I don’t play about Ms. Vi cause she don’t play when it comes to me and my cars. I have an Audi A6, Infiniti M 35 and a Ford expedition. I’ve been taking all my cars to her for going on 7 years now and she’s never failed me. No matter the circumstance Or the issue, Miss Vi and her crew are going to take their time and get down to the root of the problem. And she is more affordable the any other mechanic you’ll find in Ga. Don’t sleep I’m putting yall down now 💪🏾💯 Preciate you Ms. Vi 🙏🏾

The lady tries to fast talk you into the repairs she wants you to make instead of the repairs you came in for. Very frustrating experience. Never again: first and last time there. You can tell from her reply, she has an answer/reason/ excuse for everything. It's never her/them. So glad I didn't fall into the trap.

I do not recommend this shop . They held my car for 4 months with numerous errors and delayed repairs and delivery of services A simple fuel pump was replaced in error and they lied several times indicating they would reorder the part . I’m here today again waiting and the response was the mechanic forgot.

The Lady who apparently owns this shop is very fast talking,and doesn't practice honesty. After taking my car in to get it diagnosed what was the problem with the engine and AC etc.She contacted Car Shield and I spoke to them too. They told her and me nothing was covered,I received a called afterwards from Ms VI they wouldn't be able to fix the car only for a certain amt.That I could come and get it,I told her okay I couldn't afford that. When I got there she stated they found the problem and they fixed it.Of course an argument pursued,I know she was being Shady,from $80 to $290 and she put a charged of $10 for a towel.I left and went to another shop that day.Engine light comes back on. I contacted American Express,and they been dealing with it.But she has been sending them misinformation,Yes I agreed for the Diagnostics,which was supposed to have been $10. Car Shield has records,The Shop has Records and so do I.No details on the receipt,$10 towel Charge and a $290 Charge.I requested my money back My next possible Stop will be Small Claims Court.After reading all the negative reviews,which will be evidence that Ms Vi lacks integrity,yes she screams,fast talks over the customer.And tries to be Slick.When I saw that $10 towel charge for parts,I couldn't believe it. Well she burnt the right one,because I'm not backing down and I'm a Man of Faith.You don't do ppl like this,for your own Money Greedy Agenda

I’m not too impressed with my experience using this location for automotive repairs for my car. To sum it up, spark plugs were changed out & my car started up and was running better than it was. I’m also having a coolant leak & was informed that it ‘could’ be a head gasket issue. Now, my oil stick is BONE DRY & my oil light is flashing. I’m having to add oil so that I can make it to another shop for an oil change. I wasn’t having an oil issue & it seems like the shop would’ve informed me of this considering they were diagnosing engine issues. Nothing about the oil was mentioned. I hope this wasn’t a ploy to keep me coming back & spending money. This was my first AND definitely my last time patronizing this business.

Let me say this first. I am not a mechanic. I am not savvy in the art of auto mechanics. I cook and know food. I took my car to Decatur Auto Tech for a check engine light w/a catalyst under threshold code PO420. Vi recommended we change the o2 sensors first. She said she is "90 % certain this will fix the issue". I was charged $104.00 each for front and rear o2 sensors with $195.00 for labor. This came to a total of $437.50 with tax. Not even a day later, the check engine light came on with the same code. I took my car to another shop and had the catalytic converter replaced in the hopes this will fix the issue. Again, the check engine light came back on with the same code. I took my car back to the shop that replaced the catalytic converter. They replaced one of the o2 sensors that Decatur Auto Tech installed. This seems to have fixed the issue, so far. They charged me $75.00 for the part and nothing for labor, since this is only a 15 minute job. Thank you Decatur Auto Tech for charging me $195.00 in labor for a 15 minute job. I do not like being overcharged and taken advantage of. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO decatur auto tech FOR ANY FUTURE AUTO REPAIR NEEDS. I hope this "short money" was worth losing my future patronage. I would have brought my car to you for all of my auto repair needs too, SMH. Your DISHONESTY caused you to lose my business. Your loss, another competitors gain. Thanks Vi

Terrible service from V! They had my hummer for a month! She contradicts everything she says! So they kept getting used parts which never worked and wasn’t our request! The price with the old part was 2200! So my husband buys the NEW part for over a 1000 dollars and she still gave a final total of 1911.00!! So please tell me how does that add up! She charged over a thousand for labor! We called the police and now going to sue! She also told us she was going to leave and wasn’t going to give me my vehicle!! There’s more to this but we paid that robbery price and left! To be continued! DO NOT GO THERE! She also admitted to having mental issues! I recorded everything

Vi is incredible and her shop has excellent customer service. My sister and I needed a flat tire changed and she not only found a place with affordable tires for us but helped us transport it to replace it. Highly recommended family-owned business.

I moved to Atlanta in 2006 and struggled to find a reliable and honest auto repair shop. I was reffered to Decatur Auto Tech by my neighbor and took my wifes car for an emmissions issue she faced prior to registration renewal. Vi was very honest and upfront about what was needed to ensure we could resolve the issue and pass emmissions. She went above and beyond in her communication as well as investigation to ensure we didn't face unwarranted repair costs. She was able to resolve with the least amount of repair cost to us. I returned with my Ford150 to get a window replaced not certain if this was in her line of service and she again went above and beyond to ensure it was replaced and perfectly functional. If you are looking for an honest and reasonable repair shop, look no further!! Thank you Decatur Auto Tech!

The first time she worked on my previous car, I was in disbelief at the price she quoted me…any other auto shop would have doubled it. went to this shop bcuz no others in my area were available. im not sure what exactly they did to my car. i was told they would inspect it before they preform any work. was told it would be 3 days before they would get around to looking at it it took 5 days probably wod have taken longer if i didn't keep calling. got my car back now im not able to crank it w/o getting it jumped from another vehicle. also wasn't experiencing any battery nor alternator issues before i tool it there now when i do get it to crank and let it run for a while it still won't crank on its own again. also now it's making a strange noise and spazzing like crazie i was thinking it was going to blow up. my only source of transportation gone update: checked under the hood yesterday and found the issue i had a little idk the name of it but it was a little piece of metal that was connected to one of my sensors bcuz it didn't work properly plugged in and was draining the battery so where they were supposed to just look and not move anything they took that out and plugged it into the port that doesn't work and didn't replace the piece that was taken out so now my battery won't stay charged and car has to be boosted for every crank. so pretty much paid close to $100 for them to take something off that wasn't an issue at all and keep it

BWARE!! This place is a scam…. Took my car for a simple front brake job and got a call saying it would be $980. Once I refused to get the job done she asked me how much did I want to pay for the service. That’s a red flag. She couldn’t provide me a break down on parts and labor so I decided to just take the car elsewhere. She also over charged me on a so call diagnostic when I stated the problem I was having on the service sheet. This place is money hungry!! Do yourself a favor and do not take your car here. Took it to another shop and was only charged half of what she quoted.

Every driver needs a repair shop they can trust, and I certainly found one in Decatur Auto Tech. So many shops "recommend" work you don't need, and Vi, the manager, only does the repairs your car needs. Turnaround is usually the same day, and pricing is reasonable. I have been a loyal customer for four years now, and take our family's three cars there. I have been in the shop when customers were dissatisfied with other shops' service, and they wanted a second opinion from Vi Nguyen. A woman-owned small business, too!

Years ago my transmission went out and I managed to roll my car into their parking lot because it was near my apartment and ever since they have been my forever mechanics. One car later, and I still come to them with all my car problems. Ms. Nguyen is so kind and efficient.
