Horrible mechanics - took my car there on Monday for my check engine light for them to tell me they cannot find anything and they reset the light. Literally the next day my car doesn’t start and I take it back. Three days later the check engine light comes on again for the same code so I take it to a real mechanic and have them fix it. They told me they have had a bunch of work from fixing this places work.

Good, honest, and prompt work was done on a job that would require many hours of work. I was always informed of status on car. Harry my mechanic was very professional and preformed very well. I recommend this shop and highly recommend Harry

Brought my 2008 Altima in with major electrical problems. The mechanic was able to diagnose the cause and the part was ordered and installed the following morning. All issues resolved! Thank you Cornerstone Automotive for your excellent service!

Great service from honest mechanics. My issues were quickly and accurately diagnosed. When I proposed additional repairs they politely said it was unnecessary. This is an honest shop you can depend on.

I’ve been using this place for quite a long time. And they have been absolutely nothing but the best. Are used to go to another shop regular and then they became shady. The corner stone is welcoming straight forward. And they actually try to save you money. And not push extra things that you don’t need. They tell you exactly what’s going on. And give you the choice without the pressure. I will continue to use them no matter where I live in San Antonio. Excellent service and no one beats how they treat their customers. Just fantastic.

The Guy who i spoke to was Super nice, but im giving 4 stars because they werent able to help me. They told me my 91 S-10 was too old and they only go 15 years back. So if you have an "older" vehicle theres a chance they can't help. Regardless though, top notch customer service :)

This is the absolute best place to take your vehicle if it needs repairs! If they cannot complete a job, they will inform you immediately instead of trying unneeded things to squeeze more money from you. Their work is always top notch, and they do not use any shady tactics like many shops out there. It's not the cheapest place to get repairs done, but I would MUCH rather pay more for quality service than pay for repairs that have a higher chance of failing early or that don't do anything at all.

For the past nine years I've had six different vehicles maintained by Cornerstone. They're first rate in every way. I've been a driver and car owner since 1967, owned dozens of vehicles, hired mechanics in 12 states and three other countries. I think it's impossible to find an outfit better then Cornerstone and you'd be well blessed to find one as good. The boss, Mac is the most honest and reliable human you could ever hope to do business with. On three separate occasions I picked up a vehicle fully expecting a bill of $400 or $500 based upon what I reasonably thought needed fixing. Each time I was happily surprised to be charged only 20 to 40 bucks. Each time Mac would say something like "Turns out it was just this here piece and only took a few minutes." Do you know how rare that is? Way too many Mechanics would compliment me for my savvy diagnosis, charge even more than expected and keep the car for days. It may have happened to you and you wouldn't even know. Three years ago I brought in a car. As usual the issue with it was resolved to my complete satisfaction. Not long after I returned with the same car but a different, unrelated problem. This time when I picked it up Mac refused to take my money. He explained "I should have caught that problem the last time the car was in. So it's on me,." Not many people would have seen it that way. I'll close by pointing out that even a negative review of Cornerstone can be a strong endorsement. Like the complaint that Cornerstone may refuse to work on certain vehicles. Because some cars have too many problems and aren't worth it. Mac will tell you upfront rather than take your money month after month. If the car needs several major repairs he'll tell you about all of them. Many mechanics pretend to "discover" them one at a time to keep you coming back over and over. Mac refused to work on a rust bucket from NY I once had. But he gives his reasons for refusing. Armed with that knowledge you're in better shape to deal with the Mechanics who will take your money.

I heard a rattling in the rear of my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. They would not look at it because they said it was too old. It's a classic and I just had the engine replaced and the AC replaced. Including the compressor. It's in mint condition and they still wouldn't work on it.
