BEWARE!!! Do not take your vehicle here. DO NOT! I had to take mine to another shop to fix what this shop did. I took it to Gerber Collision in Newcastle and they got my car back to the way it was. No issue! Take your car there if you want it done right!! This company is nice at first and then they never communicate with you like they say they will, they lie and do horrible paint and body work! Nothing on my car lined up and the tail light was still sticking out, I’m posting pictures and in the photo with the green lines, everywhere there is a green line the body was WAVY!! When I was picking my car up after the non communication and issues I asked to speak with a manager. Can’t remember his name, maybe Clint? Not sure, but he comes out to the lobby and proceeds to tell me, “well, we usually don’t accept these types of cars but it was a Farmers claim and they pay good so we accepted it and you would have a hard time finding any shop to accept Genesis” WHAT?! You’re joking, nope! Well sir you are a liar because Gerber accepted it just fine and fixed my car from all your incompetence and they communicated with me the whole time and found the parts y’all said you had trouble finding. You had my car a month and half. They had it two weeks. And they basically had to redo everything. On the back piece of my trunk 7 of the 10 clips holding it to my car were still broke!! Horrible horrible service and your paint job sucked! How do you think wavy paint/body and dried droplets/peeling clear coat is a good job?! Didn’t even put my trunk back together! Didn’t do a walk around with me when I picked my car up, nothing! I wouldn’t do a walk over either if my work was that horrible!!! Chase was my main point of contact and Chase doesn’t communicate!

I would not go anywhere else. Everyone at Davis is kind, professional and extremely helpful. They have repaired my cars in the past to where no one could tell there was a problem. Today they buffed out a few scratches and made our black SUV look so much better. This work was done with a smile and with no charge. Davis will always be the place we go and a paint/collision we recommend to friends and family.

My experience with this shop and it's associates was nothing but pleasant. I took my Jeep to them for an insurance claim, the process was explained, easy to understand, and expectations were set. When getting my final estimate, I looked over it and all the parts, labor, paint etc. made complete sense. There was nothing I found that shouldn't have been replaced, was marked up or over sold. When I got the call that the car was a total loss from the insurance, I went in to speak with Clay to get a better understanding if it was work buying back or letting it go. He took the time to walk me through each picture, explain to me what I was looking at, how the part should look and so on. He answered all of my questions, never condescending, and was amazing in explaining so I could make the best decision. If I could give more than 5 stars to Clay and his team, I would. Absolutely recommend! They care, are honest, and uphold integrity in an industry where that's hard to find. Thank you guys!

Top notch! From the moment I called to get an estimate to when I picked up my car, customer service through and through. Their attention to detail and respect of your time is on another level. I did not have to wait the day I came up for the scheduled estimate. Chase was ready to go and communicated everything he was seeing and what they would be doing. The day I dropped off my car, with a customer ahead of me, took 8 minutes. They will send text messages throughout the process so you do not have to call and ask what is going on. I did not have to deal with the insurance company, other than to tell them I was choosing Davis Paint and Collision. They did it all. My car was estimated to have almost ten grand in damage (pictures don't show everything), and would not be done until 31 March. Davis got it done for less, and I picked up my car on the 22nd. Pick up: I got there to pick it up right at 0800 and they had me pulling out by 0805... even after Chase and another great guy hand wiped off parts of the car for me. You can not go wrong with Davis Paint & Collision Auto Center.

Update 04/19: They are cutting a check to cover the cost of the tire. Rim I'll have to handle. Updating to 4 stars. Original review: Got my car back with a messed up rim and 2 gashes in the tire. Someone doesnt know how to drive a stick and scraped a wall or curb. The tire held air for a day or 2 so I didnt notice. Woke up on this Saturday morning to this lovely surprise.

Edited: Received a call from Brian Davis. He is working with us on getting the issues resolved in a timely manner. He was very professional and apologetic at the forefront of the conversation, and assured me that there will be no other issues moving forward. I have been scheduled to meet with the shop manager upon arrival at this next appointment, and feel that I will be well taken care of from here on out. Thank you, Mr. Davis, for reaching out in a prompt timeline and for your willingness to get this resolved in a positive light. Update: I have changed this review to five stars because of the effort that Brian Davis put into resolving the issues that we initially had. This is what good customer service is all about. Davis Paint & Collision was able to get our repairs scheduled earlier than originally anticipated. They did an excellent job repairing the hail damage to our car. They communicated with us throughout the process and kept us informed as to the status of our repairs. They were able to get all of the repairs completed in a week and we were able to leave on our vacation without any delays due to the repairs. I want to thank Mr. Davis for taking the time to reach out to us and resolve any issues that we had. Made an appointment on July 17th, for August 31st. Informed them at that time, that this was for hail damage and that we had already filed a claim with our insurance. We told them that we already had an estimate from our insurance and asked if there was anything else that they needed from our end before bringing the car in for a damage evaluation. We were told to just bring the estimate that we had already received from our insurance. The afternoon of August 14th we were notified that they needed a work assignment from our insurance and that they would have to reschedule us unless they get one. We then contacted our insurance to get a work assignment over to them. Shortly after 8 am on August 15th, we were notified again that they had not received the work assignment. We were then notified that "Appointments cannot be on the schedule for hail claims without the work assignment." We contacted our insurance about this and were able to get them to get one sent over. This took less than 1 hour to get completed. The work assignment was sent immediately, and was received by the shop before the end of the phone call with our insurance. After Davis Paint & Collision received the work assignment we were informed that "because we just received the work assignment, we can get you in on September 13th. Morning or afternoon." After a brief, yet heated phone conversation, they did not want to take responsibility for the issue, of not informing us that a work assignment was needed from the insurance when the appointment was made on July 17th. We told them that we would be taking our business elsewhere.

I gave this rating because they did a very good repair job on my car. They communicated by text during the job. Although not finished on time, I am still pleased with the repair. I also had them repair the front fender also. We had agreed on a price, but they forgot and repaired the fender by painting all of it. After we discussed it, they agreed to charge me the original cost instead of the hirer price.. That is integrity folks... that is hard to find this day and age.

About 2 weeks ago I dropped off my car to get body damage repaired. From my first experience with Christi I was feeling relief that my car was in good hands. With the communication being awesome, then when I picked up my car today I could not have been any happier with the work provided from the entire team here. I wouldn’t & won’t take any vehicle of mine anywhere else but here if I ever need this type of work done again. Love, love, love these guys & gals.

They did fantastic work on my 2014 Mustang & finished way sooner than I expected! I initially planned to be without my vehicle for a month as the body damage was a pretty severe rear quarter panel ding, but they knocked out the job in two weeks. The repair was flawless and they made the process very easy. Would give 5 more stars if I could!

Truly exceptional customer service. Took the time out to go above and beyond what would have already been great service. UPDATE: 2nd time using this facility and the 2nd time was the exact opposite of the first. Never once recieved calls from the service writers updating me on my vehicle, it was always me calling them. This was even after being told by people like Chase they would call me. Left messages with Lois for him to call. Never did. Still havent had my vehicle back yet and all they keep saying is "its pretty much close to being done". What a joke. I dont mind a long wait on parts and repairs, but I cant stand terrible customer service. Dont give them your business, I know I never will again. UPDATE 2: Wow! 15 minutes after my heated conversation with Mr. Chase who stated that I could call him at 5:30 this evening to see if my vehicle was finished (the call took place at 10am because he still hadnt returned my call from when I called at 815 am) he magically calls and says the car is finished. WOW!!! 15 minutes and the car is now magically done. Oh and Im also banned because of when the heated conversation happened he stated that they were close to being finished and all but just had to make sure it was cleaned and couldnt give me a day, not a time mind you, a DAY when it would be finished. So I said "I dont give a f*c k if its clean I just need my car back." Like I would ever enter that facility again. Dont go to this place, terrible customer service at the front desk. For what its worth, I have had ZERO issue so far with the workmanship and feel sorry for any body mechanic working for this guy Chase
