I worked down the road from Tom. The amount of cars he serviced & sent out was/is incredible. He’s an honest man, not a service/repair thief, and knows what he’s doing. Just do it. Take your car to his shop. He’s not going to rob you & you won’t be sorry.

The best,honest and professional mechanic I have known. Tom can fix any car without trial and error and running up the bill. He has never recommend me to spend money on repairs that are not necessary.His prices are very reasonable and I always leave his shop with peace of mind knowing that he did not cut corners and fixed it right. I've been taking my cars to Tom since 2002 and have recommended him to all my friends and family and everyone takes their cars to him rather than the very expensive dealer repairs.

Tom spoiled me. I moved 2000 miles away. There is no one here as professional. He will not rip you. He knows what he is doing. I had him do our corporate fleet, my personal car, my sister's car and he's just the best. I would drive the 2000 miles if I could to have him do the work..

I’m from out of town and Tom addressed my a major car issue the same day, made the repairs quickly and was very communicative. The costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend him, no reservations.

Definitely a good place to go for mechanical car repairs. Price is reasonable too. Repairs are done quicker than other car repair shops. Still highly recommend Consolidated Auto for car repairs!

Few months ago I brought in my van...changed a part. Charged me $1000...same issue happened days later.... wouldn't refund my $$... brought to an independent mechanic who works from home ..fixed for $50.... If I could give consolidated auto 0 stars... ***Then explain to me why after having my vehicle approximately a week that you order a part, put it in, charge ridiculous fee of $1000, then...two days later I come back to your business...you can't even figure out why it did it...I leave then..call an independent truck driver...who figures out the issue in one hour where it took your crew a week to do....and you didn't even fix the issue...fyi...it was loose wiring in the electrical switches .. quick fix...no parts involved minus taking out the wires and putting them back in after cleaning. Took literally one hour.

I’m a mechanic’s daughter and my dad was the only person to ever work on my cars. Since I’ve relocated and and my dad is 1,000 miles away I had to find a local mechanic here in Jacksonville. Luckily, a good friend recommended Tom. Tom is the only other person besides for my dad that I trust to work on any of my vehicles. He has replaced a transmission in my fiancé’s truck as well as replaced the entire air conditioning unit under the dash. He has also helped me maintain my oldie but goodie 2004 Mercedes that I absolutely adore, even with an unexpected tow trip in the middle of the night to his shop. Tom is personable, professional and has proven time and time again that he is a reliable mechanic, regardless of the make, model or age. We have been going to Tom for over 5 years now and that won’t change. Also, I work for a major bank in Jacksonville where I have recommended him to many of my colleagues. All of whom have also been impressed by his services and fun personality. One last thing to note is that Tom has a love for antique/classic cars, as do I. That passion for cars is big in my family and I appreciate having a mechanic that shares the same love. It shows in his work ethic.

My 16 old son drove through a puddle and stalled with water in all sorts of places it shouldn’t be, including in the transmission. We took it somewhere else before knowing Tom. They were completely insane on prices and took that transmission out without asking me first. Needless to say, I towed my car out of there, on their dime, and took it to Tom. Tom not only did an awesome job, but he showed my son a few things about his car that helped drive smoother and such. He also talked to me about several cars as I was in the market. Thanks to him, I now own a Toyota Tacoma and I LOVE it. Thanks Tom, for saving my son’s car, and is both a few things about cars. Much appreciated, and we will ONLY come to you for repairs. Your have two customers for life after that whole situation. I really appreciated your honesty.

Mr. Tom is an Automobile Guru!!! He is dependable, professional, courteous, highly skilled and has top notch Customer Service. I can go on and on about Mr. Tom because it is a RARE THING to find a mechanic that's not trying to cut corners and take you for all you got.. Good will and professional competence are attributes competition never beats which found true today in having my 2002 Protégé serviced by Tom at Consolidated. Made an appointment and promptly my auto was hoisted for an inspection of what another dubious mechanic identified as needed repair at cost of 120 USD. With patience and forthright information communicated, Tom provided exemplary service that won my confidence. Highly recommend him to everybody that's tired of being ripped off by other corporate employed mechanics as it's obvious he takes great pride in providing excellent work with great integrity. Most assuredly a rarity these days...

I have a 1999 Toyota corolla and I have regular maintaince problems with it. I always take it to Tom for any enquires or repairs. He is the best and the most honest mechanic I have met in Jacksonville. I had a very unique prob. My engine was vibrating when on Stop light in traffic. I took it to Tom. He guessed that it could be the trottle body issue and said he would clean it. Indeed it was. He had taken time to clean it three times to get it fixed. But he could have just thrown it and changed new one. He charged very less since he had promised that he would clean it. My friend had a issues with his transmission and I had refered him to Tom. He looked and vehicle, the transmission system and adviced my friend that it is the inherent issue of the car model. He could have tried to fix it and made few extra bucks. He instead he choose to tell the truth and let my friend decide. I would recommend him to anybody.

Tom is a great honest mechanic, If there is something wrong with your car he will not beat around the bush. He always fix's in a timley manner, and will send you home with a bill a fraction of what others cost!! He has all the tools needed for fixing vehicles, and if he doesn't do it he knows someone to send you to. All around Tom is the mechanic you would send your mother too, great hospitality, great service, can't beat it anywhere!!!!!!! Thank you Tom for all your help your a lifesaver!!!!! Ben
