeremy was great, punctual, and he had amazing customer service He was very quick during the checkout process/payment process and he was even able to promptly readjust our service ticket as it was missing a discount. Would 10/10 recommend Jeremy in the future as a service provider as he made the experience worth it/redeemed the good side of Coggin Honda in my eyes ONCE again 10/10 for Jeremy

Super impressed with the service department. Went for an oil change and inspect an electrical issue the technician was extremely thorough and fixed the issue quickly. Great service!

I recently brought my Honda in for a recall for a torque converter. We were having problems with the car and when bringing it to a auto shop, they told us it was the torque converter a diagnostic on it, and since the codes didn’t come out on the diagnostic refused to replace the converter. I brought it back to the other shop who drove around with the scanner on it, and it showed that it had a, excessive slip in the converter clutch. I’ve called the service center numerous times no one ever answers. It takes forever for someone to return a call. I’m completely confused as to why there’s a recall on her part and it’s not being Replaced. The service people working at the desk are just as horrible. They act like asking them anything is a bother to them. This sis not only occur with me but the poor elderly man in front t of me that was asking a question pertaining to if he needed to get his oil changed. This establishment is one of the most i friendly and unprofessional ones out there.

This is by far the worse customer service i have ever gotten from honda atlantic jacksonville.I am a very loyal customer for years purchased 2 brand new cars and stick to them for all my servicing even when am out of town i find a honda dealership to take care of my cars i was thinking about adding a third honda to the family but MELVIN you made me change my mind as a customer service representative you where very rude loud and not understanding. You never no what a person going through or their situation.you have not been dealing with my car for 24 hours you said you would have called back the day it was bought to you but you didn’t and I heard from you the next day I add make a financial decision and am sorry if I wasn’t on your time

Had to call 6 times before we finally got a live representative on a recall repair. Representative was not helpful at all act like did not care about returning our calls. They know that the warranty was covering and paying for it so, I would not recommend having my Honda repaired or going back to this place.

**update** while we were on a road trip, the same issue cropped back up a month after getting serviced here. Coggin missed a failing belt tensioner when they worked on it. The good news here is that Coggin stands by their work and compensated me for having to get the part replaced while on the road trip. Bottom line, Coggin stands by their work and has great customer service. 4.5 / 5 stars. We discovered an issue on Saturday morning and this place was one of the few that were open that I would expect to have Honda parts on hand. I had to call them (not kidding) 15+ times to get someone to answer the phone. Once I actually talked to someone, they said they might be able to look at the car after it was towed in. About 1.5 hours later when we were able to get it towed in, the guy I talked to said there were now 10 cars ahead of us and it would not get looked at. Is what it is, just documenting my experience. Once they were able to look at it on Monday, they sent me over an inspection report and job estimate. I got to approve which work I wanted done which was pretty slick. Car was ready that evening.. $2600 later. (Ouch!)

Absolutely horrible business they will sell young people broken cars I bought a car for 12000 when I was 19 at 84000 miles and the car broke down at 104000 miles and I tried to sell the car back to them after I got it fixed I was only able to get 7 for it and she kept trying to sell me a car after I told her I was only trying to sell my car I decided not to sell it to them at the time because of the interest rates on the new car where sky high I came back with 107000 miles on it to try to sell it again and they only offered me 4000 would not trust what they say at all I came back to grab some stuff out the car and they had the car listed at 12991 and told me they could only give me 4000 absolutely ridiculous witch is more than what I payed for it in the first place I got it for 10000 12 after tag and title

After spending 1,000$ on services for my vehicle, it chaps my a$$ being asked to donate to HBCU. Come on guys? This will be reported to Honda corporate. A local Honda dealership has no place requesting such donations whether you’re diverse or not.

I recently used Coggin Honda for an oil change and rotation, however my HRV also had an irritating rattle coming from the rear hatch. When I mentioned this issue, Ian and the team at Coggin went above and beyond expectations to figure out the root cause and correct the issue. No more rattle! I’m a very appreciative customer

I would advise anyone who needs work done on their vehicle to go somewhere else. I came in to get two main issues on my car taken care of. That was my a/c and electric door. They provided a list to me saying I had multiple other things that needed to be fixed immediately. I took the bait thinking it would be worth it in the long run. A few hours after I picked the van up my door quit working again and a few days later the a/c goes out again. Then they tell me I need to pay $1600 for a new compressor. After haggling with them for way too long they finally said they would discount the compressor but ive decided to go somewhere else because i do not trust their work and dont want to waste even more money. I truly feel scammed i would've never spent so much on the other things if the main issues weren't going to be fixed. I've lost a significant amount of money over this and think the managers of the service area are pretty snakey people.

PARTS DEPARTMENT NEEDS BETTER SERVICE REGARDING GETTING TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS ON PARTS. I HAD TO GET A TECHNICIAN FOR TORQUE SPECS. WHEN ASK AT A DIFFERENT HONDA DEALERSHIP WAS GIVING ALOT BETTER EXPERIENCE.

They did my A/C warranty work and David Lee had been a great service advisor and also Mike Hernandez for putting me in a loaner car. There were delays but I was informed about it right away.
