I had a misunderstanding about my tire but Devon and Alex were super quick to resolve it!!! Especially shout out to Alex he was quick to understand where the miscommunication happened between us and was even quicker to resolve it. Honor on ur family bro fr. I needed air in one of my tires and the rep was so helpful. He made sure each tire had the correct amount of air and helped me reset the low tire indicator.

In addition to being experts on tire selection, these folks are available to fill folks' tires in good weather or bad. They don't check to make sure you bought your tires there (which I did), they are just trying to help people drive safely with correctly- inflated tires.

I had a tire that kept going flat so I went in to the Discount Tire location on Menaul to get it patched . The staff were all incredibly nice, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable . My tire could not be patched but it was still under warranty so they just gave me a new tire . They said it would be about a 45 minute wait and I live close by so I called an Uber to go home instead of waiting there at the shop. As it turns out the wait was more like 20 mins - they were done with everything before my Uber even got there . I have had nothing but 5 star experiences with this location every time I have gone there . Keep up the good work. You are appreciated.

This is the only location I've been to (Juan Tabo/Menaul). Their customer service is absolutely outstanding. The place was hopping while I was there, customers kept arriving, but all the employees remained polite and friendly, taking the time to greet anyone who was waiting, while interacting professionally with the customer in front of them (all while they were dealing with a new software system). They are also very thorough and transparent, telling me about and compensating me for a mistake (made due to the new system) before I was even aware it had occurred. The floor staff I interacted with knew their products well, and the tech came out of the shop to keep me updated. Great customer-oriented culture all around. I had purchased my new tires online and set up an appointment for installation, highly recommended! Zero wait time despite their busy-ness, and new tires installed in under 40 minutes.

Scheduled an appointment for a flat repair for 1 tire. Stood in the lobby for over 30 minutes waiting to be helped even though I had an appointment. Then after the 30 minute wait they said it was going to take another hour to fix the 1 tire! Why did I make an appointment for 1 tire to take 1 hour and 30 minutes. I understand how long the work takes but when I waited 30 minutes just for them to get to my appointment and they can't get my car started at that time even though they are behind on my appointment by over 30 minutes. That's a joke. I shouldn't of bought my tires from here because I'm now stuck to going to discount tires because my tires are under warranty. I wanted over 30 minutes for nothing! And now I still have to go to another location and hope the work can actually get done

The team did a great job at recommending what new tires I should get. Took less than an hour. When I had a tire pressure light scare, I returned and was admittedly angry and rude, the staff remained kind and helped check the tire pressure and reset the light. Great team overall. Thank you! I appreciate y’all’s patience and understanding.

This is a real time review. Walked in at 10:30am for a screw in one tire. My allotted time they gave me was 11:50am to be done. It is now 12:30pm. I'm still waiting for my car. I've seen people come in no appointment with multiple screws. Came and done!!! Not happy but had to come here due to warranty. Would have been faster had I gone to an after market tire shop. Told the guys I had to go to work, that seemed to make the boys move slower.

This just happened yesterday. I've been dealing with a slow leak in a tire that was "patched" by insurance road service due to a bolt I picked up driving. Vincent showed me that unfortunately it wasn't an easy puncture but a jagged tear that really wasn't fixable with a plug. Ended up buying two tires, put them on the rear, kept the best two and mounted them on the front. Had to come back the next day as the new (matching) tires had to be ordered. Good honest service and price. But, what I wanted to comment on was the next day when I returned to pay and get my car, it was very busy and as I was waiting in line with several other people. Three guys working the counter, all busy. I observed Vincent (same guy) helping a young woman who was obviously struggling with the affordability of four new tires. She said she could only put two hundred dollars on her credit card, but had five hundred cash. In spite of the busy day, his patience and kindness was obvious as he walked her through options that met her driving needs and cost. No eye rolling or telling her she could have done all this online. Pretty much everyone who worked here gave off that vibe. In spite of my flat tire, and some wait time, I left there thinking, "I'm going to buy my all tires from these guys.."

Normally I like this place but who ever directs traffic for tire services needs to be reminded that if he needs a car to go to the parking area he needs to let the car blocking the entrance to move out the way instead of frantically putting up his hands and talking rude to them.

CHRIS IS HIM. That guy was not only professional but personable. He remembered me during a busy day, related to me while he worked which made the time fly. I was tired when I came in and left with energy. He was super knowledgeable and made me feel safer in my ride. The air up was free but that feeling was priceless. He went the extra mile for my wip and now I’m riding smooth and secure on the road. If you know what’s good for you and your vehicle go to this location and ask for Chris!

I brought my truck here on June 23rd for a routine rotation and balancing, 13 days later my vehicle started making a metal on mental grinding noise followed by a high pitch wail. I took my vehicle to the shop the following day and said they would need sometime with it to determine the cause, within the hour the shop called to tell me up on visual inspection it looked like the a bolt connected to the wheel bearing was knocked out of place and was digging a grove into the half shaft, they advised me to return it to whoever did work on my truck prior to this, being that my truck is fairly new the only work done was at discount tire. On the day I took it to discount tire, the wait was longer than usual, even with an appointment. I spoke with the store manager and explained the situation and there was told they couldn’t claim or deny responsibility. I was without a vehicle for 6 days and have been with discount tire for over 13 years, with no problem. I don’t know if the hired new people and they were not experienced, but I would be careful bringing your vehicle here. Exactly 13 months later 8/2024 BEWARE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR VEHICLE AND SAY ITS A COINCIDENCE! I guess I have to come back on here and write another HORRIBLE review of this place in particular… I had issues with them 13 1/2 months ago, I brought my vehicle in for a tire rotation.. I drove around approximately 2 weeks she. I noticed a grinding sound coming from my ride… I took it to the shop, where I was told that the stub hub was grinding into my axel… I should have washed my hands of them, but I have been going to this particular shop for over 12 years, I gave them another shot. I bought 4 brand new tires 2 weeks ago, it took hours longer than they said it would and when I called to see what was going on the guy who I spoke too sounded rushed and said my vehicle was not in the bay yet but would be done in 30 minutes.. In 30 minutes I get notification it’s ready. Pick it up and come straight home. I had to run a few errands, and just as I’m turning on to my street I hear something snap and feel that snap under my feet. I pull over and check under the driver side because that is that side I felt the snap on , and this is the same side the stub hub was grinding on the axel. Lo and behold the axel boot is completely open and leaking oil… I take it back to discount and speak to the manager and he’s says “oh it’s a coincidence…” what I find coincidentally is that it’s just the driver side, no issues on any other side! I’m still waiting for their claims people to try and deny me. But it’s a hazard and safety concern. BEWARE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR VEHICLE AND SAY ITS A COINCIDENCE! Save the headache and go elsewhere!!!

I first got my tires at the discount tire on Coors and montano (2021) but have since been getting tire rotations/balance ECT at this location. Both locations are amazing. Tons of friendly associates/service. Super nice and helpful. Literally every person I've spoken with (which has to be 10+ different people) and or been helped by, has been SO nice/friendly. These guys work SO hard and I appreciate all of them! Definitely recommend discount tire, specifically this location (Menual/Louisiana) as well as Coors/Montano. I specifically went today (8-31-24) as a walk in for a rotation/balance and it was super busy but still was met with kind and respectful service and assistance. They got me in as quickly as they could and I greatly appreciate all of their help! Thanks! 🙏

Set an appointment day prior to coming in; communicated that I would arrive a little late due to teaching profession, to which they said “no problem, you have an appointment set well start work on the vehicle when you arrive.” I call early to remind them about what was communicated before, they responded the same answer. “We will get started right away. Came in, checked in with the attendant and was told they had sold the tires I purchased online. They said that I was NOT checked in and blamed me for arriving late. Supervisor Vincent said they had a back up of vehicles and they are at the store later than they all want to be. Workers are busy but standing around at this time and I’m still waiting for my vehicle to get worked on 2 1/2 hour past appointment.

This Discount Tire is WAY too small for the amount of business they get. I got a nail in my tire and was driving on a flat when the car's alarms started going off. I pulled over and saw I had a flat. I called this Discount because they were the closest and Discount's where I bought the tires and paid for the certificates from. They told me to come in and that they weren't that busy. I got there about 10 minutes later to a completely packed parking lot and the entire waiting room was full. The Discount team was pretty nice, albeit they looked pretty stressed out. From the time I got there at 1pm I was finally driving out at 4:30pm. Another thing, I didn't appreciate having to re-pay $50 for the certificate for a tire that I just purchased 2 weeks prior and only had about 100 miles on the tire. Discount should look at that policy. I do understand that the staff was doing the best they could with the size of store they have, which is really small compared to other Discount Tires in Albuquerque.
