Love Curtis and his brother. Family owned business and they care for all your automotive needs. Country boys, but they know the cars, even chat with you and give you directions when you are lost. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicles. Their prices beat most out there. If you're in the area, check them out. They are more than happy to help.

This place is an awesome shop. They all feel like they are my brothers. John is an 👌 guy that only puts top parts in your vehicle. Cheap is not always the best policy. If you want it done right the first time go here.

Last Christmas after the intense cold caused my pipes to burst, no plumber was available in my little town for a week. Instead of waiting the week with no water and its attendant problems, I decided to drive 3 hours away to stay at my daughters house in Louisville. When only 7 minutes away from my daughter’s house, the Check engine light on my 2000 Honda CRV came on and was blinking indicating a serious problem. I bought a Code reader which gave the code as P1003 i.e. misfire in cylinder #3. Realizing it was serious I desperately searched for a repair shop. The reviews I read on Davis were encouraging; Johnathon and his workers were indeed helpful. They changed the plugs, distributor and wires but that did not solve the problem. Johnathon explained that it was more serious, probably requiring a head job which would be expensive and time consuming having to use a machine shop etc. or, I may even need to replace the entire engine! Thankfully he charged me only for the labor and not for the parts because the parts didn’t solve the problem. Luckily at the end of the week I was able to limp back to my mechanics 3 hours away. They confirmed Johnathon’s assessment. It took several months but after doing the head job and changing 4 burnt exhaust valves ( probably caused by a faulty “valve Lash” setting which may occur with wear in Hondas due to the absence of hydraulic lifters) were completed, my 2000 CRV is working fine again! Just wanted to compliment Johnathon and his crew for not taking advantage of me at a time when I was desperate for help but instead chose to be honest and transparent while dealing with this serious engine problem. We dropped off our vehicle on a Tuesday. They looked at it Wednesday and repaired it on Friday. I understand it's a small shop, so it can take a few days, but they never called us until it was actually done. We had to call for every update. The worst part, though, was that they quoted a price which excluded labor and the 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card. They didn't indicate these were left off--it sounded like the cost they quoted was for everything. Those are legitimate charges that we're willing to pay, but they should be disclosed as part of the estimate. We ended up paying over 50% more than what was quoted (in spite of the written statement on our invoice that "the amount of the estimate will not be exceeded unless additional work and cost have been authorized by you"). I'll give them credit for trying to be thorough in making sure they found the problem, but the slow service, lack of communication, and misleading price quote will keep us from going back.

Worse experience ever had my car for over 3 months after saying was only gonna take 2 weeks sold me a flat tire a bad battery and cost me almost 3000 to still have the same problems with it brought it back for them too say they fixed all the could even know my car ran better before highly don’t recommend

You must have patience cause this shop is very busy .I was quoted a 3000.00 dollar for repairs and at this other shop a Davis fixed it For 800.00 dollars so far running fine been about 2 weeks now.

My mom has always sworn by them and my dad always did too. So when, not even a month after getting my first car, I started having some issues starting, I took it to them. They were quick, diagnosed the problem (signs pointed most likely to a bad starter, but it turns out the battery had bad cells), got me a new battery in it and I’m driving it less than 24 hours after dropping it off. I know where to go if I have another problem with my car.

Good at what they do and don't try to beat people. Some company's/businesses do not understand that if you're good to your customers they will be good to you. Word of mouth goes a long way. I heard about them through a friend. This business is a good example of honesty. Stay honest and your business will always flurish.
