When I moved to the Gaylord area, I was pleased to see a Dave's Garage had just opened in town. I knew their reputation in Traverse City so gave them a try. I have an older vehicle and the mechanics at Dave's Garage have provided me with excellent service on three occasions. I am excited about their plans for expansion. I fully expect that they will soon be recognized as the top choice for automotive services in the area.

Super nice staff, offers a ride home and back while your car is being worked on, and they explain the problem so that you can understand it. Also, their print out of your visit includes pictures of the problem, their tester hooked up to your car and the screen read out, and they walk you through every step and answer every question you have without making you feel like you are annoying. Some very cool guys. 10/10 would recommend.

Car was majorly acting up, running rough, black smoke coming out, I was ready for "needs a new engine" when we limped into Dave's out of the blue. Dave's tech's gave us a ride home then isolated the issue and got things working again for a fraction what we were expecting. Honesty is their best quality.

I called for an appointment and no answer - then I received a call back from the shop without me leaving a message. I was surprised that they returned my call with no message. Very impressed with Jamie and the garage.

I've gone here twice now for 2 of my vehicles. They have excellent customer service and knowledgeable technicians who can explain what's going on in a way anybody can understand. I never feel like I'm being ripped off here and they have my business indefinitely.

I have gone to this station for over 50 years, (I have seen it grow when the Johnson's had it) from a house office operation to a busy total service station! I first met Mort Neff there, who became a good amateur radio friend in the later years also Howard Shelly. Haven't been there since but I will if they treat customers like the Johnson's they will win the customers back! Greatest luck for the future Dave!

I had a great experience at Dave's garage. They put new tires on my rims and the difference was immediate. My car no longer shakes when going over 50mph. It's now a smooth ride. The gentlemen there very nice and friendly! Thanks again, guys!

Lost my transmission in my truck while vacationing in the area last week. Cold called Daves garage as soon as they opened on friday morning. They had a new transmission in and done by 4pm THAT DAY!! They were amazing. The owner even gave us his personal car to drive while it was being repaired. Great communication and service through it all. The truck pulled our camper home with no issues. They even called a few days later to follow up on how it was doing. Simply Amazing !! A++++++++

The experience was amazing! These guys diagnosed and repaired my car within a week, and the entire time i was kept upto date with any issues arising with my car. The customer satisfaction is above and beyond. Definitely recommend this mechanic and franchise of repair shops. Ive never been happier to spend 920$!!!! Thank you, Dave's Garage!!!!

Absolutely hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a shop in this area!!! I am 1000% satisfied!!!! Every step of the way Jamie made sure I knew exactly what was going on made sure I was well aware of the time and money it was going to take to get things done no surprises... I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone...no nonsense with these guys they do what they say they say what they do!!!!

Dave’s place took care of me promptly courtesy, and well within reason pricewise I had two new tires put on the front of my motorhome and it was done in a very timely manner. A big thanks to the crew that did the job and got me on the way to Texas again.

I went for a used inspection here and every part of the process was easy and stress-free. Everyone I talked to was happy to help and answer any questions. They went the extra mile to make sure I had a good experience and I am very grateful! I will definitely be going to them more often in the future!

Jamie and Dylan are a fantastic addition to our Gaylord community! Super friendly and extremely professional! I dropped off my truck for repairs last week and expected to be without a vehicle for a day or 2. However, I got a call 4 hours later, and my truck was done and actually fixed! I even got to see the damaged parts! That has never happened with other mechanics I've been to! Thanks, Jaime and Dylan

Many, many thanks to Jamie LaFerriere, owner of Dave’s Garage in Gaylord for fixing my brake pump problem. I was offered an alternative that other dealers and repair shops couldn’t or didn’t offer. This cut my TOTAL cost by more than HALF. DAVE’s efficiency , kindness and extra service helped lessen a stressful situation for this SENIOR. When in thinking I would be spending a bunch of money. Left at $25 dollars and a fixed tire. They could have sold me a new tire but did the customer service thing and fixed my existing one. Great Shop!

Excellent service. I blew a tire on the freeway and had to have my truck dropped off at their shop. Turns out I had a cracked rim, I ended up finding four used tires on rims and they mounted them for me super cheap.

Monday morning miracles happening today for us. Traveling through the great state of Michigan when our GTO decided to have other plans. Could have been much more than a separated rear tire.
