Been a Costco tire customer for years. I bought my tires at the Costcos in Georgia and always had amazing service. This location was the complete opposite. They do not care for their customers and the staff have little to no attention to detail. For the high prices they charge, one would think the service would be top notice. From having personal side conversations while on the phone with customers, blaming the customer for not keeping up with tire rotation when they don't install service stickers, to being overall not helpful. After today, I will never recommended the tire services at Costco at any of the Louisville locations. It is overpriced with one star service.

Great experience, both with Robert and Isaac from the team. We bought a new set of tires and 5 days later, got a flat from a screw in the road. Having the road hazard warranty included in our purchase price was great, but having their service to help get a hard to find tire in quickly was even better. Thank you!

I've bought probably a dozen sets of tires here over the last decade+. I always get a great deal and the road hazard warranty is second to none. Almost every single set has had a road hazard, which are fixed for free or replaced prorated. The folks who work in the tire shop are always kind and helpful. Thanks for keeping my family safe on the road!

Pardon my language but piss poor customer service. I called and spoke to Lee (whom is hilariously somehow a supervisor) over the phone to set up an appointment for a 4 tire replacement. He looked my vehicle up in their system, found the tire size since I was unsure, scheduled me 2 days before I was leaving ,came IN for my appointment, walked around the store for an hour, then got a call to come up to the tires center desk where Lee then proceeds to tell me I purchased the wrong tires (you heard me right. I had to pay in full before the install was even done) of which he then continues to tell me unfortunately they do not have the size tires that I need in store. They only have tires that are significantly more expensive. Of course! I asked if there is a discount he could provide me for the more expensive tires since he was the one I spoke with over the phone and looked up the tire size in the computer. Lee tells me that not only is he not going to give me a discount, he’s not going to give me the $150 Bridgestone install discount, then tells me that I can drive to the J town store to get my tires installed. When it’s already 7 o’clock at night after moving my patients surgeries around to be able to make my appointment at 6 o’clock today. I do not have time to drive all the way across town the same evening since I have other obligations. Thanks Lee, you royally screwed me over buddy! You make this location look bad.

By far the worst “tire shop” Costco I’ve ever been to. Nobody cares about your business here and it’s very obvious. Spend your money elsewhere. This place is a free for all and managers don’t seem to care at all. These car mechanics really don’t care about their customers. Most mechanics In the tire shop walk around avoiding customers. 0 sense of urgency by everyone in the tire shop. DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!

Customer service has gone downhill fast at Costco and is worse in the tire shop. I had a battery 42 month free replacement that went bad. Took it into them and they no longer carry that battery so I actually had to pay $30 to get next compatible battery. Shouldn't be my problem they quit carrying my exact battery. Other places offer 5 year prorated batteries in comparable price range. Going there next time.

Stellar experience with the store manager and Bobby J, the tire center manager, on a Friday evening at 5pm before the 4th of July weekend. I was promised a set of tires at 5pm and that recommendation changed after I got there due to my car specifics. I talked to the store manager who put me in touch with Bobby J, the manager at the tire center. I counted two easy ways he could have taken that would have been "industry standard". Bobby took the high ground both times. He looked at my tires and felt they might blow out anytime. He went to a different store to pick up tires and then got it done the same day so I can keep driving safely. IMHO he demonstrated strong leadership, integrity and quick thinking to solve a problem. Costco should hire more of these leaders.

The guys were nice, but the morals were low. They appear over worked and under staffed. Dropped off no problem, I was there by appointment, granted I was 15 minutes late. Took 145 minutes before I saw the car again. I received a phone call after about an hour letting me know my vehicle was ready. I only had a tire rotation done. Went over to pick up the keys and check out, but no one was around. Associates(and managers) walked past me in all directions. I finally flagged one down and asked if I could pick up my car. A different gentleman stepped out from the garage and said no problem we just finished come on around and I'll pull it out. So I did just that.. and out in the cold I stood. For 15 minutes, watching through the window as he continues to work on other tires. Finally I knocked and a third gentleman stepped out and finally brought my car out. Work was great, the car ran well and the price was right.

Was told I would get my tire fixed tonight when I arrived. Waited 2 hours on the side of the building with my dog and someone came out at 8:28 to tell me they can’t fix my tire. He said they should have never told me it would be fixed today. I don’t know if I will make it home on this tire tonight. I’ve never had a tire place leave me hanging like this. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not recommend.

OMG i don't deserve how good Costco is to me!!! that Costco tire warranty is amazing! had a tire issue and they fixed it right up! Goodyear said it couldn't be repaired and wanted to charge $600 for two new tires, but then i remembered i had this warranty at Costco... they fixed up my tires and were soooo nice and super efficient. Shout out to Bobby at the tire center. Two thumbs up for great customer service.

Yes Costco has slightly better tire prices than my local tire/maintenance shop BUT one month after buying 4 new truck tires I have a leak in one of them. Came to Costco 9:45am thinking I would get a quick check, not happening, will wait 1.5 hours. Sometimes there are definitely trade offs for a cheaper price...local guys would have it right in to check.

Absolutely horrible... After being promised tires in 3-5 business days; still no tires and we're on business day 10. The worst part is they can't tell me anything about my tires other than a sorry and we will call you when they come in... I'll gladly pay a little bit more to get tires on the same day from other area shops that have them in stock. I highly suggest that you do the same.
