Dentons Auto deserves 10 stars! My daughter and I were traveling to Illinois and my alternator quit on me on the side of the interstate. I had called a few tow companies and had JRs towing pick us up. They had recommended Dentons to replace my alternator. Terry had said they would get it replaced for me that day. They had finished it right before they were getting ready to close. When the mechanic drove it, he discovered it was a faulty alternator. Terry pulled together his team and got a new alternator and replaced it and stayed a hour in half past closing so I wouldn't have been stuck in Indy. My price was very reasonable. Dentons has very good prices from listening to some of the quotes that were given to other customers. If I lived closer, I would definitely do all my auto work with him and refer him to people I know. I highly recommend this place!!!!!

I would not recommend anyone using these guys EVER! Completely unprofessional service, charges were totally overpriced for labor, they broke my glove compartment and denied doing so let alone fixing it as if I didn't know the condition I left my vehicle in. Charged me a 75.00 diagnostic fee and didn't even have the print off of the problems the computer found, said their boss erased the readings once I decided not to allow them to work on the vehicle.

I had a Ignition coil go out and mis fire while driving on 465 I got off the highway and found Dentons. Terry diagnosed the issue in a few minutes and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. Wonderful place caring great mechanics. I got home safely 3 hours later thanks to this great place.

These folks are awesome. My ball joint snapped on my 3500 HD while on the highway and these guys stopped what they were doing to help me get back on the road. We were stuck and able to limp the car over to Denton's. I must say I was very impressed with speed to get it done as well as the very affordable pricing. Very good people to deal with and I will definitely keep them in mind for future repairs!

Gold stars across the board For Dentons Auto. We went to Petes service to see why our air wasn't working the shop said we needed to replace the Air Conditioning Evaporator Core/ AC lines / Evac and Recharge for our range rover. Then listed a whole bunch of things outside of our concern. bout time they finished with the quote for the cost of repairs and parts it totaled out to 10,000 in repairs. I declined the service, shop charge 300 for a diagnostic fee, I asked if I went ahead with the air repair only would the diagnostic fee be applied to the estimate, he said no. This shop Nickel and dime you out of every cent. Autopotenza had better price and great customer service and the diagnostic fee would apply if I had agreed to have it serviced Wait for it! Turns out both of their diagnostics were incorrect it was just a gasket leaking cost me $350 Dentons Auto figured that out. Thank you! Go here you wont be disappointed. Real down to earth and honest type place.

I love Dentons .. they're pretty nice. They don't do more than you ask unless it's absolutely necessary and they explain the importance really clear. I don't feel like they chick tax so that's a huge plus.

This shop is one of the best. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and affordable...I highly recommend their work. Terry went above and beyond for me. He could have taken complete advantage of me and I wouldn't have had a clue. Instead, he ended up saving me a ton of money and making sure I was taken care of. He definitely earned any and all of my future business.

Dentons replaced all four of my struts and shocks. They were quick, fast, and even repaired another issue with my car from a bad part change with a previous auto repairs shop. They were most importantly 2xs cheaper than their competitors. Affordable and good people. I highly recommend.

Dentons replaced all my brakelines in my 97 GMC truck. They were fast, responsive and courteous. Terry updated me consistently and was very fair on the cost of repair. Im happy to ha e fpund a shop and mechanics who are honest amd trustwprthy. It can be daunting when women need car repairs done and often can get taken advantage of. I found myself at Dentons when the check engine light went on in my car on my way from Indianapolis to Bloomington. I was really shaken, but Shane made me feel at ease right away, even though my car was clearly in distress. Shane and Terry were both very forthright and helpful; they explained what was wrong with my car without condescending or making me feel like it was my fault because I am not very knowledgeable about cars. Terry shared with me every possible outcome of the work they would do on my car so that there would be no surprises, and he made multiple calls to get me the best price on a new radiator. My 2007 Toyota Camry was running beautifully when I came to pick it up the next day. It is a small business, so you may wait a few minutes before someone is available to help you, but it is worth the wait for the great service. If my car had to break down, I'm grateful that it happened so close to Dentons, and if I lived closer to Indianapolis, I would bring my car back to them in the future for servicing.

We were passing through and Dentons got our car in right before closing and had us on the road by 1130a the next day. They tighten and tuned our 87 Monte SS and made it so we could make it the next 600 miles home. The fact they were honest and charged a fair price for their time and didn’t take advantage of our situation was refreshing in today’s world. The owner gave us recommendations on where to stay for the night and kept his promise to get it us on the road in the morning. What they didn’t know was that my husband and my sons shared very special memories in that car as we owned it previously. One of our sons passed away at 22 almost 3 years ago. My husband has wanted that car back since the day it left our hands almost 15 years ago. The passing of our son made it worse for him. The appreciation of that car was something the boys and he shared, and having the car back was a something he could physically see and have that was part of all those fond memories. Being parents of a deceased child is a special kind of hell and any thing that brings joy is worth it. We had the opportunity to buy the car back. We took it and drove 700 miles away to get that car. We ended up on 425 at 5 pm stranded in the middle lane when it stalled out and wouldn’t start. We had wonderful people stop and help stop rush hour traffic and push it safely out of the way. I didn’t get names but they were in company vehicles and not all the same company and I wish I did as I would share our appreciation with them also. We called Roy’s towing who was there when they said they would be and were super helpful. Dentons was the 3 rd call I made and was the only one willing to get it in with our time table and traveling through. We can’t thank them enough. If ever back in Indy, Dentons is our go to! Anyone in the area restoring or collecting America’s muscle cars should definitely look at Denton’s for any repair or customization needs!
