I was recommended to go to this place from another friend Had a issue with my heat myheat in my Chrysler 300 was told could be my thermostat Dave mentioned price of $450 he did some troubleshooting however my car was still in the same situation after spending much time there wasted I feel there very unprofessional no receipt guys there were drinking alcohol and smoking weed I felt like I got taken advantage of then he told me to go and get a second opinion at another shop This place shouldn't be a business ion don't think these guys are all certified mechanics

He was very helpful. He didn't just say what was wrong, he put the car on the rack and showed me what the problem was. Also explained the options and costs.

Went for a oil change lil dude with the glasses didn’t close my hood all the way after I told him he has to slam it he told me “ can’t slam it harder than that” the next morning my hood came up on the way to work and my windshield smashed go to a real auto shop

DAVE’S SERVICE, 1805 W KEEFE AVE, MILWAUKEE, WI 53206 Last year I inherited a 1997 Buick Le sabre with very low miles; because it had been in storage so long and not well-maintained, the engine unexpectedly froze up on me last summer and it ended up needing to be replaced. I could not find anyone to replace the engine at a price at all close to what the car was actually worth as a working vehicle, so I decided to just ‘junk’ the car. This bothered me for it was my parent’s last car. I told Doug at Jack’s Auto Ranch my problem and he found a reasonably priced engine in good condition and just the person to install it for me at a very good price: Dave with Dave’s Service at 1805 West Keefe Ave in Milwaukee. Not only are Dave, and his son, two of the best mechanics that I have ever worked with, they are also two of the most honest, as well. I give his shop my highest recommendations. I had a chance to spend some time with Dave, who is in his mid-seventies, and still working full time; he is certainly one of the most interesting people I have ever met.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I had my truck towed to this place to have my power steering pump replaced my parts on my truck were brand new & had been recently purchased. After having truck towed to shop mechanic called me & told me he wasn't able to work on truck due to his health and where could he drop the truck off at. I had truck dropped off to me & had it towed to another shop. However when power steering pump was taken off it was a part from the junk yard & pully was not with pump. Don't go to this shop & if you do you should check to make sure your parts are new unless you were ok with used parts or your new parts being replaced.
