I will never go to this shop every again. The manger told me it's $10 to put some air in one tire. Not a patch, not a plug just air CRAZY!!!

I got my brakes done today with no appointment, and they got it done within two hours. I’m happy with the customer service and honesty I received. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and the mechanic (Sony) gave me some advice on how to save money on general maintenance. I hope my future experiences with this shop are just as positive. Thanks Sony!

i highly do not recommend this place, i had brought in my car to get coilover suspension installed and was quoted 300. when i recieved the car, the car was extremely low and the entire backend swung left and right on the road and was extremely unsafe to drive, i was told to return the car to their shop and leave the car overnight. following day they raised the car to a appropriate and safe height but yet proceeded to charge me and extra 80 dollars to correct their work of dropping the car more then it should’ve been, but i find that unfair because i already paid for a 300 dollar service that wasn’t done properly and was charged an extra 80 to correct it. shortly after that, my car ended up making a horrible noise and wouldn’t go into drive or park, a year ago they replaced my transmission so i assumed my transmission just blew and i sent it back because i had a warranty for the transmission and found it weird it blew within one year. same day they told me they knew what went wrong and that it wasn’t my transmission. when i asked what was that happened they absolutely wouldn’t tell me, all they said was “come tomorrow to pick up the car and i’ll tell you” and wouldn’t tell me what happened or how much it was gonna run me, next day i called to get an update and they told me the car was already fixed, but i told them to absolutely not fix anything on the car until i was given a price to see whether it would be worth to fix or get a new car, and when i asked him what the price was he just said “you just come here and get the car and here i’ll tell you how much it is” “just come and i’ll tell you how much it is”. when i went pick up the car i was charged 850 because apparently my axle snapped. but he replaced both of em. but here is where the main issue is, there was damage to the hood of my car, a scratch and another scratch that was down to the bare metal, i told them that scratch wasn’t there whatsoever when they received the car, and i was told “that’s been there don’t say dumb shxt, if i wanted to damage your car id hit the shxt out of it and leave some real damage” but yet i have pictures of the car before he ever recieved it and it didn’t have the damage on the hood, and he completely refused to admit they damaged it and claimed it was already there, but if it was already there the damage would’ve started rusting because it was down to bare metal. in the end i was forced to pay 850 dollars for a repair i never authorized, and i had to leave with a damaged hood that was never there when it was towed it in. i find all of this extremely unprofessional and frustrating. first having to pay extra for them to fix their own work, to being forced to pay 850 for a job i never authorized, and receiving my car with damage on the hood when it never had that damage, and was told it was already there when i have photos it never had that damaged, and was told “if i wanted to leave damage, id make sure to hit the shxt out of it and leave some real damage”. please stay away from this place.

went in and got a quote of $2130 for front car repair after an accident, came in to get started and he raised the price after lying about not adding the fender to the original quote price

DON'T EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! Orlando is completely unprofessional. Gave me a price for a rebuilt transmission. 1900 to 2200.00. then after he had my car towed to the shop he raised the price another 1500. I was kind of at his Mercy at that point. Go to pick up my car and he tells me he test drove it and it drives great. I get in my car to leave and it has tons of knocking and loud noises. Take it back to him and explain something's not right so he puts it back up in the air again and realized that he didn't tighten the sway bar. Proceeds to show me a bad flex pipe and CV joint that was leaking everywhere. I had zero issues with my car upon taking it to them other than the transmission which made noise right before it went out. Left with more problems than I went in with. He will not admit to being responsible for those things and won't honor fixing them. Swears up and down they didn't do anything. I took it to two other places to figure out what to do next. They said there's a whole missing bracket that Orlando didn't put back on and my car could catch fire from the oil leaking around the cv. I'm livid and will be getting a lawyer. Not only is this guy rude but he's a liar. Gave me one price then hiked it up 1500 He told me he test drove it that was a lie or he would have noticed that the sway bar wasn't even on right to begin with. I wish I would have read these other reviews before I decided to go there. unfortunately it was too late.

Charges 55-75$ for basic inspection which can be done at Autozone. Tricks you to get the inspection saying Autozone's report is not correct. You get the same results from both the reports. Leaves us with only 2 options either to pay the inspection amount or get sevice done here. Stay away!!!

The manager is unprofessional, does not take the time to listen & admit when he is at fault. Didn't take the time to look up the date of the transaction when confronted with the receipt of service. Do not take your car or you will be sorry you went. He turned his back & totally ignored me. When I confronted him with a receipt he did not honor. Will take your money and not do the right thing ensure customer satisfaction.

Very unprofessional I have some work done and there were some things that were still wrong I presented a receipt he did not want to talk to me he did not want to fix the problem he told me it would be more money please do not take your car there. MAKE SURE YOU GET A itemized receipt! FOR EVERYTHING THEY DO!

Great service reasonable rates and they get you on the road fast. I use Columbus Auto repair exclusively these days... It's hard to find a good mechanic.

So you'll see you know Orlando the owner what he likes to do is give you a quote gave me $168 quote to fix an alternator Friday evening you fix an alternator Saturday I come back and I explained to you that now my battery light is still on my airbag light comes on my ABS my check engine light my AC most of all I had two amazing service dogs in the van the non-emergency 645 please call 911 to try to get the EMS is out to check on my service dogs for having a heat stroke so the crazy part is he's a Mexican from somewhere who knows but you say you fix people's cars I have spoke to five other Hispanic guys you charge them $3,000 $2,000 and this is why you have an electrical fence around your business that's not going to stop anyone at the end of the day when the police tell me I'm not a priority not your priority so whatever happens is my priority so I went all of you people to know what type of man this is what he does to people's cars

The owner is unprofessional, went for diagnostic. Called multiples times throughout the day.. no answer. He finally answer at 545 to tell me my car was fixed without my permission. Refused to discuss it over the phone, told me “he will deal with me Monday” because they close in ten minutes and aren’t open Sunday! Then proceeded to hang up. Worst experience ever and the repair was overpriced we could’ve bought the part for $15 and replaced it ourselves! Update: after paying for the unauthorized repair, drove the car for 30 minutes and it shut off. Took car to a different repair shop, was told the repair was done with an outdated generic part. They fixed it and replaced it for a third of the price. A month later and I haven’t had an issue. Please don’t visit here.

I have been coming to Columbus Auto Repair for about 3 years now. Orlando and his team fixed a super old van (that no one would touch) and helped me get it ready complete a massive road trip across the country. Now I come here whenever something is up with my car or I need an oil change. I trust them completely and encourage all of my friends to come here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The price changed mutiple times for the repairs I requested after we agreed on a set price. I was called and told my vehicle was ready, only to have to wait for another hour after I got there. Had I not asked them did they do the specific repairs, I would have not known at the time. While waiting, they fixed something I didn't ask them to and said it would be an additional $95. I said that wasn't part of what I requested. Orlando sarcastically asked me did I want him to undo the repair. I said absolutely. He became frustrated and said that he couldn't. I paid for a detail but my carpet still had stains, what looks like bleach stains and cigarette burns, but I don't smoke?? He also said I would have to go to a different location to retrieve my personal items that were taken out when they "cleaned" my vehicle. Not to mention some of my personal items were missing which included a pair of designer eyeglass and some electronics (yes I know I shouldn't have left them. Also they shouldn't have taken them). My freedom of not being in jail was stronger than my anger that day. Luv that for me... and them. 🫶🏾 Update: Not even two weeks after I wrote my initial review, my AC went out in my vehicle. This is one of the things I paid them to fix

Worst place to take your vehicle for repair. Took my car to fix. The manager said he was gonna drive the car to identify the problems. He came back and identified the following: rotors, brake pads, stabilizer link bar & a front end noise. Was charged $55 for diagnosis if I was not ready to fix it or $600 if am to fix immediately. I was overcharged and the front end noise was not fixed. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER!!!
