Needed new tires so went to my fav shop in Charlotte. These guys came out to greet me, with big smiles, in the frigid temps, then proceeded to show me the "best" choices for my car. One was very favorably rated by previous customers so the next day I went back, and David (Asst Mngr) helped finalized my purchase. Thank you gentlemen, I so appreciate all of you!

Do yourself a favor and go to a different location. We’ve been taking fleet trucks to Discount stores for decades and this is my far the worst experience I’ve had. Pre-purchased tires online and made an appointment to get them put on and get an alignment. Three hours past my appointment I finally had tires and had to leave before they could get to the alignment. Scratched all four of my wheels, forgot to put on three out of four valve caps and left them exposed. No apology from anyone inside.

I visited Discount Tire a month ago to get all four of my tires replaced, which cost me $1,200. Unfortunately, one of the tires got a nail in it today.... I went back to the store and was assisted by Josh. Let me just say, Josh is the definition of exceptional customer service! Since I had purchased hazard insurance, he quickly took care of the situation. Knowing I had a flight to catch, he went above and beyond to replace the tire as fast as possible. His professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help were outstanding. It’s rare to see such dedication these days, and I genuinely think Josh deserves to be recognized as "Employee of the Year." This was by far the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Discount Tire has earned a loyal customer, thanks to people like Josh! Highly recommend this place!

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had a tire shop. They told me my tires were ready then they told me they sold one of the tires and I had to wait a few hours before getting them out on. Once I arrived they quoted me a time out the door of 12:45. I arrived at 11:45 like they told me to. They did not touch my car until 2pm and I did not leave until 2:30. If I could have went somewhere else I would have. They ruined my entire day and wasted my time. I will never go back.

First I purchased a set of 4 tires and they put the wrong tires on my car which cost less than what I had purchased. I came back for a nail replacement and David notice their mistake and replaced the tires for the correct ones. I got another nail in my tire and paid to get it replaced and I noticed later the same nail was in my tire and it wasn't replaced!! Please check behind these people at this location. David is a great and honest man but I told him I will never visit this location again! BEWARE!!

Amazing service from customer service and installers. So far I've had 2 free patches on my Tesla. Today I went in with my car on a tow truck, and they put on 2 new tires 30 mins to close on a Sat. Saved me from taking a day off work Monday!

We are here in Charlotte fleeing hurricane Helene. I'm largely pregnant and due in 3 weeks. We got a flat tire and I have a warranty on the tire through discount from the last time I got my tires replaced, this location refuse to honor the warranty, the asheville location I usually go to would have honored in a heartbeat. Furthermore they then offered us 10 dollars off the tire we need replaced. When my boyfriend asked what the total would then be, we were told 90. When he went to pay that they changed it twice. First to 115, when asked why it jumped the manager said, what you don't want the warranty? ( the same warranty they refuse to honor now, no different) then when we obviously declined the new total was some how 101, 11 dollars more than the initial 90 we were told for a tire that's only 50 bucks? If I could give 0 stars I would. This was every last dollar we had for food and gas and they were so rude and cold and uncaring. This is deplorable. I cannot believe that this is how they run their store. Edit: the store manager, or perhaps he was the store owner? Reached out to me a couple days ago and was very apologetic, I feel this man went above and beyond to right the situation and extend compassion all of his own accord. I appreciate him very much. Thank you for doing right by us. We needed that moment of humanity

*BEWARE* David denied to repair my tires, tried forcing me to buy new tire’s told him i had a spare, still was trying to sell me a tire, drove 3.5 miles to another discount tire and they fixed it perfectly fine, pleas stay away from an establishment as crooked as this, and David if you are reading this how dare you try to sell me wiper blades before even attempting to look at the tire i told you had a nail in? Lol - grey Acura

Caitlyn is AMAZING! She actually listened to the problems I was having with my car and immediately knew the answer to fix it, unlike one of her male counterparts who spent 15 minutes on the phone arguing with me & being vague about the work they performed. Most of the people here provide top notch service and are super kind and respectful. Would definitely stop here again.

One of my favorite companies to do business with... two weeks ago, got 4 new tires. One of the tires got a bubble in the side wall and they replaced it for free today. Two weeks before that, my daughter ran over a nail... they patched it at no charge and we did not get her tires from here. We definitely will when it comes time to replace them.

Wow!! Amazing and friendly customer service! Imagine my panic on a Saturday, mid afternoon when I saw a bolt sticking out of my tire! I was in panic mode so I called my dealership. They said they couldn't get me in today, but recommended Discount tire on south blvd and I am so glad they did. I walked in (it was busy for a Saturday, but that is to be expected) and was greeted and set up in their system in no time. After a short wait, I was ready to go. Thank you so much Discount Tire! You guys are the best!!!

Great experience at Discount Tire! Derrick was very knowledgeable and patient with me as he explained the issue with my tires and quickly provided a solution. Everyone was very professional and kind. The showroom was comfortable and clean. My new tires were installed quickly. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Thanks so much. Highly recommend.

Incredibly polite and knowledgeable staff, especially Derrick and Ethan. Derrick took the initial call and explained the process for a nail in my tire. Ethan greeted me the moment I walked in and went right to my vehicle to see the nail. Turns out the mail did not puncture the tire, just got stuck in the rubber.

It’s not my first time at this location however, this will definitely be my last. I came to get two tires replaced and with an appointment. I was told it would be 45 to 60 minutes. Two hours later, the car has still not been serviced. The regional manager and local management have been disrespectful and had an attitude regarding wait times. The technicians are working as hard as they can, but their management isn’t allowing them to be as efficient as they could be. Highly recommend looking for a different location or store entirely. Update. Since my experience at this location, I've had 2 conversations with the regional management office. I was offered what seemed to me a very honest apology. I was explained the circumstance and issues with this store. I have a service and manufacturing background therefore, I fully understand their situation. The regional manager was not at fault in this case, rather, the local management. I expect the store will go under scrutiny by their governing offices but I also expect the public to reach out and say something when confronted with unacceptable behavior. Total time spent at this store was 3 hours for 2 tires, all while having an appointment. This was solely due to mismanagement.

Went in to get a nail removed and my tire patched. I felt terrible for arriving within 30 minutes of closing but everyone I interacted with was lovely! I left with a smile on my face and a patched tire. Would highly recommend this location to others.

Fast and non-stressful service. Those who attended me were well informed and helped me understand what happened with my old tire that couldn’t be fixed and replace it with a new tire at a reasonable cost. I liked how they clearly marked the two spots with damage (one of which I was already aware of and not the other) and they showed me so I could be better informed of why the original tire couldn’t be fixed. Drove further to come here since I booked my appointment the night before, but it was worth it. I recommend!

I found a good price on tires from a reliable brand, so I went to this location. Every member of the staff I interacted with was very pleasant, the showroom is nice and clean, adding on alignment service was very reasonable, and the install was nice and quick. When a tech broke one of the studs on my wheel, they paid for the repair. I'll definitely be back.

We booked appointment online and when we reached to our appointment time they said they don’t have our appointment. They were not very friendly and asked us to wait for 2 hours despite their website said appointment was confirmed.
