UNPROFESSIONAL, LACK PROPER TOOLS I will never come back here, specifically because of the front desk worker, Patrick. After reading reviews, I am surprised this man still has a job here. He was belittling and rude from the start. He chastised me for mixing up the words tires and wheels and refused to help me until I corrected myself. After waiting in line for 20min, dealing with him for over 20min, I finally got my car into their shop almost an hour after my 0930 appointment time. I was called maybe 15min later to say they couldn't remove the tires from my car because they didn't have the part. So after almost 2hrs, I left there with nothing done to my car. This was a waste of my time and my families time.

Almost two hours past my appt time for swapping my winter tires and they finally finished but now can't find my keys. Always behind and always have to wait in line for 10 minutes before being seen. The employees are kind but they are severely understaffed. Will not be returning for tire services unless something changes.

The guy that makes calls and comes to the register is TERRIBLE!!! He has 0 people skills and should be stuck somewhere in the back to never interact with customers ever again. He lied to me 3 times and just seemed like he really didn't wanna do my tire installation. The tracking information showed my tires were delivered days ago and when I showed up for my appointment he said they didn't have them. Then tried to say "we will call you when we have them" and called me first thing the next morning. I said ok cool can I come get them today like you said I could yesterday and he said no, you will have to come in a week from today (he legit lied to my face so bad). I hung up on him and tried to schedule an appointment and there's nothing available FOR THREE WEEKS!!! Idk what this dudes name is but I wouldn't trust him to tie my shoe. I have lost all respect for Costco for hiring such a horrible dude. I will be taking my business to Sam's Club and telling everyone to never go to Costco again. Genuinely the worst customer service interaction I have ever had in my life entire life. -1000/10

I had a very frustrating experience with Costco Tire Service tonight when I went to have my tires replaced. Right after the service, I immediately noticed my metal valve stem caps were missing, so I went back to ask about them. Instead of addressing my concern, the staff essentially gaslit me, questioning whether I even had metal valve caps and insisting that if I did, they would have put them in my cup holder. When I assured them I was 1000% certain—because my dad gave them to me—a second employee joined in, repeating the same dismissive line: “Are you sure?” He even went as far as saying, “I don’t know how special they are, but we have some other ones in the back—do you want to see them?” This felt like a complete insult to my intelligence and concern. I know I may look younger than my age, and as a female, they may have assumed I don’t know much about cars, but I am absolutely certain I had those metal valve caps. On top of that, the attitude from the staff member who serviced my car was off-putting from the start, and the check-in process was painfully slow, even though there were only two people ahead of me. In hindsight, I should have known better than to leave the caps on, but I didn’t expect someone to take them and then have the audacity to be dishonest about it. I’m absolutely disgusted by this experience and won’t be coming back. This isn’t the level of integrity or customer service I expect from a Costco service.

Should have read the reviews. Workmanship is poor at this location. I ordered tires online, made an appointment online, tires were not there, purchased/installed higher priced tires, felt vibration at 55 mph, took vehicle to a trusted mechanic, three tires were off one ounce, one tire was off a 1/2 ounce and the right rear locking lug nut was missing.

15 year Costco member here. I have purchased at least four sets of tires over the years from this center; that’s over 4 grand worth of tires. I’ve NEVER had a single issue with them until now. This last trip was a comedy of errors. When they quoted tires for me, another customer’s info must have been in the computer. (Tire center manager said, “That can’t happen.” Well, it did, pal.) So although I paid for the tires, some other guy got the gold membership percentage. I called and was told they corrected this. No, you only attached my name to the order. Showed up for the install and was told afterwards that one center cap was missing when the car came in. Pardon me, but bullshit. They’re fairly rare wheels, and one of your techs either broke it or stole it. But of course, my word against theirs. I finally got the membership problem fixed after it was escalated to the store manager who did what I said they should do in the first place; refund the entire order and rering it. Then as the icing on the cake, I noticed two of the valve stem covers were missing. I give up. I only got 32,000 miles out of this last set of supposedly better tires. My mechanic once told me that tires made for big box stores are inferior from real tire shop tires, now I believe it. We’ll see how this set goes, but I won’t be buying another set from a company whose tire operation has gone down the tubes and will clearly hire anyone to work in the tire shop.

UPDATE 6/01/24: We will NEVER make the mistake of purchasing tires from Costco again. We have had tires for 18 months now. We found a leak in one tire when we happened to take it to our mechanic. He did a temporary rope plug to make sure we wouldn't get flat on the road. When we got it into Costco to make the full repair, after 2 HOURS, they said we breached the warranty by that having been done so they refused to service the tire. What a disappointment and incredibly frustrating. So... we did what we knew would be best (and what we should have done a year and a half ago in the first place): made an appointment at *Discount Tire*. We explained our situation to them and the man inspected the tread on all tires. EVERY tire had to be replaced because the tread was too low -- after only 18 months: unbelievable!!! I felt so ripped off by Costco. The DT man suggested maybe the Costco tire department recognized the low tread and just denied warranty so that they didn't have to replace all the tires for us. It doesn't make sense because we just drive around town, no road trips or any wear like that was done to my car. Anyway, Discount Tires is the ONLY way to go, I know we can depend on them! Oh and our second vehicle we got tires on with Costco at the same time ALSO all need to be replaced. January 2024: We love almost EVERYTHING about Costco. The Tire Center is the exception to that. Every time we have gone the wait is ludicrously long. We have had issues before but I'll specify what happened today. They take like 20+ minutes for each customer so if there are 2 people ahead of you, heavens me, that's nearly an hour wait. Never enough people working behind the counter and they're just too slow. Took both our cars in today to get the tired rotated. They said it would be about an hour. We walked around -- with four kids -- for an hour then got in line (yeah, then waited for 40 minutes with only two people ahead of us). Finally got to pick up our keys only to find out they didn't even rotate one of the car's tires because it was "too soon"(?) -- what's that even mean? We got new tires at the same time for both vehicles and it was the most driven car. What a waste of an (exceptionally long) appointment. The receipt shows the car that was rotated was finished at about the same time we got in line -- so it's clearly the front reception failure, not the workers in the back. Also, they said they would text when the cars were finished but we never received that text. Altogether we got home nearly 3 hours after we left the house for this ordeal. Costco (I love you! BUT), please, get some help here!

Been going to Costco tires for decades, however neither of the ones in CO Springs. Our 1st time here, I was dismayed to find the wait so long, both in the line (twice, once to check in, then after the service) and then waiting for job to be complete. One tire is now punctured. I dread going back. They are busy but I've never seen workers move so slow, especially men, who seem to thrive on getting things done.

They were SUPER friendly, nice, and caring! I came in with an issue with a tire still under warranty. Marcus, at the service desk, was so patient with me and everyone before me! Alex, in the service bay, was so helpful and caring! He was very thorough in checking the tire that I had an issue with. After a thorough inspection to no avail, he could have easily just let me go on my way, but he highly recommended other non-chargeable services that would really benefit the longevity of my tires and my overall safety. This Costco location was 2hrs out of my way. Even though the issue persists (which we were hoping would have been resolved by the little-attention-to-detail items Alex performed), but I'm still so glad I stopped by. Thanks for having such a strong work ethic, Alex!! [P.S. I hope I got the names correct. 😅] Great Job ALL!!

Good selection of quality tires at good prices. I did get an unfortunate flat, and these guys quickly fixed it and got me back on the road.

Very rude over the phone! Very unclear about appointment options and tire availability; went back on something they had previously said on multiple occasions. Told me that 'this isn't the place' to get my tires done if I was looking for a quick turn around. Yikes!

Good prices if you are a member but geeze are they slow and understaffed. Dropped off my car and they told me it would be an hour to swap out the tires, so I decided to shop while I waited. Big mistake ... Ended up waiting for over 3 hours.

Costco says they allow walk ins. Seems highly untrue. Said maybe if I left it all day. Will be the last set of tires I buy at Costco. Discount tire is much more accommodating.

First things first, these guys are almost always super busy, especially on weekends! Be prepared to wait in line at the counter. That said, I've had great experiences with this tire center recently. I have received calls when my vehicles were ready for pickup, and the technicians have all been very friendly. The extra wait time is worth it in my opinion, and isn't too bad if you arrive early!

I have been buying tires from Costco for about 20 years. I drove the 20 minutes to Costco. I pulled in to have my tires topped off after noticing a low tire indicator. I walked in at 9:50am. The attitude at the desk told me it would take multiple hours and sent me a self serve air hose on the side of the building. Good service would have been to take 5 minutes to air up my tires. It would not have interfered with any appointments. I think my 20 year history with Costco just ended.

We live out of town so we called about some tires. They said no appointment necessary and that the tires were in stock. We went up less than 3 days later, and there were no tires our size in stock so they ordered them. We paid at that time and made an appointment. At our appointment, they were unable to get our lug bolts off and said they thought our posts would break, even though there are no posts on this style of wheel, but we didn't know that at the time. So we went home and then to a shop by our house. They got the bolts off in less than 5 minutes. But when I called for a refund, they said they couldn't do it over the phone and refused to help us in any way. So now they want us to make a 3rd trip out of town to get our money back. I'm usually impressed with Costco but their tire center is awful!!!

20 year member. Arrived at 1230 for 1pm appointment. Car went back at 4pm without any notification of delay. Ready at 5 without notification despite sitting in front of counter. Costco just too large to care at all about providing any customer service.

Tires shipped in the time frame they said (on the shirt end). I did a walk-in to get my tires installed. They did it an hour faster than they said it would take. Great stuff from the tire team!!

Purchased recommended tires on Costco.com and when we came in for install, we were told they were 1/8th of an inch too big is they couldn't install them. If they were too big, why would Costco recommend them?! And how can 1/8th of an inch possibly make a difference? Even manufacturer recommends the tires we purchased. When questioned, staff was rude and dismissive.

Bought a set of new tires from them. I was told I'd get a call when they were finished putting the tires on. Never got the call, and asked myself. Turned out its been done for over an hour, and I was sitting around for nothing. Then they lost my keeps for a while and then the $650 tires they had put on my car had spray paint on them. Not the best first impression.
