The most inefficient tire shop in town. Not sure why Costco corporate doesn't have any basic oversight over this place. Either pay them more so it's better staffed or fire and replace the existing inefficient members.

Great experience!!! Picked up a nail in my rental van and had to get back to Orlando. John Davis was awesome!!! Got me back on the road in under an hour! Very understanding, professional and a great person! He made my experience 5 stars!!!!!

This week I decided to inspect the brakes on my Audi Q5. Unfortunately while removing the tires all the key lugs were missing. The only place that removed my tires is the Costco tire center on west Jacksonville. I always trusted Costco because they do a good job and it’s very convenient for tires rotation. It’s will cost me over $120 to replace. Unbelievable.

Terrible service. While living in California, had no problems with service on tires bought by costco. After moving to Jacksonville, I encountered neglect and poor service during tire balancing and maintenance. After only 2 months after another costco service, I found out that my rear tires have a tread depth of 2/32 (they didn't tell me anything about this at costco), when I went to them to have them change my tires under warranty (warranty was 80000 miles and I had only driven 30000), the manager told me that I had to wait until all the tires were 2/32 and refused to honor the warranty. Bought new tires at another major tire chain and they had no problem helping me with the warranty, even though the tires were bought at costco. I will never go to Costco again for tires.

Costco executive member and the biggest fan of all, BUT Costco tire business made me question the whole brand in general. Brief story: Tires were ordered 9/21 - “Will take a week or so to deliver and the tire center with notify you once its in to make an appointment”. Silence… 10/6 - came in physically to the tire store while shopping: -Did you receive my shipment? -Soooo… only 3 out of 4 tires came in apparently so one is missing. -Okay, can you do/did you do anything about it? -Nothing we can do, take it to Corporate. Calling the corporate: -Where is the 4th tire? -This order is marked as its fully delivered. -Well, it might be marked as by you as fully delivered, but its marked as partially received on the other end. -Nothing we can do about it, go to your store and check with them. -Already did, one tire is missing. -In that case go and tell them that they need to file a specific form about a missing tire. -You want me to go and physically tell them to contact you about your shipment being partially received? Can you call them? -The store is closed right now (It was 9am) -Can you call them in an hour when they open? -No, we cannot do that. You can call them and tell them to call us or you can call us when they open and we can call them while you are on the line. (?!) -I will call you back in an hour. In an Hour after debriefing and going through the whole conversation again with the other agent. -Please stay on the line, we are going to call them. ##Waiting on the line for 45 minutes while once again they are “counting tires” Finally: -The tire center filled a form, so you will receive a notification about that shipment and when it comes about scheduling an appointment. Three days later, while still no notifications or anything has been received call back to corporate: -Did you send them a tire? I didn’t get any notifications about it. -We are going to reach out to them and find out. Stay on the line. Waiting for another 45 minutes: -They are counting tires. -Why are they counting tires? Did they file a report about missing tire and did you send them one? -We are about to find out. ##Another 35 minute wait. -They are going to fill up a form, you will get a notification about it, it will take 3 days for them to receive it and they will contact you to schedule an appointment. -They are not going to do that… -Why not? -Because they didn’t do it previously for 3 weeks and you are not an authority to make them do it. But if they do, I do not them anywhere near my car. I want to cancel and a refund. -Very well, we are going to process it for you and you will get a notification on your email. Money will be refunded in 3-5 business days. ##4 days later still notification anywhere about cancelling the order. Calling back to corporate: -Did you cancel the order? -Yes it’s marked as cancelled. -Ok I want a physical notification about it with clear information when a refund will be issued. -It takes 3-5 business days. So you should receive it by the end of the week or next week. -I want a notification that says its been cancelled and refund has been issued -We cannot do that, but you can call/reach out to Whatever place to speed up a process… Finally today 10/19 I got my money back. Happy end. I apologize for this novel here but… Never again. I can understand if you are short staffed, I had a huge patience for all parties involved and never even raised my voice, understanding that some of them are not responsible for a lack of competence of the others, even though I was blown away by the processes in place and the lack of supervision… I know for sure if I wouldn’t start asking about the shipment in the first place, those 3 tires would just lay there till the end of times…

I am a big fan of Costco and their customer service but they really need to step up their customer service and expertise as far as tire center is concerned. Sharing a recent experience I had which have affected my trust and faith in Costco brand. - tires were ordered, payment made on-site - took the phone appointment after obtaining confirmation that tires arrived in the ware house - reached on the day of appointment, but sent back saying tires not arrived - finally after few more days of hassle, tires were replaced by Costco - in less than 48 hours car started indicating tire pressure low - reached tire center and was told that they had forgot to reset the settings in the car at the time of replacement and sent back saying that all is now good with the tires - in less than a week I got a flat tire, I replaced it with a spare tire and reached Costco tire center - there was a big straight cut on the side of the tire which was declared to be accidental damage by the customer, where as it clearly seemed a manufacturing defect - as it was under warranty, a replacement tire was then ordered by Costco but I was asked to pay retrospective difference in cost and sent back saying they will call me in 2-3 days. - 14 days gone, no call received. I am driving on risk on one small tire and 3 big tires. Cant speed up and cannot drive for more than 30 mins at a stretch. Lot of inconvenience as one can imagine. And did I mention long waiting times on phone calls and even in the tire center. The whole experience has prompted me to write this feedback. Hopefully management will see this and try and improve their services

I brought by bmw in last week to get a new set of Michelin pilot sport 4s tires installed just to find out I have peeling clear coat on all 4 of my wheels in the same spot because of their wheel mounting tool. If you care about the condition of your wheels do not take your car here.

Got a nail in my JGC back tire. Was driving on a flimsy spare and needed new tires anyway, and also, the screw was right at the edge so it was not repairable. Walked into the Town Center location on a Saturday to see prices and dealt with Ray. Very nice and helpful, except he ordered the wrong tires and thankfully I caught it after I had asked a question about them. Appointment was pretty quick. After a week went by, tires still weren’t delivered. I kept calling and couldn’t get through-no one was answering. I finally spoke with Brian the manager after calling the main Costco line, and he informed me the truck delivery skipped one Tuesday because the company had a shortage of drivers, and that he would call me the following Tuesday. After being so frustrated bc no one seemed to have any follow up skills to inform me about the mishap, Brian made sure he followed up with me and called me as soon as they were in. Thank you Brian! Now my baby’s got a new set of shoes, but it did take close to 2 hrs for the job to be done.

I was traveling in town during the holidays and the tire center team worked me in when I had an emergency repair needed. The manager was nice and was trusted, we had difficulty finding the issue but the team were accurate in their care and work. Thanks to Robert I was able to get back on my road trip on a timely manner.

This the worst place to purchase tires if you are looking for service after the sales. Trying to get an appointment to balance or rotate tires is next to impossible. I have been on hold on the phone for days and never even come back on the line. Even after an entire day trying to reach them - spoke to the administrative office and they couldn’t even get them to call me back to set up an appointment.

Total disappointment! long time Costco lover but first time to use tire center. Dreadful experience: With an appt I waited 15 minutes to check in. Bought 4 Michelin tires only to have to return 3 days later as tire pressure warning system lights came on as I drove the highways. Back for a second time with appt again. Then waited to 1 HOUR 25 min and had to ask if my tires had been checked! “Sorry but back two tires were under inflated - our fault”. Then 15 minutes more before they brought car out. SO below Costco standards!

Worst customer service! I had a flat tire, so I went for inspection, balance and rotation. I told them I just purchased the car (used) so I wasn’t sure if the tires where in good condition. After 1 hour they told me “you need new tire sensors” I mean yes, but what about the flat tire? They told me “I sprayed it and nothing, the tire is good” I asked twice are you sure it’s good? I put air and the tire kept deflated. They told me three times, YES THE TIRES ARE GOOD. After that I started driving the car and I heard this noise like, something was rubbing the tire. I took it to the Firestone, the people over there told me the tires where too big for the car, that was the reason of the rubbing sound, and that because they rotated them, I could listen. They also showed me a NAIL on the tire. They suggested to change the tires to right size because it was dangerous to drive like that. THEY CHARGE ME NOTHING for rotating the tires. I came back to Costco to ask for a payment return. The manager MIKE came, I explained and they told me. Ok but we didn’t charged you for the tire reparation and a lot of people have big tires on their cars. Ok Mike! But I asked twice if it something was wrong, then I told him I took it to the Firestone and they didn’t even charged me for rotating back again the tires. He answered do you got a receipt? And I told him no, because they didn’t charge me. Then he said, How do you know he rotated them? And I replied because I saw the car, it was in front of me. As I saw the nail, they showed it to me. His answer was, I get my car to Firestone and they always give me a receipt, also that can be a rock, and we didn’t charge you for the repair. Finally, I was mad and I said are you implying that I’m lying? Well I can not give you the money back I can only add this money to the new tires you buy. I replied so, you want me to buy tires here, after this service? I’m leaving, thanks. He went to the cash and refunded the money. I don’t know if this guy was rude to me because I’m a woman or because I’m not white (Latina), he made me feel like I was trying to trick them or I don’t know what. He could have fixed that since the begining, but instead he questioned everything even when I showed him photos. Never coming back, not even if they have good tires and prices. Customer service is really important to me, and the feeling that I can’t trust the people I’m getting attention from, is really not good.

Thank you to Robert who helped my son resolve a bad battery issue. This involved two account holders at Costco, neither of which could go to the store to return the battery. After speaking with a few people there, Robert stepped up and took care of the problem. Nice customer service Robert!

Member paid for labor/tires and made appointment. Dropped off vehicle for the member because life happens but turned away because for some reason "authorization of work" requires membership. I am in the mechanic field. Authorization for work is only for liability. What does it have to do with membership that has already been justified on the vehicle in question with a paid reciept? They just lost future business.

Bought a set of four Michelin’s for my SUV, got a nail in one of them, Costco would not plug it or fix it even though it was on the top of the tire they said it was a “thumbs” width away from the edge so they considered at the shoulder not repairable, total joke. All they wanted to do was sell me a new tire, will never buy tires from there again. The service and road hazard plan is a joke they will not service, they will just try to give you a discount on road hazard towards a new tire. After the tire having about 10,000 miles on it they had the audacity to say the tread was worn down too and I should replace 2 while I’m at it. Would not recommend ever buying tires from there, If you ever need your tire fixed after purchasing tires from them, you mine as well go to a tire shop that will actually fix it for you and not try to sell you tires you don’t need.

Costco has good prices, but the wait line is huge. and there is only one person dealing with clients. you can think that a huge company like costco will have at least two people in customer support. took around 30 min waiting just for the person to talk to me there.

Doesn’t answer phone and lies about wait times. Understaffed apparently and very disappointing. People shouldn’t pay their hard earned money for this type of sercice. At least tell people what’s going on, car/tire issues are stressful enough for us “consumers”.

First off, if you call and they say “Can I put you on hold there’s a few members in front of you”, expect at least a 10 minute hold as there are likely 3 to 5 people in line at the tire center. Honestly your best bet is to hang up and call back and refuse to be put on hold. Second off, if you buy your tires and have them sent to a Costco that is not the closest to you, make sure the third party sets up your appointment at the right location. I was automatically reserved for the Costco closest to me, which is not where my tires were delivered. I write this as I stand in the cramped tire center with 8 other people. Everyone here is upset. The guy at the desk is avoiding eye contact and trying to look busy. I had a 4:00 appointment. I was told it would be done in an hour. It’s almost 6:30. 5:00 I headed back to the tire center. My car was in a bay and the tires were off. Cool. Sat there on their uncomfortable bench until 5:45, completely ignored while person after person asked about the status of theirs. One guy was on the phone complaining and demanding an executive manager, so it was all hands on deck. Several walk ins also came in. I’m not sure if it’s policy to squeeze them in, but that was most definitely the delay. I get it, I paid already, putting other people in front of me who had not paid yet adds profitability to the branch. But that’s not cool to the customers who made appointments. 5:45 I ask for an update right after walking to the bays and still seeing my car with no tires. I was told the tires were on and they were checking things and it would be another 15 minutes. Cool, a lie. 20 minutes later I come back. Guy at the desk disappears. Tires still not on my car. My one hour appointment is now at almost two and a half hours for a routine tire installation on a small car. Just now the manager came in and took a head count and incorrectly guessed all our vehicles and said we were all “about ready”. Judging by the reviews I’m seeing they have been understaffed for a while, and instead of hiring more people they are taking in more business and having people wait longer. This is my first bad experience with anything relating to a Costco. Overall I am extremely disappointed. When I finally got out, there was no apology and not even a mention of the horrific wait times. I am not impressed with the level of service provided at the Costco at Town Center. I understand busyness, and I know it isn’t the fault of the employees. But something needs to be done and soon. Don’t say it will be an hour if it is going to be over two and a half hours. Be honest about wait times, as this doesn’t seem like an isolated thing.

Please hire someone to help the poor girl at the front desk! She answers the phone, runs the keys back to the back, checks out peoples tire purchases, does it all! The line is currently 6 people deep and 20 calls to return.
