I made an appointment for a “rotation and tire inspection” and called because I had to reschedule, they couldn’t find my original appointment and told me I called the wrong place. I called back because I confirmed that I called the right place and she said she was looking at the wrong day, and sorry it was the first call of the morning and she was tired. So I rescheduled the appointment for a “rotation and an inspection,” I get to my appointment and they tell me that it’s only for an inspection…and I was 11 minutes late to my appointment because I couldn’t find an adequate parking space for my sprinter van, and I couldn’t find the entrance because the real entrance to the tire center is blocked off, and by the time I weave my way through the entrance to Costco through the checkout I was 11 minutes late to my appointment. She said because it was over 10 minutes past my appointment time she had to take me as a walk-in and she couldn’t guarantee me a wait time. I told her that there wasn’t an open bay when I arrived so it’s not like they were waiting for me. It is then she proceeded to tell me that my appointment was not for a rotation and an inspection, just an inspection. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever had at Costco.

Couldn’t have had a better experience. Tire blow out on the highway at 4pm on a Saturday. Called and Zoë said she had the tire and could race me in. When they realized that I told them the wrong tire size they caught it, installed the new one, gave me a discount, and had me out by 5:30. It hit me later how amazingly lucky I was to have this happen. Thanks Zoe and Costco tire team, you were a lifesaver!

Spent $750 on a set of tires. I was charged a TPMS maintenance fee on a 22 y/o vehicle with NO TPMS system, and 2 of the 'new' tires I bought are over a year and a half old! Make them agree to give you tires with a manufacture code within 12 months before paying these goons or they will try to sell you OLD TIRES.

SUMMARY: A simple free patch was turned into a recommendation to buy $900 worth of tires. Lazy? Incompetent? Shady? I bought all four tires at Costco in 2020, recently picked up a screw dead center in the tread. I thought it was an easy repair and took it into the Tire Center for a road hazard warranty patch. Shortly after my appointment started they came out and said there were actually TWO punctures, the screw was repairable, but the second was near the edge and not repairable. 7/32" tread remaining on tires, so they have a lot of life. The attendent gave me the options, since I drive an AWD vehicle, they highly recommend replacing all four tires at around $900, bare minimum replace the axle pair at $400, or they could special order a single tire at $100 but they dont suggest it due to wear match. I was disappointed so I drove home on the spare and inspected it when I got home. They marked the two spots: the screw, sure, but I found NO punctures or leaks on the second spot. I tried soapy water, i poked around with a small screw driver and a pick. My skepticism and doubt started kicking in. I took the tire to Discount Tire the next morning, they inspected and confirmed that it looks like only one puncture for an easy mid-tread patch. They could find no issues at the other spot. The patch was free. I can only settle on one of three conclusions: - this Tire center staff is incompetent - this Tire center staff is lazy and just didnt want to do the repair at the end of the day - this Tire center staff lies to customers to try to sell services they don't actually need. Incredibly disappointed in Costco Tire Center in downtown KC. Seeing other 1 star reviews for the same "unrepairable" tires that were patched elsewhere lead me to believe that this location has a systemic problem. My skepticism assumes they value sales over warranty work and customer repairs enough to lie to and cheat customers.

DauShawn at the tire center is awesome!!! The Costco tire inflation machine is different than any I had used and I ended up taking all the air out of my tire. He showed me how to do it myself and helped me fix the one I emptied without making me feel like the idiot I clearly was.

My tire was very low a couple months ago, so I brought it here to fix it. They charged me $15 and kept the car the whole day, finally they called me and said they can't fix the tire and they offered tp replace it for $200, I ofcaurse passed on that. when I went to pick up my car, it turns out my tire has a screw in the threading. My friend who drove me to pick up the car said they were suppose to be able to fix it. My friend happen to have a tire fixing kit that cost him few bucks, so we decided to fix the tire on our own right there at Costco's parking lot using that cheap kit and it literaly took 90 second, all what he did is remove the screw, and then jammed a rubbery material (came with the kit) in the whole left by the screw, and then pumped using an air compressor that came with the car and install the tire back in the car. I have driven it over 3000 miles since and no issue whatsoever. So disappointed that they would tell me they couldn't fix it and offer me a super expensive tire. I am given them 2 and not 1 star because they add air to your tires for free if you ask them.

I called with a nail in my tire after work about 30 minutes before the tire center closed for the night and not only did they get me right in, my tire was fixed and functional 20 minutes later. Thank you to Alex and his team for helping me out and being so kind in a stressful situation!

The guys here did a great job. They were able to patch my tire up and get me back on the road. Note that you have to have a Costco membership and there isn't really a place to wait like a traditional tire shop. Instead, they took my phone number and just called when the tire was ready to pick up.

I got tires from a Costco in MN. Later when I needed to have a leak to fix, I got a free and nice service back at the Linwood location. I did also need to pay for a previous repair at this Costco when I had tires from a non-Costco store. But it does not make a difference. I have been having good experience at this store. The guys are easy and nice to work with.

Quick and very friendly service. They explained exactly what was going on and were very easy to talk to (didn't feel talked down to). Hopefully I won't need too much tire service but I'm coming here when I need something done

This location has poor customer service and poor quality service. For 6 years I used a non-Costco related company for tires and had zero issues. After moving, I began using Costco exclusively and have had four issues with my tires alone. The fourth time I picked up my car after receiving a new tire, my alignment was off and had to immediately take it back. It is clear this location does not prioritize quality service and employees struggle to communicate and meet customer needs.

Took a tire in for repair And was told it was unfixable and it was flat because of wear. They did they same thing to me last time I went and sold me a new tire ($250) so this time I was skeptical. Took it to a different shop and there was a screw in said tire. I don’t know if they just didn’t want to work or if they are scamming people but I will never go there again and will never recommend them to anyone EVER

Horrible service I had an apt they never called to let me now the van was completed waited 2 hrs after the appointment. I advise you after short wait go to the desk don't wait on them to call which is the protocol

Reason for 4 stars and not 5......after vehicle was service, they didn't think about straightening up ! Finger prints everywhere, dirty ! Floor covers sideways, ransacked through my vehicle looking for my wheel lock, could've just ask before looking and not putting neating things up, looked like a burglar was in my stuff !!! Don't get me wrong, fellas did damm good job fixing my problem with my vehicle ! They just don't show compassion for the inside and cleaning up after them-selves !!! That's the REAL !!!

Got two flat tires late at night. Yes they had the tires I supposedly needed and installed them in 30min, but the severely price gouged me. I was in a jam and they knew it and so they overcharged me because they could. The only reason they get two stars is because they were the only tire place open that time of night and they changed the tires quickly .
