I woke up this morning to a dead car battery and this shop is located right next door to me. The mechanic at Cortez Auto Service helped me out and gave me a jump and I was able to get to work on time and I can’t thank them enough. Thank you!

My car stopped on highway 110 I had it towed to this small mechanic shop at 4400 North figuroa, the owner himself checked it out and got it started within one hour then explained the problem and how much it would cost, I couldn't leave the car at that time, but was very grateful that he was open till 6 and it was very helpful and concerned with my emergency situation, I will go back for repairs in the future and I will recommend this shop ☆☆☆☆☆

Esta persona no saben más un encargado que está ahí de descendencia Centroamericana que me atendió me dio un diagnostico mal. Me dijo que cambiara la pieza sin antes prober mi ventilador el cual funcionaba bien. Solo me saco 340 dólares según qué por cambiar mi ventilador y le reclamo que me dio mal el diagnóstico. Y se enoja diciendo que haga lo que yo quiera pero que el ami no me devuelve nada que tiene sus cámaras y que todo está grabado pero porque no me dice que me engaño que no sabe nada de mecánica. Solo te roban el dinero porque eso es in robo solo ver y decir que no sirve tal vez para agarrar trabajo eh engañar alas personas comprando partes nuevas. No recomiendo este lugar ya que no arreglan y solo roban tu dinero estafadores no se porque tienen estas personas trabando en ese lugar ya que dañan la imagen del taller

This does not has to do anything with getting a car fix here, This is their customer service by Juan. I went here with my van 2010 already the cover was remove so he can see thE problem and give me an estImate, but he didn’t even wanna to go and see, he told me he charges just for looking, I have been to other shops and never experienced this approach, I am also a business owner and will never do this to my potential customers.

Bad customer service. I just called for a quote and the guy who answered was very rude because i told him that it was too expensive to installed a AC compressor. Just labor 300. He mentioned 3 hours to remove it and 3 to install it. He than started talking bad about other places and finally told me good luck. Sorry but no mechanic is perfect but apparently this place is. I would not take my car this place or referred any one there.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! Honest, knowledgeable, fair & reasonable$. Juan, Jesse & the Guys are noBS...all makes & models. Rebuilds to wipers, classic to hybrid. I've known a lot of mechanics in 60yrs...NONE better. If u need auto work, the best thing you can do for your car & yourself is visit Cortez Auto Service in Highland Park.

I had an emergency my Toyota Celica's water hose broke.they fixed it right at the spot.
