Terrible customer service. Answers your questions too quickly without obtaining or understanding all the facts. Just seem to want to get your car into the shop and then hold you hostage to the costs of repairs without disclosing all of the details. TESLA owners Beware! I DID BRING THE CAR TO THE SHOP. THERE WAS A THOROUGH INSPECTION DOME AT YOUR SHOP AFTER I WENT TO THE FIRST SHOP. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO EXPLAIN THIS BAD SERVICE AWAY WITH A MISREPRESENTATION IN YOUR RESPONSE. SIMPLY - DO BETTER!

Be cautious and thoroughly inspect the paintwork if you're considering D-1 Auto Body. My experience with them was a complete disaster—they botched the paint job on my Tesla, failing to even match the original color. When I reached out to have them correct their mistake, the owner, Donny, became hostile, shouting and cursing at me. Here’s the background: My insurance company insisted I use D-1 Auto Body for the necessary repairs. Months later, a different auto shop revealed that D-1 hadn't even matched the paint properly. When I contacted Donny, he initially promised to fix it. However, when I brought my car in, he completely refused to take any responsibility. The situation escalated so much that my husband had to step in because Donny’s aggressive behavior made it seem like he might get violent. Even the driver who came to pick us up expressed concern about how out of control Donny was. Ultimately, Donny repainted the car—but only after filing a second claim with our insurance. This is not a business you want to support. Dishonest practices and aggressive behavior are a dangerous combination. Stay away from this place. Bad people don't deserve your business.

Great experience! Donny and Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The body work was impeccable and color matching perfect. He even fixed an unrelated issue with the brakes! Someone drilled a hole into my gas tank and I was very stressed about the whole thing but D1 Auto Body was very nice and talked me through the whole process. There were disagreements between the shop and insurance but Donny was awesome and made sure we were happy with the result. Turnaround was really quick as soon as they got the parts. I had an Amazing experience. The workers and the staff where incredibly patient, responsive, and really just so easy to deal with. Got my car back looking better than before and they even fix my tires at no cost. Thank You Donny and Jose for Helping me with this process I know Insurance can be so difficult. Thank You every one for your help !!!highly suggest bringing your car into his shop if you have any issues that require body work. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work they did on my Car.

This business is literally a scam. They tried to con me out of two thousand dollars from a half inch bumper scratch. Then when I refuse to look at the paper work with the estimate on it after I saw the price, the associate got mad and snatch the paper from me. Please be aware these ppl are money hungry and not trying to help you whatsoever.

If you are looking for a body shop, don't hesitate to choose them..! Just a month after purchasing my Tesla Model Y, someone hit my car! I was devastated by the fact that my new car had turned into a wrecked car. Moreover, I was extremely worried because Tesla has a notorious reputation for taking a month to schedule repairs and over two months to complete them. However, my attorney connected me with this shop, and they immediately brought a rental car to my house on a tow truck and took my damaged car away. (I live in Orange County.) They constantly kept me informed about the progress and reassured me. In less than a month, my car was fully repaired, and they meticulously fixed every part, making it look like a brand-new car. When I picked up my car, they assured me that I could come back anytime if there were any issues, providing a warranty that gave me great comfort. From customer service to conversations with the mechanics, everyone was honest, friendly, and, highly skilled (most importantly) I never want to experience an accident again, but despite that, I plan to come back to this place if needed. Thank you so much, D1 Auto team!

It’s unfortunate I got to give 1 star rating. I’m not satisfied at all with this company. I took my truck in because I got recommended here by a fellow co worker. Truck stayed here for over 2months. I got my truck back incomplete still til this day. I’m missing a reverse Sensor for my Truck. I paid my deductible no problem, & my insurance paid complete. & I stayed with a missing sensor. I’ve contacted team countless of times. They pretty much brushed me off (SABI) is the man who gives this company bad reputation. I’m a unsatisfied customer and wouldn’t recommend this shop.

"Absolute Nightmare: D-1 Auto Body- Tesla Certified Body shop - Masters of Deception and Incompetence" I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with D-1 Auto Body- Tesla Certified Body shop, and I can confidently say that it was the worst decision I've ever made regarding my vehicle. If you value honesty, competence, and timely service, steer clear of this unscrupulous establishment. My ordeal began when I entrusted D-1 Auto Body with the replacement of my windshield. To my dismay, it turns out that their definition of replacement is simply telling the customer it's done, while in reality, they hadn't touched it. The level of deception is staggering, and it's clear that integrity is a foreign concept at this establishment. The incompetence displayed by D-1 Auto Body reached new heights when I discovered the sorry state of my car's exterior. The bumper alignment was so off that it seemed like they were attempting avant-garde auto art rather than a basic repair. To add insult to injury, spare screws were scattered inside my car, a testament to their inability to complete a job without leaving a trail of negligence behind. As if the improperly aligned bumper and random screws weren't enough, they managed to butcher the installation of my spoiler. It was a lopsided disaster, and it boggles the mind how a supposedly professional autobody shop could fail so spectacularly at a basic task. To top off this automotive nightmare, D-1 Auto Body had the audacity to inform me that my car was ready, a full two weeks past their original estimate. Excited to put this ordeal behind me, I discovered upon inspection that they hadn't even completed painting one crucial piece. The sheer disregard for my time and the inability to adhere to their own timelines is beyond infuriating. The entire experience with D-1 Auto Body has been a lesson in frustration, deceit, and unprofessionalism. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. This autobody shop is a breeding ground for deception and incompetence, and it's clear they have no regard for their customers or their vehicles. Look elsewhere for an auto body shop that actually values honesty, competence, and customer satisfaction.

I took my car to get fixed last month and the service was excellent. Ana helped me check my car in and was professional and extremely kind. The job they did on my car was honestly really good I couldn’t even tell the damage that was there before. I would definitely recommend to bring your car here.

HORRIBLE. never trust this scammers, liars. This is a place for robbery. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I spent a ton of money to be ripped off. I brought my car in at my absolute lowest with desperate situation. I was first introduced to the shop by Korean law firm, Law Offices of Daniel Kim. When I called him for the advice, he told me to go there, so I trusted him. the Worst Ever Decision Ever in my life. They basically did a bare minimum which would prob cost them $100, instead I paid over +$10k. I did not know any better since this was my first ever accident and I had issues with my insurance and also was away so was not able to check in on my car. Fast forward to today, I took it in for service because of the all the warning lights that have been coming up, the service guy told me where I got my car fixed… he told me my car is in the absolute worst condition and the previous auto body shop have scammed me real bad because now it's full of internal issue. Don at D1 only fixed the external look. When i saw the engine inside of my car, there were so many broken parts, causing my car to be malfunctioned. NOW I have to get this fixed AGAIN all out of pocket. Trust me. All the positive reviews here are “fake review” or “fake accounts” The owner, Don may look all stylish and impress you with their luxury works, but they are EXTREMEMLY RUDE and unprofessional, will talk to you as if you know absolutely nothing and is looking to rip you off in every measurable way. Terrible. Avoid. I would give negative star if I can.

The people who have claimed this place has good customer service and prices seem to be either bots, or relatives of the people who run this "shop". Customer service here is atrocious - they are rude, price-gouging, and not knowledgeable about car repairs. They're tops at that. Save your money and go to a reputable place that has customer service at least a fraction better than DMV.

If you have a tesla I highly recommend!! They got me out of two wrecks !! The first accident I had about 16k worth of damage done to my model 3 they fixed it in 5 weeks ! Sounds long but for tesla that’s quick ! The car was polished and look better than when I had the accident . Got the car back and the next day got in a wreck which was about 25k of Damages they still fixed with out marking it salvage and brought back it to perfect condition.took 3 months though airbags went off it wasn’t pretty . Thank you so much d1 they will be my shop for my Tessie if I need anything !! Also customer services was great through the whole thing if your patient you’ll get your car back in no time with awesome service 👍🤩

My car had very little damage visible from outside. Broken fog light, and two parking sensors pushed in ¼ inches. Only reason I chose D1 is that the lady I spoke on the phone told me I'd get the car back once the inspection is done by the insurance company. She assured me that they’ll take off the bumper to inspect the damage and put the bumper back so I can drive it until insurance company authorize the repair. I dropped the car off and left it for 3 days for inspection. I called to confirm, and the same lady told me inspection was completed and they found significant damages in the bumper. She also said they put the bumper back in place so I could drive it out. I went that same day to pick up the car, a mechanic pull it out from their garage. I asked him how significant the damages were, and he said, they don’t take any parts off for inspection because no one pays for their labor to take it off and put it back in. He’s pretty sure it’s minor damage and everything should be ok inside the bumper. There were few more calls between me and D1, and every time I call them, they’d tell me different stories. Their excuses were there are many clients with same cars and same names. I should’ve have taken my car to different shop, but I thought they won’t mess it up since it’s a minor damage. After insurance company authorized the repair and payment to the shop, I took it back for repair. After 8 days, the repair was done and went to pick it up. Car came out, within few seconds I notice several parking sensors were not installed correctly. They were pushed in about 1/8 inch. I pushed the fog light with one finger, and it fell off. Also noticed excessive paint works, which I scrapped off with my fingernails. I complained right away, and they took the car back into their shop. I waited about 1 hour and the mechanic brought the car back. He said, he glued the bracket that holds fog light. I could tell it was not done correctly as I pushed a corner of the bumper, and it was softer than other side. I didn’t want to deal with them anymore, so I just brought it back. Came home, I notice few clips are missing from plastic panels. Go somewhere else. I don’t know how this place is certified.

They got my baby car back!! I just want to thank them. Its perfect. Took alittle while, but i wasnt worried. They always answered my questions on the progress. Ill be using them again if anything goes wrong with any more of our cars! thanks d1
