I didn't get any work done, but they throughly and honestly assessed my car's problems and what could be done about it. They were super clear, professional, and cared more about fixing the problem than getting any business out of me. We'll be going here from now on.

If you think it's hard to find honest people, try finding an honest car mechanic. That's what Commonwealth is. Not only did they do a great job on my brakes, but they even called me the next day to make sure everything was working properly. The cost is super reasonable, they are friendly, do great work, give good advice, and care about the end result.

This is the only place I trust to take my car as a female. Very honest auto shop, they have never tried to "Up" sell me on any services that wasn't necessary at the immediate time. Always easy to get in contact with when I need them. Quick and diligent with my last major repair!!

Means alot as I. Dealt with some. Shady mechanics in the. Past finding hard to. Trust but i have. I feel confident in Commonwealth Car Care. And will be using. Them in the future. My truck was having some electrical problems bc the battery was dying every day and I was having to jump it every morning. Commonwealth Car Care is new to the area and super close to me so I thought I would give them a chance. I spoke to the lady at the front deck who is very nice. I told her the problem I was having. Once the mechanic looked at it they said that it was a dead battery. I question their remedy to my problem bc I have a INNOVA 5160RS, OBD2 Bidirectional Scan Tool and I tested the battery and alternator and both was good. Apparently there is a constant drain on the battery which is making it die every day. If it was just the battery and that simple I would have replaced it myself. Anyway moving forward they said my truck was fixed with the new battery and ready. I had plans to go out of town and by the time they called/ or I got their msg I had already left town. I asked if I could pick it up Monday and they said yes which was nice but I thought to myself that it would be good to leave it there to see if it would start after setting for the weekend. Monday comes when I was supposed to pick it up they called me back and said the battery was dead again and need to run further diagnostic’s to figure out what was wrong and I said ok. After 3 days I called back and they said that they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I told them that I would have to take it to another mechanic that I’m familiar with. They said that they would take a $100 off the bill which I questioned bc 1. They could never figure out what was wrong so there shouldn’t be a chance for diagnostics and since the battery was dead again after the new battery went in there shouldn’t be a charge for that too, just put the existing battery back in. Anyway, I tried to state my case but the lady at the front desk was insisting that they had done enough to compensate the bill which actually nothing was fixed. I didn’t want to argue with the lady and seem petty so I paid the bill incase I decided to give them another try. I hate it that they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my truck but I felt they should of put my old battery back in and give me my truck back with no charges bc nothing was figured out and nothing was fixed. I asked to remove the diagnostic fee of $135 and they wouldn’t so to stay in good standings I paid the bill of $278.
