This place is the best! I’ve taken my car here a few times and the service is always super fast. John is so nice and puts you at ease. The last time I brought my car in for an alternator repair, they helped reattach a part of my bumper that was hanging off free of charge. When I picked up my car, they had given it a wash a well (it was diiiiirty)! Thank you Community Auto team!!! Extra extra bonus points for the sweet cat in the office who lets you pet him.

Don't trust these guys they are ghetto they will try to scare u into a repair and take advantage of your lack of knowledge about auto repairs they prey on people who don't know any better

I moved to LA about two years ago and I’ve been trying to find an honest mechanic to help me out with my van which is a 91 so sometimes mechanics don’t even want to work on it. John has been super understanding, super communicative and super helpful when it comes to getting my van what it needs. You can tell that he cares, and he shows that he listens. I came in a while ago for leaking coolant and they solve it immediately. They’ve done a few jobs for me and I am a fan now. I’ll definitely be back and now they are my go-to mechanic. Trust me, if you’re looking for a mechanic you can trust to do the job right and give you a great price, John and Community auto are your people. If you drive an old vehicle, they will help you!!!! new or old, super happy with them. Thank you John!!!!!

Do not bring your car here. I left my car here for a couple of weeks. They misdiagnosed the problem multipletimes . I took my car to the dealershp and they figured out the problem was not as serious as Community Auto Center portrayed it to be. The mechanic Mike cant be trusted.

They did a fine job on my car, but 8 months later I found out I had an outstanding parking ticket from an unpaid meter that happened while my car was with them. They never even told me and thought burying it under the rug would fix it. It didn’t, and now I’m out a parking ticket and late fee. Very disappointed.

This is the best and most honest mechanic in Los Angeles. I’ve known John since he first started (working with his father). It’s the quintessential mom & pop place that you can call anytime for advice that you can trust. They have never asked me to write a review and have always been there when I’ve needed them (I drove a 2000 RAV4 for 20 years and now I’m there with my 2020 Kia Soul. I will continue with them for every car I have)—It’s reassuring to know the staff and know what you are getting.
