The Dallas Inwood Discount Tire store executes by far the best service I have ever experienced time and time again simply because John the Store Director leads his team of young guys by example. Just look at the photos from today when I took my wife's Highlander in for a flat repair.

11/11 worst customer experience by team specially Adrian @ 1PM. I went to change a tire and they said the rim was broken/bent so they couldn’t change it. Makes sense, no problem. I said I’d pick it up and come back another time when they had the tire and rim. Picked it up and they put a new tire on the broken wheel. I said, we agreed to not do that. They forced me to buy a new tire that was installed on a broken rim. Yall lost a long time client for a quick buck.

I do not recommend this place whatsoever. I own a Subaru and needed to replace 1 tire. Well the guy helping me told a bs story saying how only changing 1 tire can affect my transmission.... well that's not what Subaru said! Don't come here, they just want your money and as much as they can get out of you. Also was told my tire light would turn off and it never did! Dropped over $400 here because of some bs guy who wanted to scam someone because of their gender. Not only that but then was also told that I had a nail and needed to replace my tire.. not once was patching the tire mentioned. They wanted me to REPLACE my tire because of a NAIL. Complete BS

I don't understand why anyone would go anywhere but here for tire issues. They have their service perfect. Ruben was amazing in my time of need and got me taken care of in 30 minutes! Everything was amazing!

I had an appointment here and the service is always excellent. They fixed my tire that had a nail. I enjoy the feature of getting text updates to know your car is ready.

I used to love this place. We have been getting tire care here for years. Today we waiting 21 minutes at the tire for what normally takes 5 min as the attendant tended to the GMC truck.

This place treated me like a longtime customer even though I did not end up eventually using their services due to a missing part in my vehicle that I needed to deal with first. Jon was the advisor who worked with me and he was very helpful and also patient in explaining the problem to me. I would trust this place to find a solution that works for each customer's unique tire/wheel problem.

Took my g/f here for many reasons. One, because it's literally around the corner, and two, despite so many negative reviews, I believed in the 5 star ratings. My gf had just parked and while reversing, she caught a flat. Not even 5 minutes later, I'm outside swapping the tire for the spare. We drive again literally around the corner to Discount Tire. The nail is literally in on the flat surface dead centered, they said it was an easy fix and free to patch up. They said that her tires are due, and she said she can't afford new tires just yet, and they took the car in. 10 minutes later, they come back and say "oh you guys drove it for too long, because it's torn from the inside. That only happens when you drive on it too long." I immediately told him that made no sense. Even after I explained to him the situation, he cut me off and said "No! You drove on it too long!". So, I strait up told him he's full of it. Go to Commercial tire and brakes (Maple Ave and Inwood). We stopped there right after Discount Liars. We didn't tell them our situation or what their competitor said to us. They fixed it without question for $15. And guess what, we will buy tires from them and they will have our business for a lifetime. Don't waste your time with Discount Liars.

Huge shoutout to Alejandro & Ruben (and the rest of the crew at Inwood). I pulled in 15 mins before closing for a repair. Alejandro was so kind and professional and pointed out a few other issues. They had me all fixed up and back on the road in 30. So pleased!!! Thank you!!

I had a flat tire that developed an air bubble when filled, and I was long overdue for all new tires anyways, so I called this Discount Tires to see if I could come by right away. Sergio answered the phone and was incredibly helpful. I was helped by Jon when I arrived who gave me a small discount on each tire after I had mistakenly given Sergio the wrong sized tires during the call (I told him 15" when I needed 16"). They changed my tires within 15 minutes and my car drives like new. I couldn't recommend this location more, I had a great experience.

My experience with Discount Tire of Dallas was not only unprofessional, but it was also a display of blatant disregard for both time and basic human decency. I came in with a simple issue: a flat tire. I dropped off my vehicle and expected a routine diagnosis and repair. After 30 minutes, they called to confirm I needed a new tire, which was fine. I provided my warranty details, as this tire replacement was fully covered. They assured me I would hear back shortly. Two hours passed—no call. I reached out, only to be told they were still waiting on payment from the warranty company, despite having called them two hours earlier. Funny enough, this same warranty has been processed within 30 minutes during previous visits at Discount Tire locations, but apparently, this was an exceptional case. They promised a prompt follow-up. Fast forward another two hours, still no call. At this point, my patience had completely worn thin. When I called again, I was met with the astonishing revelation that the claim had been paid 30 minutes prior, yet no action had been taken. Yes, you read that correctly. They received the payment, admitted they did nothing, and somehow thought this was an acceptable response. By this time, my vehicle had been sitting in their parking lot for almost five hours, untouched. How do I know? Well, I have a tracking app that monitors every door opened on my vehicle, and it showed not a single movement. This wasn’t just incompetence, it was intentional negligence. It became glaringly obvious that because they weren’t making any extra money from me, my car was pushed to the very back of the line and treated as an afterthought. The sheer audacity to admit their failure while stringing me along for hours is an embarrassment not just to this location, but to the concept of customer service as a whole. And to add insult to injury? This all happened on my birthday. Discount Tire of Dallas went above and beyond to ensure it was ruined. I will never, under any circumstances, return to this location. Their staff, a group of what I can only describe as disengaged, unqualified children, have no business handling anyone's vehicle. If you value your time, your car, and your sanity, avoid this place like the plague. They will waste it all.

Would give a zero - finished my car pulled it up to front car running door open and I had left on foot because they said it would be a minute and told person assisting me I would be leaving some one could have just driven off with my car! horrible service and attitude about leaving my car running door open and I’m not even there was even worse! thumbs down !!!!!

Arrived at 9:35am to patch a tire with a nail in it. It's noon now and they just started working on my car. Meanwhile people who came after me have been serviced. Avoid this location. Poor customer service and efficiency.

Do NOT go here if you have a foreign car! They are too lazy to switch their pneumatics to metric sockets, and have stripped my BMW lug bolts not once but TWICE. Had to take it to other mechanic shop to fix both times. They tried to claim "it was like that". No one else has touched the tires

Three hour wait after telling me two, when my vehicle was ready they didn't even let me know, I walked the parking lot and saw that it was ready... I'll never go back to any discount tire stores from this day forward....

We landed at 5 pm at the airport to discover a gash in our tire. We stopped by this discount tire praying they could get us in before they closed at 6 so we could get home and they were amazing! Luis was especially helpful in ensuring our tire was replaced quickly and got us on our way. I would go out of my way to return to this location and get this level of exceptional service.

Discount Tire continuously improves on their efficiency and customer service. Recommend that you always make an online appointment as it feels like you get some preferential courtesy. Parking has always been a tense exercise at this Inwood location and you could end up doing a lots of walking, which is nothing until it's 102.

From out of town for a dog show. Had a tire on the car that had a leak. Got to Discount Tire when they opened. Guys repaired the leak, found a bubble on another tire so replaced that and changed out old lug nuts from another Discount Tire. Pretty quick and great service.

Not trustworthy & no price transparency. I worked with two different service people who quoted me two different prices when I needed a wheel replacement. It felt like I was being haggled and turns out I was. I have a warranty on all 4 tires through discount tire but the line of tires was discontinued, so the warranty didn’t extend to the new tires and I would have to replace all four. He also said I had to go get a suspension check and they wouldn’t help me until I got my suspension checked by an outside party. I came back after getting my suspension checked (which turns out was totally fine), and the second service person was able to replace only 1 tire at a much cheaper price. Original quote just to replace the tire was 2 times as much as the second time I came back. Not trustworthy!

This Discount Tire Inwood location rocks!!! I walked in & immediately a guy asked to help me, we went to the computer & he pulled up my car with all the different options of tires to replace mine. Then he & another guy together discussed me going slightly larger than the tire I previously had that rode too rough & wore out quickly. A friend had suggested I do this, & after asking them both for an honest opinion as employees as to which tires they’d buy if they owned my exact car, both recommended their picks considering ratings & the price as well. Then I paid & took a seat in their pleasant waiting area. Even with the place packed, I observed them get each & every customer in & out in a timely manner, including myself. When my new tires were on, a friendly guy called my name at the door with my keys & receipt in hand, & he had my car right there for me. I drove off & my new tires were riding waaaaay better than the ones I left there. I’m super impressed with Discount Tire Inwood. They were recommended to me by my son who also had a good experience there. I will def go there again in the future every time I need new tires. I purchased their reasonably priced ‘Tire Warranty’ Plan cause my son said it’s the best & he’s saved lots of $$ with it. I hope the Manager keeps up the great service here on Inwood Road. HIGHLY Recommended!

UPDATE: After going thru the claims process, Discount Tire made it right and paid the dealership directly for the repairs needed after the visit. Thank you. My SO took her GLK350 in for a set of replacement tires. She paid for her tires before her scheduled appointment the next day (soonest available) and waited inside while technician went to inspect her vehicle. When the technician came back, he handed her the keys and went about his day. She went outside to find out the vehicle no longer started, and the steering wheel was locked in place. She asked why her car was no longer starting and he said he turned the wheel to inspect tires and turned off the car. She was basically told, “good luck,” and left with a disabled vehicle. She was left on her own, with only one other technician helping her (no manager came to check what had happened). She had the vehicle towed ($300) to the Mercedes Benz dealership, and quoted a $1700+tax estimate to repair the steering lock. She filed a claim, with discount tire which the employee is now disputing, saying it was not his fault. Clearly it was, as the vehicle was functioning and able to start when it arrived upon their premises. Even though we’ve both done business with discount tire for 10+ years, we will not go back to this, nor any location until this is rectified.

Went in for a tire pressure check on a particularly blazing hot day, no problem the assistant manager took care of it right away. That kind of service keeps me coming back to Discount Tire when it's time for new tires.
