I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but the Costco tire center definitely earned this one. If you're considering getting new tires, I would strongly advise against going here. To keep it brief, they didn’t change my tires, left the lug nuts loose, and my back left tire ended up flat. On top of that, their communication about reserving my tires was extremely poor. Fortunately, I asked, or I would have been left in the dark. I should also mention that they never pick up the phone, which only adds to the frustration. Please see video below of loose lug nuts

five star for the name Francis car mechanic letting me know my car will finish in 20 min and let me put in my food first,but front desk told me come back 8:30 ..

- I waited for 3 weeks for my tire order. They did not contact me even if the tire was ready. (I called multiple times and found out my tire is already ready) -Right after i dropped my car for replacement, i got text message saying "Thank you for having your vehicle serviced at Costco today, your vehicle is ready to be picked up." which is obviously wrong. Total chaos.

Do not go here, you aren’t saving money or time. Go to Tirerack.com, have the tires delivered to American Tire on Brokaw, and have them installed there. Costco Tire center cannot honor their appointments nor handle walk ins.

I have an emergency: a tire has pop. Now I have been refused service because they are “closing in 20 minutes". I think I'll cancel my membership.

Bought tires for 2 cars with Costco. The only thing that sucks is that if maintenance is needed (nail in tire), all of a sudden, there are no walk-ins available, even if getting to the tire center at 7:45am... I had just had my tires checked through Costco as my tire light went on, and I was informed that no nails were found at pick up. Two weeks later, my tire light turns on again... obviously, something is wrong with the tire, and the mechanic here missed it. I do not feel safe with the tire being this way. Now I have to take it to a regular shop that is not Costco... my husband and I are about to get new cars, and this has made us rethink purchasing tires with Costco. Not happy.

They had to order my tires and told me it would take 10 days. They were very quick in taking my money. 2 weeks later they did not contact me at all. When i call to inquire, nobody pick up the phone. When i was finally able to talk to someone they told me it would take another 3 weeks to get an appointment to install my tire. At yhis point i wanted a refund which they made me come in person. This whole ordeal was a waste of time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I do not recommend this tire station I call 3 to 4 times no one answer the call Basically means they have bad costomer service I repeat I don't recommend this tire station thank you !!

I hate doing bad reviews but I feel it's necessary to help others avoid the troubles my family and relatives went through. Terrible customer service in general throughout multiple experiences and it consistently stays lousy. The worker don't seem to know what they're doing or just don't give a dam. There were only 3 people buying batteries and I'm the second in line and it took them over an hour just to get me through the line. And they're not even short staff. Just a bunch of them running around like clowns and nothing is done. The same goes for getting tires. Also good luck trying to get a flat fixed or tire balance. And good luck with tire balancing. ALL the tires I got were horribly out of balance. The car shakes like hell on the freeway. This happened on all cars including myself, my dad and my in-laws. They insisted that it's correct but I went to a friend's shop to check and only 1 tire is correctly balanced. All others were off over 1oz at least. Then my sister in-law's car kept losing tire pressure and it turned out they did not tighten the valve stem correctly so it leaks from the valve stem. These are all serious issues that will do damages to your car if you are not aware of or ignore. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all cost. You've been warned. And to management or higher up, if you do care about your business, please take this review seriously and take proper action to keep your business going.

Called to ask if they had a tire in stock as I needed to replace one that was punctured by a nail. Someone answered the phone and hung up immediately. Good luck to anyone else trying to get some information over the phone. This was on 8/16/2023.

Don't buy your tires from Costco. Even if you get a good deal (you probably won't, their prices are similar to any tire shop), you will wait for weeks while the tires are shipped. They force you to make a new login for the appointment website that doesn't have open slots for weeks. When its time for your appointment you will wait in a long line to check in, and they won't have your car ready for hours. Good luck with any repair or warranty claims when it takes this long to get service. Just buy your tires from another tire chain that actually cares about speed and quality of service.

Extremely bad service, very rude employees, wait time is very high while getting the tire replacement, right after my tire replacement the new routers started creating the noise and I had to spend $600 to fix it from outside costco. Customers priority is very low here in this location. Be careful.

I am admittedly, not in the best frame of mind as I write this. I am standing in line here to return my battery core for the deposit and the good people who are helping customers in front of me are doing their best but it’s taking me 30 minutes to get $15 back on my battery core. The service was very good when I got it but extremely slow. I come here to save money which I do, but I waste time standing in line for the purchase, and for the deposit refund.

I bought tires from Costco three years ago for $1000. They fixed a flat at no charge under warranty last year. Last week my right rear tire showed low pressure, left front tire had a bubble. Both tires were replaced with a prorated warranty. I paid $250 for 2 tires. I love Costco warranty! They are booked out for 2 weeks. If you walk in without an appointment, go early in the morning when they open.

Running with a punctured tire for some time now No appointments available within two weeks, for walk-in, you have to get in line before they open. Very inconvenient. I wish I never bought tires from them.

Service here is horrible. There are 5 people in line for battery and tyre and no one at front desk for half an hour. There is guy in back watching line and no one is coming to serve customers

The service is amazing here. Came at 9:30 AM and they accepted my walk-in appointment to install my new tires because I bought them in advance online. They didn't get to squeeze me in until around 5:30 PM and finished by 7:30 PM. Vik went above and beyond to make sure I wouldn't have to pay for the installation of the tire sensors since they weren't in stock and offered me several alternative options based on my comfort level. It ended up not mattering because it turns out Francis already saved a set for me from when we talked on the phone the other day! Oh, and I really appreciated that before installing my tires, Vik confirmed that I no longer wanted run flats because he noticed the tires I bought were different. I confirmed that it was intentional and that I chose performance tires instead. I loved that they wrapped the tires I asked them to save for me in bags and had them already placed in my car upon arrival. From beginning to end, I was very pleased with the warm and friendly service I received today. Thank you! ⭐

They helped me find tires within my budget, order them, and set up an appointment for when my tires came into the shop. My appointment was 11 AM and they acknowledged it - finished my tire replacement (full set) before I even finished lunch around 1 PM. (It’s pretty busy/ well trafficked and they usually only have 1-2 people managing the tire center front desk, so sometimes you gotta wait in line a bit, but not more than half an hr, the line can move pretty fast.) Great group and great service

We took our car to get new tires and they tried to steal our dashcam (they weren't able to) but they left it broken cause they werent smart enough to take it out. They took out the memory card before attempting this so that they didnt get caught. I checked the footage and there was an hour gap when we had the car in there getting work done. I'm extremely disappointed with the workers there and upset they broke my property.

I had mixed experience at this Costco Tire Center. I purchased a set of 4 Michelin tires online and scheduled an installation appointment. When I went in for my installation appointment, I was told the truck carrying the tires broke down and they don't have anything in stock, so I would need to reschedule for a later date. I would have appreciated it they informed me of this situation before I went in for my appointment, but no big deal, I can come back again. So I returned for my rescheduled appointment, and was told the car will be ready in 1 to 1.5 hours, and they will call me when it's ready. My appointment was at 8AM so I waited till 9:30AM. No one called so I called the Costco Tire Center number. Initially no one answered my call and got routed back to the Costco main line. So I tried again and was on hold for over 20 minutes. In the end I waited in line to talk to a service agent. Turns out the installation is complete around 9:42AM and they were too busy to call me (I was told they may or may not call me, different from what the service agent told me when I dropped the car off). Anyhow, the installation is good but I wish their scheduling and custom service can be better. But I understand they get busy and it's a labor intensive job so I should be more empathetic and forgiving. I will probably shop here again for new tires but I will leave more time for the tire install and call in advance to make sure the tires are ready when I visit.
