. Don't waste your time getting anything done at sio falls costco with tires unless u have 3 hours to blow. Takes them forever.... you wonder if these 8 to 10 guys in that shop no what there doing. And don't fall for there road hazard warranty either. I was told the guy that patched tire last week did it wrong and the company that patched tire has patched tires for the last 40yrs or more then anyone of them at cosco will ever patch. Now there trying to sell me new set after I installed them 4 5 moths ago.

We got our tires through Costco. They have been nothing but a problem. It’s impossible to get ahold of the automotive department. They are incredibly slow with anything they do. In most of our experiences they have kind been rude. We have always had good experience with Costco as a whole but I do not recommend getting tires there.

Just left Costco from a simple tire rotation and now there is a hard knocking sound when I turn the wheel. Went back to speak with the tire manager and he said it can't be from what he did. Well I sure didn't have the problem when I got there. I will never use them again. Now I have to go pay a mechanic to fix what they broke. So disgusted by his attitude.

STAY AWAY! NOT WORTH IT! They will ALWAYS find a reason to not fix your tire for free. Instead they just try to sell you a new set. I’ve had them claim that the tread depth was too low even though they’re not on the wear bars. In fact, that time they tried to convince me that they couldn’t even let it off the lift as is. I said I’m not buying a set of tires from you when the ones on it are fine. After a bit of a Mexican standoff, they reluctantly gave me back my car. I’ve also had them refuse to fix one because it was previously plugged to get back home. Also because the file wasn’t right in the middle. As others have mentioned, they will replace your TPMS sensors, even though they are currently working. They will sell you brand new lug nuts when the chrome cap cracks instead of just pulling the cap off and using a size smaller socket. Pathetic. I fixed tires for 4 years at a small shop, we would never have treated people like this.

Great tire prices but sloooooow service when picking up vehicle. Only one employee at the counter. Customers wanting to pickup vehicles are 5 deep, and employee is wasting his time, and ours, answering questions for a person who was clearly not going to buy anything.

Absolutely do not buy tires from Costco. Bought 4 new tires 6 months ago....lost one to a road hazard and when I went to buy a new one that matches, I was told it was impossible to buy a single tire. I was told atleast three times I would need to purchase four new tires. For a company that prides itself on customer service , they extended none to me after having spent a lot of money with them not long ago. Never again. Don't get fooled spending money with them.

I've religiously purchased tires from Costco for 25 years. I've used Costco's in Alaska, Minnesota and South Dakota for tires and the one in Sioux Falls has to be the absolute worst. They always find something wrong when you take them in for a "free rotation". Just spent $1000 on new tires for a 2015 Tundra - 4 1/2 months ago and had them install in MN. Took them into Sioux Falls Costco for the first rotation and what do you know... dead sensor and swollen lug nuts. Dead sensors usually trigger warning lights and the lug nuts were last tightened 4 1/2 months ago by Costco in MN. This isn't the first time I've had the Sioux Falls Costco drop some "unexpected" costs but it will be the last time. Do yourself a favor if you live near Sioux Falls, get a online quote from Costco and seek a price match with a real tire center.

Went to see if I could get my tire fixed. While there was several tire employees standing around didn’t appear to be extremely busy was told I needed to make an appointment for them to spend literally seconds to look at my tire to see if it could be fixed. When I asked if that is what they would like to have written on their review they responded sure. It was a very sad because I have great things to say about the rest of the store.

I purchased 4 tires from another Costco location. I recently got a flat in one of the tires, went into this location and a spare was put on my vehicle. My tire size is rare and the tire is no longer made. Fast forward, I ended up replacing all 4 tires. I did this for a few reasons, mainly because the tire is new so if this happens again, hopefully it’ll be easier to locate a replacement. The tire center was short staffed during the week this happened. I was told some of the staff was in Chicago at a meeting and the others were on vacation. Jamie S, Izzy and Peyton were great to work with. I was assigned Jake as the individual that looked for replacements. He was extremely difficult to speak with, I had to call several times to get in touch. My last straw was on an evening when he told me he’d call me back the following morning with an ETA on my tire. He would either have found a tire locally, ordered one from another Costco or had another option for me. The following day, I heard nothing. I called several times and never heard back. Finally at 6pm I spoke with Jake and he had just found out no local shop had the tire and had no idea when another Costco could get the tire delivered. If he would have apologized for dropping the ball, I would have still been disappointed but wouldn’t have been so irritated. He made excuses, was talking over me and said he’d call me “right back” once he figured out another solution. At 8pm I spoke with Jake and we decided to place an order for 4 new tires. That was the last time I spoke with Jake. Jamie S followed up the next day with an ETA and then the day they arrived at Costco, Jamie S called again to let me know they had arrived. She is a pleasure to work with, very compassionate and great communication skills. Peyton checked me out and Izzy helped me when I arrived the first time and put the 4 new tires on my car. Both great guys. I’d honestly rate this more of a 3 but Jamie S saved the day by taking over and making sure the communication improved. I know it’s difficult to find good people, she’s a gem and should be promoted.

Worst place ever to buy tires. Customer service is terrible. I had had a slow leak ( 3# a week) on Costco tires a little over a year old (10,000 miles) they said it had a nail in the side wall so would have to replace under road hazard. They had to order a tire and sent me home with a compact spare on the front not even mentioning it to me until I drove away with low tire warning and all wheel drive lights on. The next week they call it is in and I make a appointment to get it installed. I show up for my appointment @10:00am and am still waiting here at 1:21 and no word on when they will get it done.
