Discount Albemarle Road is Stellar! I was very apprehensive about going to this location after my experience at the Matthews location with Danny! It was a toss up between here and the dealership, I went here as the dealership i go to is in SC. When i tell you I was pleasantly surprised! From the moment I got out of my car i was greated by someone. I shared a little about my last experience and how I loved Matthews, but I felt disrespected. Both employees apologized for my experience. My appointment was at 9...i was checked in and done in less than two hours. I watched my car being worked on, they were efficient, I had a question, they stopped,answered it and made sure my needs were met. It was raining, they pulled my car to the front door! Thank you Albemarle Road for CHANGING my perspective about Discount Tire! This is my new home!

Always very professional and knowledgeable. They are now offering alignments, which is very convenient. One of the services they offer for free is checking the air in your tires and adding as necessary. They have an area set up for this, and you do not even have to get out of your car. I buy all my tires here and have been doing business with them for over ten years.

No help at all!!! I had a nail in my tire on the driver side. The guy at the front desk went outside with me to look at the tire. He took a quick look at my tire and said he don't see a nail. I said don't you think you need to pull my car into the shop and jack the car up to see if the tire has a nail. Next, he said you need two new back tires because the tires thread are fours. I find that strange being that I just got an oil change at Hendricks Acura, and they said my tires are fine. Went to the dealership and had no problem getting my tire repair with no issues. Not sure if he was trying to get his little sells for the month and push new tires on me but not today.

This will be the 3rd time coming to this place. Had a leak in tire. Before even checking it. He was trying to sell me new tires. Call, they say they will get me right in. Not a problem. Get here. Tell me 1hrs. Going back to Monroe Discount Tire.

Came in for a patch and plug on my tire that had a nail in the mid section, not the shoulder of the tire. The rep I spoke with came to look at the tire, immediately said it is not serviceable and began dialogue on how I need a new tire. I mentioned I have places to be and he said the tire is not serviceable. I went 2 min down Albemarle to Ntb and they patched my tire no questions asked. Kind of a let down, discount tire used to be my go-to for patch and plug services, even if it is no longer free of charge.

Sometimes you just "have" to wait to get your tire pressures checked and air addded. The annoying part is watching everyone walk out of the bays and no one does anything to acknowledge that you're waiting.

There’s no need to make an appointment they never take my car in at the correct time. Instead I’m waiting for hours when on the tracker it says my car should be finished by then.

Was having a hard time finding a place that would align my Tesla model x. These guys did a great job. It took a little over a hour, but $199 is a great price for an alignment. Seemed like they used the proper equipment and the staff at the front was more than helpful. I will be a customer in the future.

Headed in on Saturday morning after finding low tire pressure and a screw. Service was excellent. They quickly patched the tire and I was out within the hour.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5-star rating is their response to having an appointment. I arrived at 2:40 for my 2:45 appointment. It’s 3:25, and my car hasn’t moved from where I parked it. Why have an appointment if you can’t get to the car then? The same thing happened a few monthe back. Besides the wait they do a good job.

These guys are awesome. I came in for what I thought was a tire plug but they explained to me why I couldn't plug it in ways I understood. I ended up buying 4 tires and having them installed in less than 2 hours. I will recommend this location to other people.

I went to Discount Tires to get air in my tires So I manager came by and said we are busy but someone will come out when we get a free handle and my reply was okay, then young came and said the same thing but I waited in my for 30 minutes and no one ever came out to help me, this where I would buy my tires from I will not give them my business anymore.

Amazing and honest service. Brought my car in for a flat repair, they diagnosed the issue and I was out the door in an hour with a repaired tire. They did not try to sell me on anything, just did what was necessary. I will definitely make this tire shop my go to from now on.

This place is awesome. Needed new tires asap and when I called they had the tires right away and even better ones and a little cheaper than the ones I called about. Customer service is really great and friendly. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I would recommend!!!!!!

Cheap tires, only reason I go, but bad quality of service universally. If you have cars with hubcaps or rims you care about this is not a place to go, inexperienced young workers with little training will inevitably ruin them, and sometimes put your life or that of those you love at risk. The reason I post this review today is not because of the countless cosmetic damages my multiple automobiles have suffered from there, but because I got my wife’s tires rotated on her 2003 Buick lesabre April 14th, we noticed a vibration that seemed to have not been there before. Turns out BOTH the front wheels and the rear left wheel had loose lug nuts (not torqued to spec), that with vibration of driving had loosened up. I retorqued all the lug nuts to 100ft lbs as is required and the vibration is gone, but had that gone unaddressed it could have caused serious trouble. I emphasize this to the company- if you cannot do it right the first time, you don’t deserve to be providing auto care especially not wheels and tires, if you cannot get torquing a lug nut right, and you can’t get not damaging customer property routinely right, get out of the business. GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Train your employees and make an effort to teach them to sometimes slow down when they need to and to be thorough: it may result in less cars per hour but it will make your service quality higher and less stress on the techs too which will ultimately improve your bottom line and customer retention as well as SAFETY !!!! To potential customers : if you want cheap tires come here yes, but get your service done elsewhere. They have consistently had problems for years and years at this location with service quality. The customer service people are nice and friendly and helpful yes, but the quality of the work is lackluster.

Went last weekend because my tire sensor was on. Kept putting air in it but it kept coming on. There was a nail in one of them. They removed and repaired it for free. Thought I was good but it came on again. We've right back and there was another nail in another tire. And yep, they fixed that for free too. Staff is respectful and helpful. Nice and clean on the inside.

Always a pleasant experience at this location I must add that the manager Mr. Cleavland is very professional courteous and knowledgeable pretty good at customer service and making sure everyone is updated on the process of the job being performed, I get my tires from them and always get the free rotation and balance. They also have a free tire repair service and air check. They always recommend an appointment so the wait time is drastically reduced. Take away points, professional, team oriented, awesome customer service, timely service, customer focused. They did some recent renovations which really upped the style of the waiting area and seating. They no longer have the rims/ wheels display. They now also provide wheel alignment.

I walked in to buy four new tires on the rear of my dump truck. Paid for them. Was told no longer than two hours. So I left and came back to see they hadn’t touched the truck yet and it had been two hours. I’m pretty livid.
