Very satisfied with the level of service!! Called after my engine was smoking based on distance, as I was trying to avoid getting a tow. I was able to drop it off that day and had the problem diagnosed and serviced in less than 24 hours at a very reasonable cost!! Will be my go to and recommendation going forward.

I can't recommend D&B highly enough. When I first moved to Rochester, I didn't know any mechanics locally. I asked one of my coworkers for a recommendation and she literally jumped up to tell me all about this place. She couldn't say enough good things about them. She told me they were the best prices in town, that they never took advantage of her being a woman and tried to sell her things she didn't need, and always treated her well. I've been going to them for seven years now, and I've become the coworker who jumps up to tell everyone about them. Dave and Bruce are both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They've always made time for my car when I had an emergency, and even stayed late to get me back on the road when I couldn't afford to miss work the next day. Their prices are always the best in town and not once have they tried to upsell me or give me service I don't need. I've had the dealership try to say I needed new brakes, and I insisted on taking my car here instead. Bruce took a look and told me I didn't need new brakes, gave me an idea of how much longer I had on the ones I was using, and told me if I wanted them swapped anyway here's how much it'd be. His quote was literally a quater of the Dealership's price. They're a great local business, and the only place 100% I trust with my car.

Bruce is so great. Always listens and talks thru the problem. He saved me on Christmas eve eve when my car broke down on the way to Ohio and I needed new spark plugs! Highly recommend!!

Got an oil change, inspection and tire rotation. Staff was pleasant enough but I was charged for cleaning supplies and they left a giant mess of residue on my windshield where they replaced the sticker. Makes me wonder if any other corners were cut or if the work was done correctly.

Love these guys! I've been going to them for 10+ years and can not imagine going to anyone else. You will not find kinder, fairer, honest mechanics than these guys. They do great work, in a reasonable time, for a fair price. They take away any anxiety i use to have about bringing my car in to the mechanic. Thanks Dave and Bruce for being so great!

Probably the best auto shop in Rochester. Reasonable, honest guys who will fit you in for a service and keeps in good contact with you. They fixed a sun roof that wouldn’t close and really troubleshooted the problem in spite of not encountering it before. They will update your car inspection in a timely manner and do not go searching for non-problems. If they recommend something needs a fix it definitely needed a fix.

I’ve taken my car to D & B on several occasions, and have had the pleasure of being helped by both Dave and Bruce. They are exceptionally honest and talented mechanics. Most recently, I visited them this morning for an annual inspection. I was bummed to learn my vehicle needed a costly repair, but it was made a little less stressful by Bruce going over the diagnostics in detail, thoroughly answering my questions, and getting the work done much sooner than I expected. When I arrived to get my car, he took the time to show me the damaged coils that had been removed, and literally pointed to why they needed to be replaced. Few months before this, Dave looked at my car because of a suspicious noise (not coil-related. My car is just old). He found the root cause, told me it wasn’t a safety issue, and explained that while the ride would be smoother if I replaced the part, it wasn’t necessary to do so. It was pretty great that Dave was honest about the issue instead of charging unsuspecting me $250.00 for a repair that wasn’t essential. On an even earlier occasion, I was first impressed by Dave’s friendly demeanor, but I decided I liked the place when they charged me just over HALF the estimate that another mechanic had given me to do the same work. This place is a rare gem. Their work is amazing and the integrity of these guys is unmatched. I highly recommend them.
