Today, October 22ns. I stopped by the Tire center @2:10pm to schedule appointment for the rotation and balance of my 4Runner tires. The associate took the key, tolding me that I can drop the car now to have the service done, and told me that they will call me when it’s ready. After 2 hours nobody called, then I asked the front desk associate about my car, but he said it still outside the workshop and the service wasn’t done. This is unexpected from a workshop belongs to a reputable chain like Costco, this kind of management in such a facility is not qualified and capable to run this business.

Amazing service! The staff was very knowledgeable and got me taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. When it comes to my vehicle I’d rather it be done right at a fair price than fast. Safety for me is a priority.

Great place to get interstate batteries for your vehicles. Staff very helpful and can get you tires and batteries that you need. Definitely check out their prices next time you need either for your family or fun vehicles.

Maybe I hit a good time, but I was able to limp in, buy new tires, and have them installed in about an hour. Good warranty too.

I had my tires rotated and they broke 4/5 of my wheel cap covers. Then they handed the broken caps back to me at the end of service and said they were already broken. They all fit and didn’t have broken clips before the service so that was an unfortunate lie. They should have compensated me for the damage.

On September 9, 2023, I had my first and, unfortunately, last experience in a tire service at Costco. I must say that I did not expect such disappointing service from them. The reason for my visit was to install new tires due to a blowout on old ones. When I initially asked about this, the service employees kindly agreed to install new tires within an hour. I waited for an hour, but during this time an unexpected situation arose. I asked if I could leave temporarily to pick up my kids, with the intention of returning as soon as possible. They agreed to my request, and I left the premises for about 40 minutes. Upon my return, I discovered that nothing had changed, the same four cars were still being serviced. Also, they once again asked me to sign papers and completely reassigned the service order and assured me that the work would be completed within an hour. Reluctantly, I waited another hour, hoping to finally get the tires replaced. However, they took another vehicle, which caused even more disappointment. When I asked about the estimated completion time, they couldn't provide a definite answer, insisting that the wait time was only an estimate and not an exact timeframe. At this point I was extremely disappointed and decided to refuse service. Unfortunately, I have no intention of returning to Costco for tire service, and I would strongly advise against it for anyone.

Ordered tires from Costco. Scheduled appt by calling as the online appt doesn't show any appts for 2 weeks. Got there, waited in line, sat down and they came out and said could not install tires because I was missing the right front Lift Pad (husband and owner of Wedge Kyes both said Costco should have still lifted my car). Got lift pad but could not get WK to install since they are booking 2 weeks out, simply a rubber rectangle that plugs into the hole under the car. Go back for a 2nd try and they refused to put the part on the car. Policy is they do not install anything. Love Costco, but the tire center is now invisible to me. Will not use again The guy there stated it was Policy and did not understand that Policy also affects Customer Service

Their prices are obviously great but after installing my tire they broke my tire sensor and told me it would “go away after driving around for a bit.” It never went away so when I went back for more tires (dumb I know), I mentioned I’d like them to take a look at it since they were the ones who had messed it up last time. They told me I needed a new sensor & that they wouldn’t be able to fix it, I needed to pay for that service myself… a little frustrating since they were the ones who broke it to begin. Let’s just say I won’t be going back again for any tire services.

After making 3 appointments and hearing Excuses on the 1st and 2nd appointment as to why they couldn’t do a tire rotation. On the 3rd the Technician & manager found a new reason, ( My tire was rounded on the edge) That’s why I’m here for a rotation!!!! Wow!! Big waste of time!!

Appointments are not real! After a very LONG wait They come up with a variety of excuses for them being unable to do any work Lazy Lazy Lazy! Don’t waist your time or money!

My hubby ordered my tires on Saturday and they were in on Sunday! Need to make an appointment with them to get anything done on your car 🚗 or truck 🚛. It took them an hour to change all 4 tires.

They are so god awful here. I had an appointment for 4:30 pm. No one at the desk to help me until 4:42. Then the guy tells me it’s going to take an hour and here I am over an hour later still no car. It’s probably Bc they didn’t verify if I had a warranty until 15 mins ago and that the car was out of warranty until 5 mins ago and that I neeeded a new tire. My car is still in the air no tire and it’s been over an hour. The guys in there are just hollering at each other being useless. I will literally never get my tires done at Costco again this whole crew is a joke. Had I not had a flat and road tripped from out of town and actually needing my vehicle I would’ve got it serviced else where.

Got 4 new tires from Costco and had them installed there. They managed to botch it up hard. 1st, they installed 2 of the tires backwards (a lot of tires will have a "tread direction" for optimal performance, reduced risk of hydroplaning, etc.). The tread direction is indicated by a giant arrow on the side of the tire... 2nd, they somehow managed to damage my valve stem on my driver's side front tire when they installed the tire. Mechanic at the dealership was the one to tell me this after I had a slow leak but couldn't put any air in the tire. If I could give them a 0/5 I would.

I love everything about Costco, been a member since 2014 and have convinced several people to join since then. But one thing that doesn’t flow smoothly at Costco is their tire service center. Having an appointment or not, almost makes no difference in the wait time, which ranges from waiting at the desk for sometime to show up and address your need to waiting for your service. The internal process needs visibility. There were several instances that the front desk rep had no idea of the work progress in the shop, not knowing what key goes with what paperwork, walking several steps to deliver the next work order, walking back, etc. This by no means is workers’ fault, but more of a process defect which needs to be improved. This center has definitely an opportunity to perform better, and I hope it does!

Came in a week before to schedule an appointment, told them the tires that I wanted and everything. Came in this morning for my appointment and was told the tires are not in stock. What is the purpose of me scheduling an appointment and checking on the availability of the tires that I wanted if they’re not going to be there at the time of my appointment?! Taking my $800 sale elsewhere.

Poor and disrespectful customer service. I will not be yelled at by a Millenial who can't stop huffing and telling me I am holding up the line. If Cosco understaffs on a weekend, that is not my problem. I am also paying to get service. The sarcasm of management does not improve the situation. Cosco as a company dropped the ball on my expensive tire warranty, and then they clearly shrugged the shoulders, they couldn't care less. Don't bother with a service warranty; it costs less to have the run-of-the-mill tire shops do the same work.
